Splenda: Study Finds Artificial Sweetener Could Cause Serious Health Problems
The study, published in the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health, found that mice who were fed sucralose daily developed blood cancers and leukemia.

I dont know the particulars of the study but I thought I would just mention it because some people use it in their blends.......

First time I can remember that I'm glad I'm not Swiss. :)

Conclusions: These findings do not support previous data that sucralose is biologically inert. More studies are necessary to show the safety of sucralose, including new and more adequate carcinogenic bioassay on rats.
----

Kinda why I been using Stevia if/when I want any sweetener.
My Son-in-law works for Dow and warned us about Splenda quite some time ago.

Remember Chewls gum(square shaped,liquid center) on the label it said "known to the state of Cal. to cause cancer".I have come to the conclusion that NY and Cal.are very unhealthy states to live in................glad I live in the midwest,apparently we're immune to the stuff that kills people in the coastal states :p

It seems to me that if you look for something, you will almost always find it, no matter where you look. Sorta quantum, I guess. :D

Remember the studies saying an apple a day will keep the doc away and then the change to where apples can cause cancer. Or oranges cause cancer. Anything in too much of abundance can cause cancer. I still believe no one really knows the true reason as to why people get cancer and others don't. Be nice if they could find out.
