Vaping

So I'm sitting here with corpse bones implanted in my head and vaping because it's easier to drag on than a cigarette. Broke a tooth in a clock accident. Started with ego-t stuff, dirt cheap Chinese, get the lay of the land then spend more money. I'm having problems and thought the tanks were going bad but now I think its the batteries. Better results when fully charged even with a well worn disposable tank. I think I need something with a power reading I can see and longer lasting power.

I know, I probably should have read more of the newbie stuff.

You have to check your atomizer also, they go out or get gunked up and it takes more power sometimes to get the burn going. Just a thought

I'm not sure if a pen will do it or if I need a box or if the boxes are just for people trying to cook merry wanna (not interested in that right now).

I know, I probably should have read more of the newbie stuff.

Like posted above, the coils that heat the nicotine liquid do get gunked up and go bad. How quickly depends on the liquid and the quality of the build when the coil was made. Even the same batch in the factory will have varying quality.

As for the batteries, eGo batteries start up with a decent vape but it quickly fades as the battery power is used. They make bigger eGo batteries with longer life, but if you're a heavy vaper, a box might be a better choice.

I was a two pack a day smoker. With a box that uses 2 rechargeable 18650 batteries (the most commonly used removable batteries for vaping) I can typically go all day without having to change the batteries. When I was using the same sort of equipment as you, I was having to constantly change the batteries.

The other benefit of a box is that it regulates the power so that you're getting consistently good hits throughout the day. It doesn't fade down until the batteries are close to dead. That is, as long as it's a regulated box. There are some boxes that aren't regulated, they're referred to as mechanicals. You would want one that's regulated, known as a regulated mod.

Some boxes you can plug in to recharge, other boxes you have to remove the batteries and put them into a standalone charger. If you get the kind with removable batteries, always keep them in a plastic bag or plastic box when not in use. If they get accidentally shorted out (such as by putting in pocket with coins or keys) they will explode. Be sure to always use a charger that's made to charge the type of batteries you're charging. Using just any old charger can also result in battery explosions or fire.

With a regulated mod, you can continue to use the disposable tanks or you can upgrade to some of the fancier tanks and drippers (drippers have no tank, instead you drip the liquid onto the coil and wick until it has plenty in it and then vape, re-dripping as necessary). Some of the fancier equipment is just as easy to use as what you've been using, others are more complicated.

Welcome to the Underground! @outwest has some good advice, for starters.

I, for one, am curious as to how badly things could go wrong as relates to a clock...

I am glad to be here. Was a bit discouraged by the mod who altered my title and post. "Medical vaping" had nothing to do with druggy things. I had a tooth extracted and a bone graft in preparation for a dental implant. Any sucking action pulls on the surgical site and even a cheap vape pen has a lighter draw than a cigarette. I'm using my lemon tooth to make lemonade by switching to vaping. I think it is an improvement in many ways over smoking. I have more questions that hopefully I'll be able to ask.

I'm a cigarette smoker and moderate drinker with no interest in drugs except curiosity about what sort of *****(Edited by a Mod) Smokie might be smokie-ing.
