I want to learn more about mech mods. I'm not really sure about getting one though because of the battery safety and a lot of people had their mod blow up. I'm just curious to know which one would be the best and the safest way to get started, sometime later down the road.

I haven't got into rdas or rtas yet, but I want to eventually. I'm using the snow wolf 200w with my herakles plus or uwell crown and I also have the rx200 with the tfv4 mini, which has been my everyday mod since I got it about a week ago. I have the evic vtc mini as well, but that was the mod that I started out with, so I don't use it anymore.

You really don't want to use fixed voltage mods for running tanks. Rebuildable or coil head. Rda's work best on mechs. Since you have very capable mods, I suggest getting an rda and learn how to build it. Once you're comfortable with that, you can start worrying about how to build to a certain resistance in order to get the performance you want. Since you have good gear for now, you can take steps instead of trying to figure it out all at once. Just my opinion.

You're right, I did a little more research on mech mods, and it's best if you have an ohm reader or something like that. that's why I was trying to figure out how to delete this post, lol. But I appreciate your help!

If you like big air, direct lung hitting tanks, you'll love the performance of a well setup rda. No tank can match them. And you can get away with using one of your variable wattage mods to check the resistance. I highly suggest picking up a dual coil rda with a velocity style deck. Super easy to build and the performance (if setup well) will blow you away. Good luck.

An RDA and Ohm meter would be a good start. While you figure out your new RDA and builds, you should stick around and read what is already posted on the forum. Plenty of smart people and a shitload of experience on this forum. Don't rush your self, let the knowledge come first, and you will find your best mod. No one can tell you what is the best unregulated mod or best woman for you:)
