Finally have some recipes I think are worthy of sharing :)

It's been my experience that fewer flavors usually works better. I've tried several recipes that had 5 - 6+ ingredients and haven't really enjoyed any of them. Either there's so much going on that I can't enjoy any one ingredient or I taste absolutely nothing which is probably due to flavors washing out.

Thanks again for sharing your recipes with us! I gotta get some more flavors ordered to make them.

Yes, thanks for sharing your recipes and you experiences with flavors. I also agree with the less works better for me although I have been experimenting with some talk mixes that have been kind of complex with 6 or 7 flavors but they were mixed as separate e-Liquids and mixed as a Mood Mix. Good to have you here McHaggis

Thanks so much for sharing your work - very appreciated. Indeed this forum is so friendly and with passionate people who are ready to share insights on what they do instead of just dumping recipes. We learn a lot here. Thanks again for your recipes.

Happy to be here and share my experience. The most "complex" recipes I make are the leftovers from multiple bottles so I can re-use them. sometimes they're actually pretty good lol. Usually I smoke the leftovers and think what am I doing to myself??? The whole time lol.

No problem. Let me know what you think should you try them.

Copied your coconut, vienna cream, cookie recipe to try some time. Looks good.

It is. I posted incorrectly the vienna cream %. It's only .5% vienna cream, not 1.5%. Enjoy.

I am an X-Smoker I vape now. That is something I get really anal about and nothing personal but if you smoking your e-Liquids you are using to much power or too many coils at too much power. I an not inhaling combustion of Tobacco Products and to me at least that means I DO NOT SMOKE.

Nothing personal but it pisses me off when uneducated people tell me I am still smoking! Good luck!

Sorry. I've been vaping for years and still use the terms interchangeably. It also irritates me when people tell me either what I'm doing is worse than smoking or it's the same.

I had a Tobacco Salesman in the Vape Shop the other day telling me I was Smoking and he was given a nice lesson on what vaping is and how since he sells Tobacco products he should understand the difference. I also through in that there are no Tobacco Products in my e-Liquid and no carcinogens from combustion.

at the end of the day I feel like the only real argument is smoking WILL kill me, but vaping might and we just don't know how yet and that's a chance I'm willing to take.

Just pissed me off that a Tobacco Salesman was trying to tell me I was smoking so I took the time out of my day to give him an earful about what myself and Mike the owner of the Vape Shop were actually doing. I made a point to say there were NO Carcinogens in our e-Liquids like there are in all those Tobacco Products he sells. Ha hah

I'm sure somewhere down the line the state of California will find carcinogens in e-liquid just like they do in e verything else lol. Shit I'm surprised they haven't said there's carcinogens in the water we drink or our farts or something lol. On another note I wish I could open a vape shop, but there's a few problems. 1. I hate people in general and have no patience for dealing with the public and 2. I am terrible at telling people what to do so I couldn't see myself with any employees... and those are kind of important to run a shop haha. My buddy joked that one day we'd open a shop and he'd deal with the employees and the public and I could just sit in the back and play mad scientist with flavors and mods and stuff all day.

Well I am in New York so California can do what it wants I have to worry about the NY Politico's. But it irks when when some tells me my vaping is as bad as smoking. First that shows they know nothing concerning vaping and then they get a free education on vaping because they pissed me off!

My wife's one relative... great aunt? Or something... Idk my wife's family is massive compared to mine so it's hard for me to keep track. Anyway, the one day my vaping was brought up in conversation just briefly and she says "ya know vaping is even worse for you than smoking is. It's crazy that you and all these ppl vape. I don't understand it" and it took every ounce of willpower of mine to not look at this 90ish year old lady and say "are you retarded? What kind of verbal diarrhea did I just witness?". Then I thought briefly about it and realized it wasn't worth the fight, especially with my wife.

i give the other person a dead stare and remark back something to the effect,,, fear, hate and ignorance are the most common forms of education used by the media & govt.....i just dont like some 22year old 'reporter' hacking a story they just plagiarized from 10 years ago educating me/trying to save me

(translation to the other person:::::,, you were just 'educated by a 22 years only trying to make a deadline for income,,, damn the facts or truth)

1% oba oba
1% 7 leaves
1.5% vanilla tahity

Little tobacco, nice herbal notes, just the right amount of sweetness. I like it.
I am finally tasting this baby! Well done. A sweet fluffy vanilla with that 7 leaves herbiness/light anise taste. Really sweet and exotic vape. TY!

Thank you. I'm glad you like it! That oba oba and 7 leaves combo tastes pretty good with some darker tobaccos like Maxx or latakia too :). You won't notice that anise-ish taste with tobaccos though.

I want the time and creative genius, but am lacking there. So.... I depend on you guys to create my tasty vapes ;)

Between my children, work, the in laws across the street, the garden and now our new hobby: beekeeping, I just never have the time to experiment. I try and do a little from time to time, but it's increasingly despairing for me to just dump my unsuccessful e-juice down the drain, especially when times are tough. So I am just completely appreciative to those posting their hard worked recipes. Keep up the good work! Thank you :)

Thanks. I hope you like some of my recipes. I don't have a whole lot of time to experiment due to work, but I always write down my thoughts on each recipe. The good ones I just remake. I'm a cheap ass though so even the recipes I don't like I vape anyway lol

You're the first to give me feedback on a recipe someone has tried so far. I'm very happy my first bit of feedback is good .

I'm still puffing away on my coconut, vienna cream, and cookie recipe. I can't bring myself to vape anything else lately.

Oh, I will be trying more. TY. You can always keep adding to this thread and post the ones you really like individually...as to be an easier find. You don't have to name them. You could just put sweet vanilla 7 leaves blend or RY4 nut blend or anise fruit blend...to give people an idea of the type of vape. More people might find it easier, try, and give feedback. To me the one I tried is well deserving of its own thread. But it's all up to you. I really am glad I tried this one out. I just hate steeping and wish I would have made more. I am most definitely mixing up a huge bottle of this!!

You could try it without steeping. I have so many bottles in rotation it's just I naturally go at least a week between making the bottle and vaping it. I don't do anything fancy I just leave the bottle in my desk drawer and whenever I get around to vaping it i write down my thoughts on that recipe. I can't imagine that does a whole lot besides maybe mellow recipes out. Occasionally if I really like a recipe I make it in an old boss reserve glass bottle and quick steep it.

Idk. We are all so different in ways as are the way flavors can react to one another. What I have noticed is that certain things I have made I prefer fresh and steeping they are less potent. However some recipes don't taste so good fresh, but awesome steeped. I know oba oba is a flavor that might change as it steeps. Only one way to find out. :D. I have plenty to vape, just some that ain't so great.:bomb:

I've noticed particularly with Tobacco flavors that if I try to vape them fresh each flavor fights for attention, but let the recipe sit for at least a few days and all the flavors tend to blend together.

Idk I think it just sort of got buried in this forum and people forgot about it so I sorta let it go. I've had more recipes since this thread started.
Hey we will not let this thread go:facepalm::headbang: Let's play my friend :coffee2: you have so many people who thank and appreciate your work:slowclap:. Honestly I do :):inlove:

have you tried this http://vapingunderground.com/blogs/ area? that is great for writeup purpose specially when you can keep all your work in one place and on top of page while comments at bottom; check it out.

Oh I hadn't seen that. I wonder if that was what I was asking huckleberried about at the beginning of this thread.

Not really too many adventures. I keep trying to make recipes, but I so half-ass my notes anymore I haven't made much of anything that's real good like some of the recipes I've already posted about. Maybe now that it's winter and I'm not outside woodworking I can take better notes and start sharing recipes again.

Great effort @mchaggis79 ...The recipes look great. For the post above, have you tried using MTS Vape Wizard? I have heard it goes well with Tobacco recipes and makes them shine...possibly add that oomph you are after. All the best and keep up the good work.

I did finally get it a month or two back now. I need to go back to this recipe and give it a try. I do notice a little difference from using it in other recipes.

I love this recipe still. sometimes I add a little joy or marshmallow to sweeten it up a bit.

I mix it in a glass bottle which holds 30ml. I then use my electric kettle and heat water up to 160 degrees, put the eliquid glass bottle in a decent sized cup, fill the cup up to about the neck of the bottle, and just let it sit there until the water becomes room temp and shake the bottle every 5-10 minutes. you'll know it's done when you no longer see swirls in the fluid from the vegetable glycerin not being mixed with everything else.

If you can't do a quick steep like this then just let the bottle sit in a cupboard or something for a few days and shake the bottle a few times a day.

As Elites mentioned, they're pretty new still, and not seeing much use, but it's certainly a good place to keep your notes/recipes in one place. I do think you've done a fine job keeping them up in here, as well.

Wow it's been a long time since I've posted in here. Got a new job and woodworking keeps me busy besides that. Anyway I have a lot of new recipes since this post started. Since there's so many now I'm not going to bother posting each individually cause I'll be here all night. So I'm just going to share my notebook with you all. Many will be recipes I have already shared, many are new. If you have any questions about anything please let me know and I will answer them.

edit... I tried taking pictures of my notebook and it's not letting me share them cause it says the files are too large. I don't have the time to type out every recipe in my notebook cause there's about 50 of them... help?

Assuming pictures, use a photo-sharing site (like imgur), upload your pictures to that site and then link them to here. For instance:

[img ]url to picture[/ img] (omit the spaces though) where url to picture is http://i.imgur.com/OQ7DQq7.jpg gives

I know I have terrible handwriting so here's a few clues.

1. If you see a recipe with a big X over it it means I thought it tasted like a donkey's buthole so don't do it.

2. if you see a flavor and then an arrow pointing to another flavor it means I replaced the first flavor with the second.

3. if you see something like 3/5 or 4/5 in a box with a recipe. It's my rating for that flavor lol. Obviously many of these recipes won't be spectacular, but outside of the ones I put a big X over I think they're all good enough for a daily vape here and there.

the ones that pop into my head atm as my favorites are 1, 8, and 33. I know there's a couple others in there somewhere that I love, but I can't remember their numbers off the top of my head.
