Blackberry goes with Apple so maybe blackberry and Apple pie or cheesecake or yoghurt and I would add creams and vanilla too :)

Does that sounds good to you? All FA:

Apple Pie 3%
Blackberry 0,5%
Fresh cream 0,5%
Vanilla Bourbon 0,5%

Blackberry is the most potent flavor FA has ever produced! You might need even less than 0.5%. If it tastes like a bar of soap, or like perfume, you have used too much. You might want to dilute the flavor by making a 10 ml solution with 10% flavor and your choice of VG/PG, in order to be able to fine tune your recipe.
Blackberry does fade rather quick though.

Very very potent. I made a 10 percent solution of the FA blackberry and still tastes like perfume.

Yeah i learned that the hard way :D But 1% as a standalone in a max vg is good and doesnt taste like soap to me but it was standing around for a while before i tasted it. So maybe ill give it a try with 0.3 first.. Thanks

If using FA you could add:
2% Vanilla Classic
1% Fresh Cream (or Vienna Cream)
0.5% Marshmallow
0.5% Coconut

Kind-of an Ice Cream thing.

I got the same results, but found VZ-SC Blackberry to be best.
FE Blackberry is close behind, (hard to tell the difference).
FW & CAP were OK too, no perfume anyway, (using 2% mostly).

Try it at 0.5% first, you can adjust it in the next batch as needed.

Mmmmm, Blackberry Cream.
Or perhaps make a berry juice? Blackberry, Cherry, Wild Blueberry, Wild Strawberry, ... and cream! Might take a bit to get it to perfection considering so many berries, but fruit flavors are worth it. 'Cause fruit :xD:

My first taste of FA Blackberry at 3% blew out a set of taste buds. :blech:
I like a sweet vanilla creamy something with a wee hint of blackberry.
or in Cola and Jamaican Rum
or with other berries of course
or all of the above...but just the tiniest bit of Blackberry will do it for me.

That may be true fruit wise but I'd wager Honey, Breadcrust and Dark Vapure would all beg to differ. :D

Cam Tel, or Cam Blend, or whatever they call it this week....
Hands down winner in the Heavy Weight Class !!!!

Hey, that one changes a LOT as it ages, so don't abandon it to quickly.

I have ONE recipe it actually works in.... @ 1/20th strength !
Have 2 -1/2 years of experiments and still have the first bottle I ever mixed.
Still working outta the original 10 mils I bought when I first started DIY.... Still have about 7 mils in it !

Ok, I was thinking of using FA Blackberry in place of peach in my cobbler recipe. I've been using 5% TFA Juicy Peach in that one. What percent of the blackberry do you think I should sub? I was going to try 2% but from reading this thread, I'm now guessing that's too much?

IMO, yes that would be too much. I'd recommend starting at 0.5% and possibly going up to 1% ... any greater than that and it starts to give off floral notes to me.

I agree with NGAHaze here. I've been playing with FA blackberry for a bit now and, for me, I have to keep this around or below .2% or it has a perfumey taste. I like it paired with Bilberry because they're both nice and dark, earthy flavors. No way I could do 2% but that's my taste.
