Crown coil questions

Help please. Have two Crown tanks being used on a Joyetech Cuboid and eVic mini. Juice is 80/20 vg/pg at 1.5 or 3 nicotine.

Question/Problem 1. Running the .25 or .5 SS coils between 30w and 40w. coils seems to burn out in 3 days or less. Even the ones that came with the tanks burn out quickly. The last one was put in this morning and was burned out 3 hours later. Everything is well primed and soaked at installation.

Question/Problem 2: Currently running the Ni200. Card says they are supposed to be .15 ohm. Both coils in two different crown tanks on two different mods show .21 ohms. Any explanation for this?

Question/Problem 3: IS it possible to change the temp reading on the cuboid from Celsius to Fahrenheit? Every bit of info I read about TC setting is in F and I'm too damn lazy to do a conversion.

Thanks for any insight and advice.

I'm not sure about the Cuboid questions as I've never used one.

But as for the crown question, I would suggest lowering the VG of your juice. Lower it to 70/30 vg/pg and that might help with the life of you could. 80/20 liquid is mainly for drippers.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Figured out the Celsius / Fahrenheit question. While in TC mode press the plus button until it gets to 315c and then it will switch to Fahrenheit. To go back to Celsius repeat until it maxes out.

I use the 0.25 coils all the time at around 60 watts in power mode. They don't last long - I may get 30mls out of them but not more!

With Ni200 coils, be sure to lock your resistance (if the mod allows that). Nickel does fluctuate.

I have locked the resistance.

Love my Crown tanks, but I gave up on the SS coils for the reasons above. The Ni200 coils just seem to work better and last longer, IMHO. If I ever have/get a DNA200 or most likely the new SDNA75, Ill try ss in TC mode again when I can work some magic on Escribe.

That's where I'm at. I like these tank and don't want to give up on them. Heck even ordered the RBA. Seems like a good time to learn that part of vaping.

I did this my last juice order, from 80/20 to 60/40 from V3 and my .5 ohm coils last way longer. I used to have to change them every 3 days and now use them for a couple of weeks easy. Also save your old coils they are very easy to rebuild...
