If you all are not aware, we took a major hit today as E cig regulations were approved. This could potentially lead to the end of vaping. So if you havent taken action then you need to do it now. This petition needs 100k signatures in 30 days (effective May 10th so by June 10th). Share this on all your social media, email it, post it, whatever you gotta do. Also if you are not a member of CASAA then visit their site and join (its free) and send legislators emails and phone calls. CASAA already has pretyped letters you can send to your state legislation as well as Obama himself. If you have been sitting back thinking everything will be fine then you need to do these things if you wanna keep vaping.

Thanks for sharing this and I have signed and verified my signature.

But in addition to we vapers signing this, what we really need to do is get our friends and loved ones involved and ask them to sign in support of us. And then even go so far as to ask them to reach out to their own extended families and ask them to sign and then send on to others.

We have done a lot of petitions over the years for ecigs and now today it seems it makes no difference, they will do what they want to do, but I have signed and confirmed the petition on the hope it might make a difference.

All we can do is what we can do... if that makes sense. In the end lawyers are going to be what it takes and this is going to be a never ending battle. But the more our voice is heard eventually it may make a difference. I do know this.. sitting back and doing nothing will not help anything. Kudos for signing tho.

Pick up a pen/pencil and write letters. Let politicians know, every single fucking one of you, that you are a single issue voter. Call every god damned person of even the lowest importance's phone and bitch at them until they hang up. If you're rich fund a $5,000,000 study on the health benefits of switching from smoking to vaping. If you're crazy run into the FDA headquarters and start annoying everyone there every chance you get. Don't limit yourself to just petitions. I know signing the petition makes you feel like you did SOMETHING, I'm also not saying we shouldn't sign them because the mentality of "I shouldn't do this because it's pointless" is a horrible one to have right now. Just don't limit yourself, do every single fucking thing you can if you want us to make it.

I understand your frustration but sitting back doing nothing can 100% guarantee, as you so politely put it, ''isnt going to do a fucking thing.'' If everyone had that same attitude then we can be assured nothing is going to change. What we need is CASAA and these smoke free organizations to come together along with local B&Ms and other companies to put together a fundraiser to help pay for a lawyer team. It wouldnt take much if everyone came together and contributed to put together a team of top notch lawyers because in the end that is what we are going to need. This is going to be a long drawn out seemingly never ending fight but I do think we will win out in the end... at least I hope so.

IDK, we also have some science behind our cause too. I'm in the Northern Virginia area and the FDA is just 50 miles away.

Does anyone have the smarts to figure out where this benefits taxpayers wallets? Reduced healthcare costs?

Ive done everything you've mentioned multiple times already...except the fund, Im no where near rich..and being annoying poses no benefits...you will just be dragged out of the building.

The one thing we shouldnt do is overdo it. We dont want to give the wrong message. The best thing to do for right now is relax, enjoy your vape, and keep your eyes and ears open to whats going on and what part you can play in it. Right now we should all be spreading the word... as in letting your friends, coworkers, relatives, legislators, and anyone else you can know about the positive effects of vaping and your experience(s). But dont freak out.. just chill and stay aware. We will make it through and be alright. :)
