I just mixed two meh mixes and got a superb concoction. I am not sure where I got the original recipe but in no way am I claiming it as my own
Cinnamon Vanilla Danish- its ok...a bit sharp on cinnamon for my tastes, otherwise a very good vape. I decided to let it steep.
5% Cinnamon Danish Swirl Cap
1.5% Vanilla Swirl TPA
1.5% French vanilla Cap
1.2 % EM
0.8% Joy FA
After 4 days...no change.
I mixed up a Nonna's Cake at 4%. It is meh...not a great stand alone yet. After 1 week still needs help.
ok so I take my nebox and fill it 2/3 with CVD and 1/3 NC and Sucrose....OMG....Really good!
I think I am gonna work on this and tweak it better....this is so good as it is! My little kanger brings out the flavor at 40w.

Just received my 150ml bottle of Nonna from NR. Mixed up 2, 3, and 4% small standalone batches to get a feel for the flavor. But, just taking a wiff from the bottle, boy does it reference something along the "pine" line! Very interested in seeing how it vapes (and hoping it's not another Joy situation! ).

How long have people found that Nonna needs to be steeped, standalone? I'm vaping the 2% I mixed yesterday. At this point, I'm curious to try the 3% tomorrow, and also to get an idea of how long people have been steeping their Nonna mixes. I'm kind of a shake and vape guy...

I need to play with Nonna's more, but from what I've been using I like it. Now the Joy on the other hand......... I have a 30ml bottle I bought when all the fuss was going around. It's still barely used. I could never get it to work in anything. Definitely not a fan.
Ya, I agree. I think I might have jumped the gun with my skepticism. The first quarter of a tank or so of the 2% 1 day steeped NC was a bit "piney," but from that point on it became a tastier "pine nuts" with some interesting cakiness. Vaping the 3% now, but think I need to get a fresh wick in with a clean tank to really do these tests properly. But all in all I'm having a much better experience that I had with Joy. We should get our 30ml bottles together for a play date, I'm sure they're equally lonely. lol
I thought about trying to add some TFA Champagne + Joy to see if I could get it to taste like a fizzy beer instead of a flat one

They've managed to stay in my daily rotation which says a lot because I'm always trying to create something new LOLThose look goooood.
I was playing around wanting to put the Nonna's cake to good use a few weeks ago and tried this:
TPA Banana Cream 1.5%
FA Marshmallow 2%
FA Nonna's Cake 2%
TPA Peanut Butter 4%
After a week steep I tried it and liked it, it had potential. 3 weeks later I tried it again and couldn't put it down. I only made 20ml so it's gone fast. It's definitely not a shake and vape, the alcohol in the peanut butter or something needs to settle down. I've seen some use banana cream much higher but to me any higher and it's all I can taste.
It has a peanut butter taste for sure with the banana in the background and really on the exhale. (more peanut butter on inhale). The marshmallow makes it sweet and somewhat creamy too. Nonna's cake really is the missing ingredient here to me. It's hard to describe but it's almost got that spice cake taste going on and those spice notes really make the difference.
I'd love feedback, but I also wouldn't look for feedback soon because honestly this really should steep for 3 weeks. I liked it after the first week and second, but after week 3 maybe it was just my tastebuds yesterday but I hated running out of it. It went fast. Give it 3 weeks. I'm going to go make some more.
For the record too, banana cream and the peanut butter have the "bad stuff" in them. (acetoin and acetyl propoinyl) Not sure how high, but it's stated it's there for those concerned.

Just nabbed some Nonna's cake for a try.
Mixed up some standalone and some HIC pineapple whippy to start with.
Standalone I'm getting notes of cinnamon and brown sugar amongst the cakeyness. First thing that came to mind is that it should work well in apple pie recipes.
The HIC pineapple whippy is the first time that I've tried FA pineapple. I was expecting more zest from the pineapple. Might add a bit of FA lime cold pressed to add a little zing to it as I'm a sucker for sour fruits.
Definitely some fun to be had here and I'll be pondering through the above for ideas.

So how do you make this cream tea? Do I mix any VG in with it? Or just make a tiny bottle with these three flavors?Nonna Cake titled recipes , its a trend now ?
Cornish cream tea seems to be a blend, description does not give out much but saying it has strawberry in it.
Wonder if FA UK would mind disclosing ingredients used and % on their blends

The recipe for Cornish cream tea, as well as a few other flavor concentrates, are on the FlavourArt website.
It really does work great with Lorann Cream Cheese Icing - 2% Nonna`s Cake and 2% Cream Cheese Icing is absolutely fantastic - my new all day vape - so simple yet so very effective.

I must add a disclaimer though.... about Lorann Cream Cheese Icing - it tastes so good especially with Nonna's Cake but I am not sure that is is safe to vape (actually I don't think any of us are 100% sure anything is safe to vape) but you know what I mean. It seems there must be a catch with Cream Cheese Icing simply because it tastes so good and has such a rich creamy real sugar taste.
The recipe I quoted tastes great but I'm not clear if Lorann Cream Cheese Icing doesn't contain huge amounts of diketones, so please vape at your own risk - I would hate to recommend a flavour to people that will damage their health. Does anyone know if it is diketone free?
I must say though it's a combination made in heaven - thank you Jimi D for suggesting it. It's a pleasant change not to have to mess about with multiple cream and custard concentrates to get such a rich, satisfying and smooth vape.
If you want an even more dairy, cream cheesy, rich and sweet vape try 3% LA Cream Cheese Icing and same 2% Nonna`s Cake. I can't get over how much that concentrate tastes like vaping real powdered sugar icing...

I really love the Cream Cheese. According to Loranns all their products are diacetyl free. I'm sure the CC has AP or Acetoin but I use it in small %. 2% is my max right now on this flavor as a adjunct.

That is delicious dude ! I mixed them both at 2%. The CCI lifted the lemon note as well. Tastes like a sweet lemon cake. Splendid job !

Yes, definitely enjoyable straight away but after just one day or more it amalgamates into something quite different, smoother and sweeter - it's as though the icing on top of the cake but has melted into the sponge a bit if that makes any sense.

I'm a new in DIY e liquid and I've mixed with FA Nonna's Cake in my recipe. But the taste/flavor is very light and there is a little bit alcohol smells and bitter in my diy liquid. Maybe anybody can help me and explain to me.

Right. I see the recipe I'm just confused about making the flavor only mixture. Do I put the ingredients in a 15 mil bottle with VG and then use this as the ingredient?

Here's a simple way to make a concentrate only mix. Just convert the percentages to ml then put in those amounts in your bottle without any PG/VG/nic. Then when go to use it you just add what the total percentage of all the flavors would be in the original recipe. For example say you have a 5% total flavor recipe:
2% flavor A
1% flavor B
1% flavor C
1% flavor D
So for the concentrate I would put in 2 ml of flavor A and 1 ml of each of flavors B, C, and D. That would give 5 ml of the recipe flavors only. To make a 15 ml bottle of only flavors just multiply by 3 in this example. To mix with the PG/VG and nic I would add 5% of my flavor concentrate to the base.

Just mix the flavors together by themselves, no other PG or VG. This mix in and of itself is a flavoring to be used at your preferred percentage or whatever percentage is listed in a recipe.
I mixed 4 of the recipes on this thread and they seemed pretty awesome shake n vaped and did a little variation of my own using some of the different recipes... shit is pretty amazing shake n vape (as per my taste buds), might have to mix a few extra batches just to watch it evolve cause I might kill this one by a couple days.

I find blackcurrant is best as an enhancer of my berry flavors... but I keep em all real light as I find berry flavors to be real dominant.
