I was eating dinner, then watched 2 of the 3 hrs of Person of Interest we have on DVR. I've been sleeping just fine, it's those goddamn motherfucking leg cramps that keep interrupting it! I swear to god, it makes me wanna amputate both legs! FUCKING THINGS! I even drank a great big glass of coconut water last night before bed, and it didn't help at all. I'm thinking more and more that it's not the potassium causing them, or not just the potassium, but maybe calcium. I'm past menopause, and I have EXTREMELY dense bones, so the usual borrowing from bones that causes osteoporosis in post-menopausal women can't happen very easily with me, because of my bones being so extremely dense. I gotta find some calcium supplements I can somehow get down, because taking horse pills just ain't happenin. Some of those calcium pills are as big as my entire thumb. :facepalm:

Get some of those smaller calcium + vitamin d supplements. They're not horse pills at all

I've never seen any calcium pills that WEREN'T horse pills. I even made a deal with my obstetrician when I was pregnant -- as long as I drank 3 gals of milk a week, I didn't have to take them. Because I have a hard time with freaking tylenol, so anything larger is NOT going down.

@AndriaD ...that is exactly what took my leg-toe-finger cramping away. Thought it might be dehydration, living in death valley.

After a week of Calcium-Magnesium-Zinc, no more muscle cramps. Give it a shot.

The pills I have are no bigger than a small aspirin. I bought them at CVS.

I used to wake up instantly, pain so ruthless I couldn't even walk it off....what a nightmare that was. When it first started happening I had it in my head must be dehydration, so I would take a salt pill, that worked too.

Talk about the power of suggestion. I checked the site and read this, and then went upstairs to do something, and I laid down for a second on the bed. Zonk. Just woke up at 2am, fully clothed. That's alright. The wife and dawters were all packing for tomorrows departure for their annual All Girls Week vacation.

That's right, Daddy has the joint to himself for a week. Music will be played very loudly, local restaurants will flourish, there will be gourmet cooking and very good wine will get consumed. Poker, swearing, shooting and various other shenaniganery WILL abound. Hey brudder, you rested yet?

What's difficult, is trying to find time to fit in all them shenanigans AFTER a day of motorcycling. My youngest is just a lil reluctant about this years trip. That new turntable came in on Tuesday, and she has been enjoying the new vinyls I ordered, and just starting to tear into my old collection. I have to admit, I missed the sound of vinyl way more than I thought I had. And I can't recommend that Pro-Ject Esprit highly enough. Besides being gorgeous and sounding like a dream, the wobbly, shock absorbing feet have not allowed a SINGLE skip when walking nearby, unlike my old Phillips 312.

Good morning and GFY, everyone! Wow, it does seem everybody, myself included was kind of wiped out yesterday. Actually slept through the night, only getting up once. We are expecting rain today and tomorrow, just hope it goes away by tomorrow evening. Heading out of town for a couple of days. I won't be getting a 3 day weekend as I will have to work on Monday, but at least we'll get out of here for awhile. And, looks like vape mail today :vapemail:. My Hohm Wrecker g2 is coming today! I have another Boreas coming, too, from Fastech, and it's in Chicago, or at least that's what tracking shows. The last time I got anything from them, it showed arriving in Chicago until it showed up in Austin. We'll see if it shows up unannounced. Hope you all have a great day!

b. No liquid of strength higher than this can be specifically mentioned or offered on ECF by Suppliers. Trade deals are exempt, within private supplier boards only, as higher strengths are needed for trade bulk mixing. Note that there are shipping restrictions in some countries for toxic materials, which can be obtained by application to your local Postal Service and private shippers, and you are cautioned not to contravene these restrictions.
c. Suppliers can sell whatever strength they wish with the exception of pure nicotine (900mg/ml / 90% and above). Sites that sell pure nicotine will be blocked by ECF [3]. We define 'pure nicotine' as 90% / 900mg/ml or higher. Wholesale supplies are exempt from this ruling. We expect that Suppliers will ensure that wholesale customers are well aware of (a) the high risks, and (b) the equipment and precautions needed.
d. There is a limit on public discussion of 200mg (20%) maximum for mixing discussion, recipes and tutorials, and also in the Classifieds. Members may not discuss the use of refills (any liquids) stronger than 200mg.
e. The use of 'Pure Nicotine' cannot be discussed (in detail) on public forums on ECF (trade forums are exempt) due to the hazard [1] - see Notes below. That is to say, it can be mentioned in passing but not discussed at length especially as regards mixing.

I got in "trouble" for talking about pure nic also. Got 4 emails detailing my evil ways, until I finally just replied Fuck Off and get off my back. Was expecting to be banned, but nothing was done. That was several months ago but it prompted me to start looking at other forums and luckily I found VU. And the pile-on rat bastards over there just hammered me in that thread. There was a core of half a dozen or so chickenshits that would jump in to back up their buddies if their Gospel like views were ever questioned. I also see that some of those turds are over here now.

I think dehydration is part of it, but I don't notice that too much, until it gets so bad that my electrolytes are involved - sodium/potassium/calcium/magnesium. Mostly, drinking the coconut water helps (VERY high potassium so it fixes the high sodium from my diet), but time marches on, and so does my age, and I'm thinking that now that I have the potassium issue more or less dealt with, now the calcium wants its turn.

This morning, I had just one very small cramp, causing my toes to curl upward but not really painful -- last night before bed, I had TWO glasses of my choco coconut water/choc milk, but instead of my usual 80% coco water and 20% choc milk, I went more like 2/3 coco water, 1/3 choc milk -- so it may be the extra calcium that made the diff.

I wouldn't enter CVS if they were giving away free money, asswipes and their stupid "we're BP so we hate vaping, so we'll call it tobacco and forbid it even in the drive-thru line". But I'll check around. I've noticed that in recent times, calcium is available in "candy" type things, so maybe I'll find something like that.
