I've tried this. Nail polish comes off in chunks, along with ALL of the measuring units.
I had the same problem.
Red nail polish doesn't work either. :)

I've stopped using tape on my 1ml syringes; I felt it made them hard to read. Instead, I split a box of 100 syringes (Amazon) with Thunderball, and just pitch them when the writing starts coming off. The plunger is usually starting to stick by then anyhow, so no big loss.

@Thunderball How do you like those syringes? Mine seem to hold up really well as long as I'm careful when washing them.

lol I have had the same syringes for at least 6 months. little strip of scotch tape and they last forever. I use a baby medicine syringe for the VG. works awesome. I counted the drops per ml of pretty much all the bottles I have so I usually use drops, and use the same 3 syringes for vg/pg and nic. I want a nice scale but the .001 gram scales are hard to find at a good price around town and I am leary of buying something like that online.

I'm pretty sure I have some degree of "Vaper's Tongue" today. :-(

I can taste stuff, but everything is muted, and/or a little off. I think I might have slightly burned my tongue at dinner last night, so I'm attributing it to that.

Got the Fogger in today from SlowTeck :) wont have time to play with it for a couple of days :( at first glance it looks really nice.

@wllmc, you ordered one also, right?
I'm a big fan of the fogger v4+!! I have 2 in the rotation. I hope you love it! .45ohm is my sweet spot with them.

@Cramptholomew really likes them. I had one for about a month. I never liked it but I get attached to things also lol. still using my kayfun I have had for almost a year. I ended up trading it for a mod. I am one of a few that didnt like it. the bottom fill is what killed it for me and I just never got great taste from it. bet you like it tho most people do.

here is one to try. been vaping espresso all day and needed a change up. so here is what I did

2% orange
1% mango
.5% blackcurrant
1% irish cream
.5% fresh cream

Ill probably give it a name and throw it in the recipes. pretty good. I have been trying to mask irish cream to get only that thick creamy part. actually pretty easy and really good.

I've had my v4+ since early July, and my 2 SlowTech ones for a little over a month. I might actually like the SlowTech ones better than the legit v4+. They have the smaller deck, are easier to fill, and wick perfectly. The smaller deck = smaller chimney = slightly better flavor as well. Bottom fill doesn't bother me at all. I bottom fill my Kayfun as well.

Could be fun. Many I've been to are...... dunno, I like the idea of them, but I like the atmosphere here way better. I mean I walk in to look around at a new one recently... they start to show me all the ego batts. Thanks, not what I want, have one, a vv3 and MVP, I make my own juice, I seriously just wanna look. I guess I look like a soccer mom to those guys, though.

That came out soooooooo wrong. We need vape shops that are as cool as Guy with employees that cater to any and all needs. I've just had mostly bad experiences with the ones here. All but 1, so far.

Only tried four different in my area. Two had managers/staff that were great and fairly knowledgeable. One won me other by wanting to taste my DIY and commenting "really excellent." Obviously they really knew their stuff! ;) Third knew almost nothing though had particularly attractive staff :D -- seemed more focused on bongs, pipes, and such. Last was cigarette shop offering an ego line and gahd-awful juice. Fairly knowledgeable about ego's but clueless about juice.

oh man just imagine if we were all in on a vape shop. would be so badass lol. I was at a shop one day and was looking at a mod. the dude didnt even know anything about it so I said can i just fire it and see if i like it. so he got it out of the case and struggled to understand why he couldnt put one of his iclear 16 samplers on the mech mod and I said to use my tank. well it wouldnt fire. I said it still needed the battery in it. dude puts the battery in upside down. I stopped him and said nevermind, there is only 2 shops in town i would trust here. there is a vape shop on every corner but none of them are good.

there's a lot of head shops in brighton selling junkie gear and trying to branch into the vape market. but they don't know what they're selling. i guess they must just contact a seller "in the know" who offers a list of recommendations. i bought my first dripper from a head shop but the guys selling it couldn't answer any of my questions. and 2 months ago they we're selling the innokin mvp for $162!

ya same stuff here. one shop sells decent priced clones and then there is this high end store. way to pricey for me but those dudes know what they are doing. Ill go in there to say hi and day dream and look at all the new stuff . I started going there in the beginning for juice before DIY. they have super good juice. I dont really buy anything from shops anymore, when I have to educate the employees its really not a fun experience lol.

i know exactly what you're saying @wllmc. it's a discussion you see everywhere now. thing is, if i go into an electrical shop or even a supermarket the staff are helpful and know what they're selling, you know lol

There's a "bob n sue" b&m here and the guy is so experienced but has no time for vapers. and leaves the juice and ego selling and stuff to his snotty wife. i took my best friend their hoping she'd get a good experience and it left me embarrassed. if they ever join this forum i'll shame them. there's also a totally wicked b&m here and I know t/w never get a good press in vape forums (in fact the don't even get press) but they're really clued up, got a nice comfy sofa and you can hang out in there and try their juice without any obligation to buy .. cos they know you'll buy eventually ;)

the shop here ..... Jvapes lounge ...... hope I can say that. anyways this place is sweet. huge. they had one shop and bought the building next door, tore the wall down and opened it all up. couches and tables. TVs. they do cloud competitions , vape meets. they will build your coils or drill your drippers. they sell boiled organic cotton ha. I could go on. the best experience for new people. wish they were all that way. I think a lot of potential vapers might not go all the way if they have very many bad experiences in the beginning. when I was green and walked in it was like heaven lol. I was hooked on vaping that minute. the staff all know whats up. very friendly and probably 100 flavors and none are bad.

What turned me kinda off about the one I went to recently was they had a HUGE selection of juice, HUGE, several authentics and very little else. I'm not into the mech thing....... yet. Don't know that I will be. But, for mid level stuff, they really had nothing. OK, it's not a real turn off, but I don't wanna go in and throw $200+ at stuff I really know nothing about. Their ego batts had their own logo on them, it was a very basic and small selection. They had a vvv3, the rest was super pricey authentics. The store itself was beautiful.

I want a jvapes, then. One of the employees showed me a $200 mech, then shows me his own of the same. Said he was ready to sell his and move on to something else. I asked how much he was gonna ask for it and he said, $200.

ya heck ya its sweet. you can just go to hang out if you want and just talk and ask questions and stuff and actually learn about everything rather than getting a blank stare form some stoned kid that just started vaping 3 weeks ago . I go there all the time and buy nothing. lol.. i have taken a lot of people there tho. they have good ego kits for start ups. most places around here charge the same for that cheap stuff. so at least a new vaper can go in and get something good at a fair price and find a juice they can vape. the sample bar is the best :D . the mid range selection is kinda low but there are some. and the high end stuff is the best and you know its the real deal. ok rant over this is the FA club but i do love that place.

difficult question is "what is mid range?" vapers vary. i think it's hard for a vendor to cater for all possible needs.

but what is a mid range tank and a tub/box?
i suppose i consider myself to be mid range and i'll go for canas, IPVs, provaris - and kayfuns & drippers. another mid range vaper will say VTR and aero tanks/premade coli head stuff. so..

Yeah, we a a shit load of 1 ml syringes... Lol
I'm still on my first one..... And I nail polished it. :)

That's sucks. Time to vape some of that chai tea you weren't sure of ;-) or cinnamon.
