Full Disclosure:

Let’s get all the disclosures out of the way. This RDA was sent to me directly from Augvape specifically for the purposes of this review. This will not in any way, shape, or form cause me to give this RDA a favorable review or change my opinion in any way.

First Impression Out Of The Box:

Man, this is one shiny RDA. this Druga has like a mirror finish to it. It’s nice but this thing is going to show every fingerprint that touches it. This is some deck with what looks like thumb screws. What have we hear a Ultem chuff cap as well. Nice first impression.

What’s In The box:

Along with your Druga your get a spare delrin drip tip, ultem chuff style drip tip, 510 drip tip adapter, spare o'rings, a hex key, and a squonk pin. There are no spare post screws.

From Top To Bottom:

The Druga comes set up with the Ultem drip tip. It’s a chuff style cap and although its really nice its just not my style of drip tip. I took a few pulls with it but I swapped it out for the delrin drip tip. The delrin drip tip is more my speed. Really comfortable and tall enough so you don't get bacon lips. Both drip tips have a 10mm bore.

The top cap is set up for dual airflow. You can not run a single coil on this RDA. It has a single o'ring that keeps the top cap in place and the machining is very nice. It has a some good tolerance to adjust your airflow but to be honest it could definitely use some knurling. It’s a little to smooth on top and it makes adjusting the airflow a little difficult.

The sleeve has a beautiful finish and I really like the Daredevil logo on it but I'm not to sure how Marvel comics feels about it. Just kidding, if you look closely enough it's a little different but similar enough for me to comment. There are two airflow slots, one on each side and they are fully adjustable via the top cap. All in all machining is beautiful all around and very well done. All the cut outs are nice and smooth and I just needed one wash and one rinse to get this RDA vaping.

The Deck:

You want innovation? Well, this is an innovative deck. It has thumb screws that screw onto two posts and you lay your leads in between the two posts. Once you leads are hand tightened in place you can snug them up by tightening them further with a phillips head screwdriver.

Very different and very innovative. Of course there is only one terminal per post but the terminal itself measures 2.5mm by 3mm, so you can fit some pretty big coils in there. The deck itself is 24mm and has 20mm of workable usable space. I like the fact that this RDA allows for tool less adjustment and I will get into that in more depth in the next section.

The 510 pin is removable and it can be replaced with an included squonk pin. They even include a hex key for the installation of the squonk pin. There is also a negative post screw so you can take the deck completely apart should you feel the need to do so. The outer part of the deck that the sleeve or barrel slips onto has two decent o'rings that provide pretty good tolerance when removing the sleeve.

Building And Wicking:

This deck is really very easy to build on once you get the process down. Let me explain because it is a little more involved than just throwing a build in. What I do is install one coil at a time I hand tighten the deck screws, clip my leads and then pull the coil out. I move onto the second coil and do the same thing. Then I take both coils and I install them together and hand tighten the screws. I make sure one lead is actually laying over the other. I make my adjustments to the coils and then I snug them down with a good phillips head screwdriver. Wicking is just a matter of pulling through your cotton and tucking it under the coils.

The phillips heads on the thumb screws are a little shallow and I do wish they were deeper. I also wish that spares were included as well. The juice well is pretty deep and the whole deck is 24k gold plated. This RDA is a drippers dream as I get 25-30 drops in it with no problems at all.

But Deuces, How Does She Vape:

She does vape like a dream. Airflow is really smooth. Flavor is fantastic especially with the airflow shut down about halfway. The vape quality actually reminds me of the Vandyvape Icon. I get the best of both worlds with this RDA. I get massive cloud production if I open her up and crank up the mod or I get great flavor if I tighten the airflow and knock down the power a bit.

The build I am running right now is dual Tiger coils. I’m ohming out at .25 in kanthal TC at 80 watts and 500 degrees. I have the airflow ¾ open and I feel I get a great compromise of clouds and flavor this way. The vape is dense, thick, lush and flavorful. The delrin drip tip stays really cool while chain vaping and I am getting an extremely satisfying vape.

Conclusion:

Augvape hit a Homerun here. This is a great RDA with really great flavor and clouds. I do wish it came in black as well because the SS is just a little too shiny for my taste but all in all this is a fantastic RDA. Yeah it has a few minor cons here and there but the value and bang for your buck is definitely there. The Druga is DeucesJack approved.

Nope, not at all. I have never had that problem and I have run a few builds in it already.

Raymo does plonk in some real monster staggertons etc might just be these types?

So far I've really liked the Augvape products I've purchased so can't see why this will be different ;)

Ok I read this one cause it's somewhat similar to the skill rda which is my favorite dual coil rda. It looks like since the top are shallow, I would have to use a flat top to preserve the top screw and prevent it from stripping. And also because I don't get any spares. Flat top driver is the only way to go.

Looks nice and the ultiem DT. Squonk was a smart move. The driptip looks a lil thin though. The yellow part of the DT is not as muddy. And it seems light can shine thru it. Since it fits Kennedy/goon DT I think I'll probably replace with my Goon LP Ultiem. That one is nice and thick.

I read Kingpin said raymo coils fell out. I think as long as you lay the coils flat one over the other. And hand tighten. Then use a flat head driver and retighten after u adjust ur coils. U should be Fine. @KingPin!

Maybe Raymo just handwound the screws and never use a flat driver to retighten. Cause it doesn't look secure enough to just SOLELY handtighten.

Great review mate. I rate 8/8

Vucci the only thing that bothers me with what you said is "8/8" ...it's just won't do with my OCD 10/10 or 5/5 ok fine but 8/8?! ;) :D:p

I did get one in the end Jack apart from the gold plating coming off the top of the screws first time in the ultrasonic cleaner which I wasn't impressed with I love this RDA

I'm yet to get an Augvape product I haven't liked

It's like the bastard love child between the peerless and the skill rda to me ...although I opted for the black Delrin drip tip they provided

That black delrin tip is pretty darn nice in it's own right! I love the thick walls and smooth finish of it. I also recently discovered some nice, inexpensive resin 810 tips that I absolutely love. Everzon has these ones for $5 that are surprisingly well made. I also picked one up from gearbest (who have them on sale for like $2) and it's really, really cool looking but doesn't fit as snug as I'd like it to
