Is it ok to wrap 26g ss316l with 32g kanthal to make Clapton wire thinking it will be fine but just want to make sure.

I'm currently using a fused clapton 28 gauge ss 316 for the core 36 gauge kanthal outer wrap works great for me in temp and power mode on my sx mini m class mod

Do you do spaced coils or contact iv been having a bit of bother getting contact coils working in tc mode with ss iv been using 26g.316l
