Has anyone else noticed an increase in static discharges on objects while vaping?

I seem to get shocked all the time. Not while vaping at the same time but still get zapped when touching things

It's winter, (only 81 right now) and I get zapped constantly, vaping or not.

winter time often brings dry air (in the northern states anyway where it actually gets cold).
Thus, you'll get shocked more often in the winter then in the summer.

I'm used to the winter static shocks, grew up in NY live in Florida now. It's been pretty wet down here lately, the shocks I've been getting lately have been sizeable. Been pulling arcs off of light switches, appliances, even got a good one off one of the grandkids today. I was wondering if the act of vaping could build up a static charge.

Some grocery stores no matter time of year I can blast myself to my knees off a shopping cart, or shelving.. I can be grounded touch touch touch.... WHAMBO!! sounds like an electrical outlet going south and me on my knees with my heart fluttering due to the adrenaline dump.

I had one that was so loud and intense the manager thought I was tossing those popper things in her store. Until I reached back to near where I got arced from and it did it again.

Go barefoot. Totally eliminates electric shocks. Folks in grocery stores and restaurants seem to get a little bothered about it though.
