It has been so much easier to put down cigarettes with vaping then with the nicotine patch and nicotine inhaler. So happy that vaping exist. I tried ecigs but they cost to much and gave up on them and continued to smoke until I found a $16.99 rechargable, refillable vap pen. So glad I did. I know I don't need to smoke anymore and I'm very happy. Thanks for letting me share., Rob

Welcome and congratulations on becoming a former smoker. I hope you enjoy your stay on the :vu:

Isn't it a great feeling when you say you quit?

I helped convert one at the Vape Shop today and have 2 on the fence out in Illinois ready to become former smokers.

You are doing great - I dual used for over 2.5 years before I finally quit smoking completely

I guess you could call it dual use I just call it I was kidding myself saying I was cutting down! The only time I did not smoke was in my new truck but smoked the left over cigarettes before getting in and after getting out. Still was a pack a day just smoked more at one time.

Yeah the guys Mom wanted to hug me because my input made him buy the gear and he said he hopes to see me here at the vape shop. I told him Al has my number!

I grew up blocks from Shea Stadium and saw the Mets Win the 69 World Series at the Stadium which is gone now. I also used to play in the Worlds Fair before it got so run down and unsafe like it is today.

Congrats. It gets easier as time goes. I've found myself getting more excited for buying juices and coils than buying cigarettes.

Congrats. I quit last October with an istick and sub ohm tank after a,few weeks of dual use-smoking and using higher ohm pen. Never looked back once I tried the sub ohm tank. It does get easier over time. I've stepped down to 3 mg nicotine. I get a bit cranky when I can't vape but I do not get the urge to smoke at all anymore when I get stressed. Continue to celebrate one day at a time. ; )

I have started stepping down to 1.5 MG. Have a Baked Cinnamon Roll that I vape in the AM at 1.5 MG. It definitely can be done.

I have 18mg and 9mg. I just bought 9mg yesterday and am hoping to start using it at the end of this week coming. I still have about 4, 3ml eliquids left of the 18mg, gonna use it up.

I started cutting down by mixing in my tanks with 6MG and 12-18 MG. Then I started DIY and was throwing in some of them with 3MG. With DIY you can vape so much more so I figured was best to cut the Nicotine down right from the start.

Do any of you's vap without nicotine? I was thinking about if I'm gonna continue to vap after I cut the nicotine. I think vaping is really cool and building coils and stuff was something that interested me, DIY E liquid too but I don't know what the future is gonna bring. I was just a noob 2 weeks ago and learning stuff fast.

Working 1.5 MG in from my 3 MG. Slow and steady is how I proceed.
I may slow down to after the 9mg to a lower mg and stay there a few months. I want to get some time behind me off the smokes and shouldn't really rush quitting vaping I guess.

I have no plans on giving up vaping I receive more pleasure from vaping than I ever did smoking. Going to no nicotine is possible but not 100% sure I want to. I might have some Zero and some very light of that same DIY's e-Liquids. I do not know yet but just being able to not need the nicotine is a great feeling. I have only gone short periods of time so far and i will let you know when I go a whole day without. That will be a true test.

I kept 6MG and 18MG of the same flavor around when I started cutting down and mixed as needed. Started off low if I needed a boost I added some to the tank so the 6 I turned into a 9 or 12. Depended on how much I added or filled the tank.

Right on, good idea.

Still have some 18 MG sitting here. Stopped using it. I could get a nicotine rush I guess if I wanted!

That what I was doing but have not added any of the 18MG to a tank in a long time. Only a couple of ML left.

I don't know what I would do with that 18mg then, I guess just store it or give it away to someone. If your at 1.5 mg I'd never risk going back up, you're doing good!
