New Tank.

I bought the Joye eVic-VT 60W mod and it came with a ego-one mega tank. Witch leaks btw. I need help choosing a non leaking tank. I work hard labor and construction type jobs. I need suggestions on evic-VT 60w sub ohm tanks that wont leak when sitting in my pocket. Or sitting in the truck upright position. I like the look of the nautilus tank but need suggestions.

I like the Uwell Crown myself. Great tank and as long as you close the AFC when filling I experienced no leaking at all. Just look at www.uwell.com
This is an amazing tank even with the .5 single coil.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

If you want something that won't leak, you could look at the Cubis tank, and it now has SS BF Notch coils available. The notch coils are made of SS, so can be used in both Power and TC modes (I know the VT doesn't have SS mode, but it can still be used in power mode). The notch coils also require less power than a standard Kanthal coil, meaning you can use these even with lower powered mods without a long ramp up time either. SS is also wonderful for Vapor and Flavor production, and coil longevity.

In contrast to the Ego One Mega, the cost for the coils is roughly the same, and the tank itself is also affordable (they're made by the same company Joyetech). here's the different coils you can get:

BFSS316 0.5ohm/0.6ohm/1.0ohm

Stainless Steel 316 (Temperature Control or Variable Wattage Mode)
BF Clapton 1.5ohm
Clapton wire offer greater surface area resulting in increased vapor production.
BF Clapton (Variable Wattage Only)
NotchCoil SS316 0.25ohm DL (Direct Lung)
Stainless Steel 316 (Temperature Control or Variable Wattage Mode)
BF Ni200 0.2ohm
BF Ni200 (Nickel Temperature Control)

I second the Cubis. I had problems with my Nautilus leaking quite a bit (could have been my liquid, but still). Upgraded to the Cubis and I haven't had that issue again. It also has a RBA head, if you ever decide to try building your own coils.

In construction and labor, tank in pocket, maybe get a tank with a lot of metal and not much glass. The older Joye Delta 2 comes to mind. Often sold with the eVic before Joye came out with new tanks and the eVic Mini.

I bought the cubis tank specially because it will not leak. I can toss it in my purse and even laying on it's side or up side down it will not leak. I use the .5 ss coils in it and have the rba head also. I have it on an evic vtc mini so I can run it in temp or vw mode and run it in both depending on my mood lol.

If ur into MTL grab the cubis- I don't care for ego one tank it sits in my house.
I wil try it w my coil someday-
Using the cleito (don't leak) and crown (never leaked either)
Both worked fine w my ego VT (60 watt one that I lost) I loved that mod

I'd vote for the Cubis myself, 1.5 ohm Clapton for MTL, or .5 ohm for DL.
As long as you don't mind buying new coils.
Mine never leaked either.

The Cubis has an rba head now and the pre-mades are not that expensive about $10 on myvaporstore.com for 5 of them.

Tried the RBA head and it sucks for MTL IMO, as the airflow just isn't right.
Had high hopes for that one too, but gotta be able to rebuild so I can spend on new flavors instead:vapemail:

In my limited experience the Nautilus Mini is 100% leak proof as I have kept in laying down, upside down positions also in my pocket at times. (Safe because of the 5 push power switch on the iStick TC40w) Only drawback in the 2ML capacity but during working hours hard to chain vape.

If you are looking for MTL with the Cubis then use the clapton head, it is 1.5 ohm. All of the ss heads are 1 ohm or less, including the rba. IMO the ss heads for it were meant for DL. Try it again with the clapton head, you might be more satisfied. :)

I did like it with the Clapton best, but I'm just not willing to keep paying for new coils is all.
It's great for those not wanting to rebuild tho.

Yes, since I got my griffin I haven't really been using the evic mini/cubis setup much lol. I am really loving my griffin. I haven't tried the rba for the cubis yet though.

Hey OP, what we need to know is whether you're looking for mouth-to-lung (cig-style) or direct-lung (big clouds) performance. Personally the Crown is my all day, every day tank and has been for months - but I can leave it in the truck or sitting somewhere away from the work portion of my jobsite (I do general apartment turnovers and maintenance). No leak issues, but if I had to constantly pocket my mod I'd be looking for something with more metal and less glass.
