Yeah, I know what you mean. My woman got me a little plastic drawer cabinet type deal, I try to cram all my stuff in there; but it doesn't all fit and I forget to use it a lot, haha.

There's a couple of items not in the picture but in total it was about 150$ with all the equipment, 38 flavours and 1L each of PG/VG.

Hey Scy123 - I'm scouring the Net now looking for the best DIY supplier for base liquids in Canada. They seem to fit the bill! I see you say you have no complaints - I just want to clarify: is their nic nice and smooth, as is flavorless and without that peppery feel some nics have? I'm not a big fan of harsh throat hits. Also wondering how quickly they deliver.
If anyone else has experience with them and wants to chime in, I'm all ears. Thanks!

Well, I placed my first order with The Broke Vaper - 1L PG, 1L VG, and 240 ml of 48 mg nicotine. Got 10% off using the code Canadian DIY. Just over $80 with expedited shipping, with a 4-5 day delivery estimate - I'm assuming that's working days, of course, so I'm anxious to see how quickly it will arrive. I should save a ton of money this way - I had been buying my DIY supplies locally at $10 per 250 ml bottles of PG and VG, and $15 for 50 ml of 48 mg nic - yup, this will cut costs in a huge way!
Next order of business: checking out ECX for flavorings. Wheeeee!!! (...and that's where all my savings on base costs will go, no doubt. lol)

**Update! When I got home last night, I had an e-mail from The Broke Vaper (thebrokevaper.ca) stating that my order was complete, and it also contained a tracking link to my parcel that's en route via Canada Post. Wow, that was fast! They did their part without wasting a second - the rest of the waiting-game is down to CP. Super impressed! I'll most definitely be ordering from them again, so long as their goods are good, of course. The price was right too: $15 each for the 1 liter bottles of PG and VG, and $40 for the 240 ml bottle of 48 mg nic. Not bad at all!
Yeah CP has been slacking hard the last little bit. I had an order that was 2 days late come in, well I got an email saying it was at my post office saying it was ready for pick up so I went there for them to tell me it won't be there till tomorrow. Let's hope it's there today. When I called CP they said its cause they are currently back logged going thru and storing all the mail that was headed for Fort Mac. My second order I got shipped by Fedex and it was here in 2 days, it only cost an extra $5 over CP expedited shipping.

Geez, if CP keeps it up, it would be worth the extra few bucks to go with Purolator, UPS, or Fedex if they're options. Of course, with everything happening in Fort Mac, I can understand things being chaotic at CP right now. 
In my opinion the extra $5-$10 is well worth it to get it quicker. My order came from lower mainland to edmonton in 2 days from the time I ordered. Can't complain with that

VAPE MAIL!!! ...arrived yesterday from The Broke Vaper, a day early according to Canada Post's estimated delivery date. To refresh, I ordered 1 liter each of PG and VG ($15 each), as well as 240 mls of 48 mg nic in VG ($40).
The PG and VG each came in 1-liter cylindrical bottles, and the nic came in 2 smaller cylindrical bottles, presumably 120 mls each.
Everything fit neatly into a smallish box which was insulated with heavy packing apper, and well sealed with tape. There were no leaks.
I have yet to open any of the bottles, so I can't speak with regards to the quality yet, but all the reviews I've read have been positive. The nic is nice and clear - colorless - waaaay lighter than the nic I've used to date, so I'm quite anxious to see if it's as lovely and smooth as I imagine it will be. I'll update one final time after I've had a chance to mix with the goods. So far, so good!
New supplier that was brought to my attention. I believe they are in BC. Good price on nic and fair price on shipping. I have not tried them myself......Yet.... But always good to have extra suppliers just in case.

I'm super happy with the nic from First Choice, got the 100mg and it's very clean tasting. Just got my third vapemail so to speak. Gonna throw it out there again for anyone in the Edmonton area, FlavourFog has good prices and can help save money for delivery. I put an order in and picked it all up the next day in spruce grove.

I was wondering the same thing after I had a look. Found this on as a response to a question on how to use it in mixing:
"I don't use the ta diluted as the sole tobacco in a mix. Rather I use it as a tobacco flavor strengthener.
For a strong tobacco I'll use 12 - 15% seedman commercial cigarette concentrate, then add 4 drops of the ta diluted per 10 ml of final eliquid volume. A mellower tobacco would add 2 - 3% of a hazelnut flavoring, and cut the ta diluted to two drops per 10 ml.
The exception is for a couple of mild flavored tobaccos. I use what tpa sells as tobacco blend, which is a ta/ethyl maltol mix. 8 - 10% tobacco blend and 8 - 10% natures flavors vanilla or a fruit."
I guess it's just a rather dangerous-sounding (treat as poison...???
) tobacco flavor.
I have no idea, I don't use it and never will. I believe that is nic that is extracted in some fancy way from The tobacco plant. To pricy for me. Some people swear by it and say it is just like the real thing.
Anyway I was more interested in the nic and it's price and shipping. They don't carry anything else that I would be interested in. Maybe in time they will have more stock and choices??

I will say, that was the only thing that concerned me about The Broke Vaper: that the bottles weren't wrapped in plastic or bubble wrap, or some type of leak-proof protection. Luckily nothing leaked, but if the box had been dropped somewhere along the way, it could have - and that's a scary thought given that it contained concentrated nic liquid. Kind of a rather grievous oversight, come to think of it.
Everything else about them is awesome: price, selection, speed of delivery, customer service, awesome product (finally tried mixing some up and it's A1, perfect, lovely bases and nic) - there's just this one glitch to do with under-packaging. I'd honestly hate to see them lose business because of it, but I'd hate even more for a customer, or a delivery person unawares, to get accidentally poisoned by a broken or leaky nic bottle.
After seeing the super-sealed packages above, I felt like it was important that I at least mention it here. I'm pretty sure they're a relatively new company, and are bound to have a few wrinkles to iron out, but the more thought I give it, the more shocked I am that bottles only had thin plastic "seals" (squares cut out of plastic) placed over the bottle tops before the caps were screwed on.
Should I make a friendly suggestion to them that they seriously consider protective packaging? My conscience is screaming at me to do something about it now.

Hey, submoa - just wondering how long it took for your order to arrive from ECX? I see you're in Montreal, and I'm in Nova Scotia, so I imagine it might take a day or two longer to get to me. Just trying to figure out a rough time-frame, as I'm much less patient waiting for packages when I don't know how long I should expect to wait. If I have at least half an idea, I can usually sit tight though. lol
And no problems getting the nic across the border for you - what luck! I wonder what percentage gets through vs stopped? Also, how do you find the quality of their nicotine? Have you tried their PG and VG as well? Sorry if you've already answered all these questions...I didn't read through the whole thread.

A leaking nic bottle could cause them a lot of grief from the buyer to the people handling the package in transit, not to mention the law and maybe law suits. If any liquid is in an air tight sealed bag and it leaks you have a 95% chance of recovering it with no loss. I would not have been a happy camper if my liquid was not in a sealed bag. I would certainly not order from them again.

So Bobx, what flavors did you order and what do you plan on making? I myself made a pretty good Kanzi clone so far plus a few other simple flavors. Still trying to get one that is close to Fa-Q Green Party, almost there but not quite right yet.

None the less I have heard that they have a special way of sending and the odds are good you will get it. Another thing I have read is when you have any thing shipped, from anybody, from the states, chose the cheapest and slowest shipping possible. The odds are better in your favor.
Now as for the Quality of the nic, I would like to also hear what he has to say??
I need to get a bottle of NIC to stock up and the price is good at ECX, but I am to chicken to take the chance. The nic plus shipping and exchange on the money (not counting tax) is just under $100. Excellent price nun the less but that's a little steep to just loose at the boader.
I am totally FA and totally tobacco. I think I have every tobacco flavor DIY-ejuice stocks now. Plus some things to make mild sweat and nutty vapes, but still working on that LOL. Getting there but nothing to right home about.

I am not into fruits and candies and cakes. Just tobacco and I keep it very simple. One or 2 ingredients maybe a third. But nothing so far over 5% total in a batch. IF I can't shake and vape then I'm not happy.
Sounds like we will have to talk more as I'm just getting into the tobacco flavors. I'm sure you got some good recipes. The hardest part for me when I quit smoking was now I have to look at a still fully stocked humidor and a half dozen jars of my favorite pipe tobaccos.

I'm a pretty big fan of the tobacco flavours too however I'm not having much luck finding a recipe I like (still have to try HIC's) . I had a bunch tossed into my first order. Found out I really didn't like Black honey and seven leaves.
I agree with not being to fond of the seven leaves. Got it and the max blend and they aren't quite what I'm looking for

Yeah, I can't see me *not* saying something - for the good of everyone along the distribution line, as well as potential innocents that might accidentally find themselves contaminated, and not even knowing with what.
I'll message them with the suggestion, and surely once they think about it, they'll start safety sealing the works. That was the first order I've ever placed for DIY supplies online - hopefully my next order, from wherever it may be, will arrive properly packaged. Fingers crossed that you can free up some mixing time soon!

That's pretty quick, I'd guess, especially coming from outside the country. I imagine customs slows things down a fair bit, probably sometimes more than others.
Yeah, they probably want to keep that info private - it shouldn't have to be a gamble though, ya know? Ticks me off that it is.
I wonder why choosing slow shipping seems to help with the success rate?

The cheapest for 3 liters of PG/VG/Nic 1 liter bottles is UPS Standard $40 !?
For one liter it's $26.50 so $40 for 3 Liters sounds about right. Have to keep in mind here that size and weight of package has to be taken in consideration.
Also don't forget the exchange on the money that your charge card will tack on.

Just to let everyone know I put in an order at First Choice Vapor on May 30/2016 http://www.firstchoicevapor.ca/default.asp for one lit Unflavoured Nic 100mg/ml and received it today June 1/2016. Two days not bad for Canada post. Of coarse I am only about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. LOL. The cost was $151.20 with tax and shipping was free. Well packaged in strong box, in sealed plastic and lots of bubble wrap.
Tested the nic with a nic test kit https://www.nikitest.com/ and it tests out at 96mg/ml. Close enough for my liking. I will consider it @ 95mg/ml when mixing.
Will try it out as a stand alone within a few days to see what it is like. Then in the freezer the rest will go.

And the precision of the tester is about +/- 3 or 4 percent isn't it? I'm curious to see what you think of their nic. I have provided a few DIY types samples of the nic I got there, and everyone loves it.
Actually it depends on the amount you are testing. This from the instructions that can with the kit.

>1ml ---- 2 to 4 mg plus or minus
>2ml ---- 1 to 2 mg plus or minus
>3ml ---- 0 to 1 mg plus or minus
I used 3ml and got the 96mg/ml reading. So thinking about it I will consider it to be 100mg/ml when mixing. 95 or 96 is not going to make a big difference and using 100 is going to make life easier.
I have a 5ml test batch of this, nic stand alone, and will try it in a couple of days.
You'll be happy with the nic. I got a bottle on 10mg stand alone for when u have a bad craving and its very smooth
