I hate how you gotta turn the legs to get into the velocity style decks.

Im gonna go out on a limb and suggest an RTA.

Its not the latest and greatest, its even considered kinda ugly by many. The clones are very well priced and if you get the right one, you cant tell it apart from the genuine.

This thing is so easy, the hardest part is getting the little mesh tubes just right for some. For me it took about 3 goes at it.

I love this thing, amazing flavor, so easy to refill, you can do it blind if you had to. Deck is large so plenty of room for any kind of crazy coils.

There are tons of configurations from a stealthier 4ml to I think 8?

I love mine and it does have a pretty good fan club

GIve the Flash-e-vapor a try. I have the V3 and I leave the little AFC screw off for the air. They have a new version that has a larger air intake and glass tank. Im not a big cloud nut, but I have seen setups on the FEV that fill up rooms.

THats funny, I never thought Id be able to use a "blind" tank. I have not been able to on any other RTA. You can just taste when It gets low. Im always never wrong. I take a puff and the taste is "off" pop off the reservoir and yup, its empty. A couple of times I have ignored that and start to inhale and get that slightly yuck taste and only once did I get a dry hit.

I HATE DRY HITS. I rather have a slightly slushy vape than a dry one.

I did start off with the clear window, but loved the "full metal jacket" look.

THe way it is designed, you dont have a vacuum type of tank, the FEV has 2 holes on the cap that separates the deck from the tank, you can use either the little cotton rope or make some little mesh tubes. I like the tubes, Ive had the same ones in there for almost a year.

The tubes sit on top of your wick, snug , but not tight and it actually drips liquid onto the wicks. I dont know why or how this works so well. One would think it would just flood, but once the little tubes are wrapped just right for the thickness of liquid it just works.

Not really, but it is an RTA that makes people shy away.

ITs the only tank I take out with me. I know its not going to flood, leak, or change with the heat.

But like I said, just a suggestion. ITs the tank I suggest to new people wanting to try their hand at rebuilding

If you want I can sell you a Diablo RTA I have extra and trhow a build in it for you...Im sure that will change your whole view on RTA's....
Trust me, once you vape on a "Riablo" you are gonna change your whole tune and jump into the deep end.... ;) it's a very tasty vaporful slippery slope!

Do yourself a flavor and pick up the Diablo off Ray, once you do click on over to subtank supply and place your boreas order! ;) :)

I 2nd the diablo flavor is on par with anything else i've tried. It's never leaked seating coils is a breeze and biggest deck for a 22mm i know of. Only down side is it's a juice hog.

Can it hang with high vg juice? Or is that no longer a problem with tanks?

He's getting it guys.
I vape 80/20 and 90/10 and it wicks like a dream, I already wicked it and threw some Mini Staples in it...I am confident this will tear your perspective out and toss it in the can after you juice this ;) It will need 70w-80w for optimum results but it will give a nice, warm, dense vape that will wet your lips.

I Made some Mini Staples (5 Wraps/3mm ID @ .2 Ohms), Mounted them, Pulsed and Pinched them, Wicked them (Cotton Bacon V2!)...All you will need is juice! (They arent Coilporn quality as they have been prepared for duty...)

I started dripping about 3 months ago after using tanks for 9 months. I'll never go back to a tank.

I agree with you on the VCMT 30mm. Not very many competitions in my area, but next one that o find out about, I will show up with my VCMT...
Well, are u saying no competitors for vapor production or flavor? Because if you were saying flavor, I've definitely going to have to disagree with you there...

rda = flavor, clouds.
rta = less of both, but has a tank
this is my opinion of it anyway.
take it as you will.

As far as vapor production, the VCMT beats out my "cloud chasing" RDA's. Mutation Xs, Kennedy comp w/ demon cap, Royal hunter. Turns them over a knee, whips them all soundly, and puts them to bed. As far as flavor with the VCMT, it is pretty top notch. It produces so much thick creamy vapor that it is impossible to not taste it. Like drinking your juice.
On the other hand, I have a few rta's that put out top Flavor yet consume about a quarter of the juice than the VCMT. Bellus and Silverplay V2. Dense, concentrated flavor. Decent clouds. These atties don't have the "indoor ban" at my house, like the VCMT does. Due to the VCMT setting off the fire alarm with one hit before.
Anyway, every Atty has a "sweet spot" that it likes to be built to, giving you optimum flavor and vapor production for its design. YMMV.

The drippers vs. tanks question has gotten a lot more interesting in the last year or so... I stopped using tanks 2 years ago when I bought my first Reo. At the time, nothing compared to the flavor of an RDA, and even if it could, I hated all the leaking/wicking issues, not to mention how messy the whole thing was compared to a nice squonk set-up. But now you've got RTAs that produce really great flavor, have really easy build decks, and don't take a PhD to figure out how much wick to stuff where.
So now I'm interested in getting some RTAs. I've started making my own juice, and I've noticed how different flavors taste in different RDAs- and I can only imagine it's the same for tanks. My only experience with a more recent tank is the Melo III, which pretty much sucks for flavor. I've got a CloudOne clone en route, and am thinking about ordering a Merlin.
I don't think it's so easy to categorize them these days-- like saying RDAs are better for flavor (because, which RDA? with what build? and what flavors?) or tanks or more convenient (BFs are even more so)...
The only real issue I have with tanks, though, is carrying all my juice, in a big, tall, breakable glass container on top of my mod. That just seems so wrong to me... but I'm gonna give it a try.

In the past RDAs were much better then tanks, both in flavor and vapor production.
Lately RTAs and especially RDTAs have improved a lot, to the point that they are almost as good as RDAs but not quite.
I was an RDA only kind of guy, but lately I've been using RDTAs a lot more and RDAs less.

I look at it the same way. I started looking for more power back in early 2013 and got hooked on Genisis tanks. Great flavor, but finicky to set up and maintain. Better part of a year later I tried a Trident RDA and was blown away by the ease of building it and the performance. I really didn't think I would like the fact that I had to drip after every few drags, but it didn't take long until I was hooked on RDA's and then moved on to squonking.

Tried an Aromamizer RDTA late last year. Now I have three of 'em and a package on the way with a Merlin and a Boreas in it . I still vape an RDA almost every day, but 90% of the time it's a tank. Right now I've got an Aromamizer and a Onslaught RDA with a triple coil build in it. Using the same juice I don't honestly know which I prefer. They are both just great for me :)
