TFV4 Mini - All Smoke and No Play Help!

Hi Guys. Bought the TFV4 Mini last night and for the life of me I can't get that tank to work. Blows a ton of smoke but flavors are just dead. I'm just using the single coil rba that was given and I can't get the dual coil as easily. And I don't think I wanna use the premade coils too because I'm more into RBAs. Anyone else had this issue and managed to get around it?

I got it up to 70 watts on my RX200 but I don't love the tank heat after a few hits. Anyway last build was a 6 wrap clapton at 0.9 watts. Currently running back to my battle-hardened Kanger Subtank Mini because of this.

Unfortunately I have to say I to have been very disappointed with the flavor on the TFV4. Tried so many different build and the premade coils and the flavor isn't even close to my Triton 2.

I know right. I'm starting to think maybe the single coil rba just don't work as well as a dual coil rba that's selling separately.

I found that the dual was better but I still am left wanting more. I to haven't given up on it yet either cause it's a damn good looking tank lol

I second this. The flavor on two separate tfv4's was lackluster, put them away and never got them back out. If you want a good flavor tank the Arctic v8 mini is my all time favorite..and Ive had just about all of them

Very disappointed with the tfv4 mini. Had so much hope for it. Can't believe I still prefer my subtank mini after this! Not going to give up on this but I just ordered a genny Avocado 24 as well.

The tfv4 is good at what it was made to do..make clouds. I keep thinking about getting an avocado or theorem but I just can't make myself like it!

The triple clapton puts out very flavorful vapor, and a LOT of it. you can use SS claptons in either power or TC mode if you want.

Have any of you tried the Triton 2? When it comes to a pre built coil/tank it's still my favorite. I use the .2ohm playboy coils and love it still and the ceramic coils are damn good to.

Ive tried them, Ive used every tfv4 coil as of current and for me personally it just didn't do it. Im not big on clouds so Im particular about flavor. If this tank meets the needs you are after then it is good, but going for flavor I think there are better options. Good thing we have so many different choices to choose from!

Looks like I'm going to have to hit up the store and grab the triple. After the R1 and R2 plus the pre builds I was hesitant on going any further but hey what $10. Might as well try it.

I used the original, but never the 2, but it was a very good tank.

Only downside to the Triton 2 is and as bad as it sounds it doesn't come in black lol yet the mini does

I wrap my own claptons for it with some premade SS alien wire on a spool. Cheap too. Blows Kanthal Claptons away.

I'm not into prebuild coils cause I can't get more of them if it dies out cause it's not exactly kosher to buy vaping items where I'm from. This reason is why I buid my own coils. Short of buying the dual coil rba, I'm hoping someone has made the single coil rba a good flavor build.

3months hey that's awesome. Ive got claptons and fused claptons down pretty good myself, I try to always have a few ft pre made for my drippers that way I'm not always bringing my drill home from work cause the one I have at home even in slow it hauls ass to fast lol. Just need to pick up some more SS so I can make some of that cause all I have that's fine enough right now is k1.

So if you don't mind me asking, where are you from that it's not cool to go buy vape gear? Where I'm at I got 2 B&M stores within a 5 min walk plus a hand full of corner stores that stock the basics and juice.

Singapore. Where anything fun is illegal.

If I had a B&M around, I would spend my days there. Over here we have to rely on rogue individuals who bring in stuff from neighbouring countries and equipment from China and US. That usually means we have to pay a premium for it. I bought my TFV4 Mini for about USD50.

Coils, VG, PG and others are fine. Liquid nic, anything resembling an atomizer, coil heads or a mod, e-juices are a no no. You can try your luck and order it and hope the local post office doesn't send you a letter. First a warning then a $5000 fine or 6 months and second time onwards $10k fine and/or a year in prison.

Yeah the US is going down this road. Although I imagine your enforcement on this issue would be rather slack? Worst comes to worst, everything will go underground and cartels will go away from weed (legalization and shit) and go into the vaping industry.

Actually just get a drill, some fishing spinners, "resistance" wire and have at it. Clapton wire really is easy to make, first few times you'll mess up but then it just clicks.

Nah wires are fine. We have an online seller that sells everything that not illegal in vaping like flavors, alien and clapton wires, pre build coils. Just no atomizers, mods and e juices.
