Make Me Plum from Nude Nicotine is good. I have Inawera smoked plum, but don't like it. Only two plums I've tried.

Japanese plums taste nothing like the purple ones. Its hard to describe if to someone that hasnt had one.

Anyhow, mixed up some Lemon Meringue Pie, Ginger-Orange Brule, and Strawberry Mocha Frap.
LMP smells dead on. I just gave it a bit of a heat steep and will fill the tank up with that tonight.
Frap smells good. Gonna let it sit overnight while I enjoy the LMP.
The Ginger Brule has me worried. I mix by weight, and didnt realize it until I was thinking "wow, this is alot of drops" that NF thins the ginger with alcohol. I have a feeling I overdid the ginger as a result and it will overpower. Im gonna steep it a few days, but I have a feeling Im going to be redoing that one. :(

I mix by weight, ... NF thins the ginger with alcohol.

You make a very important point there for by-weight mixers.
Flavors in PG (like most of FA, TFA, FW, and Capella) are denser than those in alcohol (like all of Nature's Flavors, a few of each popular brand, and some lesser-knowns). When both types are in a recipe, mixing by weight versus volume will NOT give the same results. By-weight mixers then need to use a calculator with densities for each flavoring...or take the easy way out and just mix by volume.

By the way, NF Ginger mellows substantially after a couple days, so it might not be as overdone as it seemed at first.

I'm gonna let it steep a bit, but I was pretty far in before I realized something was up. May indeed be a junk batch. I'll give it a try first. On a side note, I'll weigh out a few ML of NF Ginger before the next go round to make sure I get it right. Easy peazy. I don't mind mixing by volume, I actually kinda use a hybrid system, but, I usually make 15ml batches with new flavors and volume is a pain in the rear with small percentages in small batches. My smallest syringe is a 10ml o_O

I've got other supplies on order, but they're saying I won't get em till almost April (thanks Amazon!)

That lemon merengue pie is killer though, even with TFA merengue

anyone got a starting ratio for FA glory?
I copied this from HIC's notes:

FA Glory:

A new (2015) tobacco blend. FA is after the NET crowd and Hangsen fans with this one. Old Dekang fans would call this a 555: nutty, fairly sweet, brown tobacco. Hangsen fans will compare Glory to Hangsen Highway, and might recognize some tobacco notes like in Hangsen Indian or Arabic (just the sweet tobacco part; Glory is not spicy). Hangsen fans, if you try just one FA tobacco, this is the one to pick. Glory lingers in your sinuses a while after you exhale, like NET tobaccos I’ve vaped. I wonder if there are natural tobacco extracts in Glory. It sure gives me that impression. Exhaled vapor did not offend non-vapers.

I didn’t get any startling flavor changes as it steeped - closed bottle, room temperature - for 4 days or after a long heat-steep. The nutty flavor became richer and the overall vape smoother. I get a rich, creamy undertone with my max-VG - savory, like the crust flavor in FA Apple Pie, but smoother - it took steeping for that to fully develop.

I began at 2.5% and moved down. At 2.5% it’s nutty, rich, bold, “brown” tobacco with dark caramel - sweet, but not dessert-like. Around 2% more nuances emerge. A hint of dark fruit? A little sour note borrowed from FA Toscano? Is that deep vanilla or butterscotch? The complexity will keep you guessing, especially as you vary your vaping power from low (creamiest) to higher (all kinds of interest). I was happiest at 1.75%, about the same strength I’d use FA Toscano or Cuban Supreme standalone. If you taste only nutty tobacco, you probably want to use LESS to taste the full flavor, or let it sit another day or two. (I’m mixing with VT’s “throat hit” nic in VG, with max-VG base).

Glory is going to quickly gain a BIG fan base and become one of the most popular FA tobacco flavors. Standalone Glory will be an adv for many tobacco vapers. I think of most FA tobaccos as ingredients for blends, but Glory needs nothing added to taste complete or realistic. Some might like a tiny bit of Black Fire for more “smoke” effect on the exhale. Some might like adding vanilla-caramel-butterscotch for milder tobacco flavor or to make it more dessert-like. Some might add FA Desert Ship for spice. Inawera fans will reach for their plum flavor or that ashy base. But you’re looking for a 555-type vape, just mix Glory at 2% and you’ll have an easily-mixed bottle of excellence.

If that description of Glory sounds good to you, you'd also be interested in SOHO.

I just don't want tobaccos very often, and I was never a big fan of nutty tobaccos, but Glory and SOHO both deserve Big Hype for those who like 555s - especially fans of Hangsen or old Dekang tobaccos. As standalones, SOHO is more complex and less likely to need any additions (so less flexible for mixing, but more likely to fully satisfy as a single flavor).

It seems to me FA's trend is toward more complex flavors. The whole "e-motions" line, SOHO, Nonna's Cake...I'm excited to see the next round!

Finally broke myself away from HICs Lemon Merengue Pie to try the Strawberry Mocha Frap. Very good. A nice smooth blend of sweet strawberry, with a hint of chocolate and coffee. We'll blended and smooth.

LMP has a bit of a throat hit at 6mg nic, but that's not incredibly surprising with the amount of lemon in there. Not horrible. Totally worth it. Insanely satisfying and a great flavor match.

your notes on glory are bang on HIC . i did mix it at a 2.5 day one of steep and its pretty dam good for a tobacco vape. i keep thinking about adding vanilla or something like that but tbh its pretty good as is. as it steeps i reckon itll get even better. SOHO taste a lot like a RY4 recipe ive seen on this forum, with ry4, cream ect.. its lighter than tpa ry4 double. and as far as ry4 vapes go its really good. (it does require a way higher % than most fa flavs) if u like ry4's this is a must. so today im goon mix up sone nonas cake!!!! looking forward to seeing how the cake base taste like!!

Seems like that throat hit died out after another day of so of steeping.
On a related note, shoulda made more than 15ml. Guess what Im doing while the kids are at school tomorrow and daddy has the day off

Is there a pattern developing? People who get Nonna's Cake seem to disappear for a while. lol Good stuff, huh @kiwivaper ?
I'm so excited for it to be available to everyone!

BTW, anyone who has been getting by with just 1 FA vanilla flavor, Nonna gives you good reason to want all 3. Having the ideal vanilla (which depends on the other flavors you're including) can really be the difference between tasty and fantabulistic when Nonna is included.
I'm not trying to tease, just thought that would be useful to know.
Okay, I'll stop now.

Silly me - didn't even think of it I was so impatient LOL! I almost ordered 30mls, but went with the multi-pack of several flavors, so only 10 mls. Probably should have bought the 30 mls!

LOL no worries. I'm excited to hear your thoughts on it, as well. Sounds like a hit, already.

*Finally* got my stuff together and ordered my stuff from BCV and ECE to make Pink Cadillac. HIC, this is good stuff! Very smooth and a nice palette change from the raspberry-dew-hpno I've been favoring lately.

I also ordered some fuji to make the fruit punch because that sounds delish also.

Anyway, the great Cthulhu gives Pink Cadillac two tentacles up! Good enough to make 150 mL batches, which is my go to batch size for ADVs. Great job there, buddy.

Been considering grabbing some Fiji myself. The best apple out there.

Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
I haven't tried it yet but if it vapes like it smells it could stand on it's own. That would be awesome since I've yet to try an apple I like. Figures too because when I ordered all I could find was 10mL :(

If the notes in the first few paragraphs don't quickly lead to the solution for your setup, PM or email me when you get some mixing time.
Sorry so late in reply............my bad. Went on cruise.........anyways toucan needed to steep. Wasn't a shake n vape for me. Settled out nicely. Sorry for the immature post. It's a great recipe. Tried it at first, then again after 3 days or so and it was awesome. Thank you for the reply. Again sorry to have hastily post message.

I'd be hasty, too, if I was heading out on a cruise!
I'm glad it steeped to your satisfaction, and I hope your cruise was a great time.

Mine arrived in the US on Feb 27, but it's been stuck at 'processed through sort facility' in Los Angeles ever since :-( I have a FT package that's been in the same place since Feb 25!

Nonna's Cake is now available through FA Italy: http://flavourart.com/en/store/resellers/custom-mix/nonna-cake-en/
Since it's listed on FA's main site now, I think it's safe to assume US vendors will have it soon.

I've been waiting to add store recipes with Nonna's Cake until it's more widely available. Patience is NOT my strong suit!

Lucky you! :) Do let us know your thoughts!;)

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! I don't have near the palette that others do when it comes to tasting subtle flavors, so I won't be good at that.......but can I taste a ricotta filling? You bet!!! Do I get a custard filling w/ a baked brown butter (great description HIC)? Absolutely!! Could I have told you these flavors without looking at HIC's description?......No way! LOL That's my problem. Everything tastes good, but I can't nail down those exact tastes. This is so incredibly yummy. I mixed it 30pg/70vg and am dripping it on my Veritas @ 60watts w/ a .23ohm dual coil. I'm finding that I'm liking the flavor better as the vape gets warmer. Started at 40w, then 50w......and now to 60w. It's tasting pretty darned good, so I may try it a bit higher!

I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this flavor. It's a perfect vape all by itself. I did also mix the Tiramisu w/ Nonna recipe that HIC posted, but I haven't tried that one yet. I want to let it sit over night and may try it with breakfast tomorrow. ;-)

Okay, one with Nonna's Cake, since 3 people who already have it twisted my arm! :D <---(enjoys having arm twisted)
This is my all-FA, no-diketone answer to all other brands' vanilla cake flavors.

New today at HIC's Mixes : Frosted Vanilla Cupcake
p Frosted Vanilla Cupcake.jpg
"Classic vanilla cupcake with vanilla buttercream frosting. All flavorings used are diketone-free, and this sweet vanilla cake will not clog your coils. A 2-3 day steep time is recommended. Includes a variation for Buttermint Cupcakes. This recipe uses only FlavourArt flavorings, including their new Nonna's Cake flavor - currently sold only through FA in Italy and the UK, estimated to arrive to American vendors later in March."

Do you reckon one could make this as a substitute base for a flavor that I like, which is vanilla cupcake dominant, with also marshmallow, graham crust, & ry4? I've been working on a clone but would love to be diketone free and use all FA ;)

I would consider it a (tastier!) replacement for your vanilla cupcake flavoring. So you could mix a bottle of just the flavorings (using ml instead of percents to make a bottle), and use THAT as a flavoring in other recipes.
...did I understand your question correctly?
