Actually like the look of the hotcig dx, still DNA 75, and 26650, but smaller than the VT75 ;)
Where where? Just sold my Wismec 100 I need to hoard on a 26650 DNA
Link please

Nope it doesn't, led goes red to say it is charging, and battery meter shows strike sign to say it is charging, but it isn't, last try was with a 18650 battery, was half drained, left on charge for 24 hours, still red led, take off charge and still only half, and got from vapenw as such a good price, and we know how they are with returns, so now got to live with it, or time to buy something else, like I need a excuse :giggle:
Just curious. Do you have a 26650 to try in it? Did you make sure the center screw in the battery door was screwed in using the 18650?

Yes had 26650 in it to start with and yes center screw was screwed in for the 18650, both was used in the device before tried charging them in the device.

Can you send it back? Just for shits and giggles I plugged mine in this morning on my computer at work (I usually charge externally). The battery was only about 1/3 the way down, but it definitely filled it up and charged OK. There must be something wrong with yours or there is a setting in escribe that isn't right.

It's really sad sigelie went this route the last sig I bought was the OG 150 and they still selling 70-100 bucks
I guess the market go too saturated,
Like I said they need to adopt the DNA
DID you guys see the vt75dna?? 70-80 bucks, give me very good reason why I should consider the 213 over the vt75?

@ej1024 , I'd get the VT133 for the same price at Ecig.com (with the coupon code). Dual 18650, DNA200 chip (133 watts because it's only using 2 batteries). I have 3 and they all work great. Battery life is great as well - I get well over a full day out of them.

Cheers,
Steve

I vouch for that VT133. It's my favorite DNA.

Not really, I used vapenw and they suck at returns, after 48 hours, you have to pay shipping and they deduct 20% restocking fee, I did send them a email last night, and they replied today asking to explain the problem, even though I already did and also asked for pictures of the problem, how am I meant to show pictures, it shows it is charging, but it doesn't, so guess I am just going to have to live with changing out batteries, I knew the risk with vapenw, but thought I would be safe with the HCigar with DNA board, my own fault :gaah:

If they won't help you out, just open up a ticket with Evolv. They have great CS and will take care of you. My understanding is you would have to pay shipping to them and they would pick up the return shipping (Happily, I've never had to use their warranty service). They might even have a suggestion if there is a setting that might take care of the problem. Good Luck!

Cheers,
Steve

Edit I would hope VapeNW would offer you an exchange without a 20% restocking fee. If you haven't already tried, I would just call them and talk to them about the problem. I find most places to be reasonable when you are talking to them directly

I'm trying to understand this mod. How does TC work? I set a temp and time period, then it drops off hard. Like 40 for preset time to 3 or 4 watts. Can the power it uses for wattage in tc be set manually or does it figure the wattage for set temp?

I got one the other day, and my first impression are that its bigger than I initially thought it was gonna be, and the gold isnt a nice shiny yellowy "gold" gold, its more a matte brass kinda color, like a really dull watered down kind of gold. Kinda disappointing, but whatever.

I havent delved deep into the mod, just kept it in power mode so far. But right off top one thing I didnt like is how the (im guessing) the battery voltages keep jumping around. I do however like that it does give you independent battery voltage levels as well as the battery bar, and the fact that it shows you the amps youre pushing out (not that it really matters on a regulated mod). And I guess if Im nitpicking, the buttons are pretty stiff as well.

As far as cosmetics go though, it does look pretty sleek and sexy (especially with a black and gold Boreas on top). The form/hand feel is pretty nice too, so I can dig it. All around, it seems decent (negating the TC/TCR mode as I havent tried it yet). Almost $80 decent? Meh, I guess if you really want one it is, depending on how well the TC works it could be if youre into TC.

Oh and another gripe I have with it is the 510 "plate" for lack of a better term is sized to fit a 22mm atty so using my 25mm Boreas on it is causing some scratching/rubbing on the top piece of the mod (in my case, the gold), which Im sure will eventually wear down into the metal and be ugly using anything smaller than 25mm.

image.jpeg image.jpeg I actually like that it's more of a brass colour than gold, the screen has information overload including amps, and it's crazy small to boot.

I prefer to keep my Boreas on the RX200, they are kinda (mad) made for each other

Ive got a Boreas on my RX200 too, I just bought the second one for the 213. Now that I got the RX200S I guess I gotta get a third one lol.
If you're going to get a 3rd get it at eciggity today. They're running a sale code Boreas.

Some rep from Sigieli went nuts on Daniel from Djlsb Vapes. Cursed him out and threatened to sue him. They're a fucked up company that hasn't put out a decent mod since the 150. Canceled my 2 Fuchai 213's that were on pre order after seeing Daniels real review. Sigelei can go Fuchai off.

I actually like my 213 mod. I dont take it outta power mode (got a DNA200 and a HWG2 for temp mode) and it works fine, and whatever problems you might have with it, you cant deny that this looks damn good.

I get it, it's a great looking mod but who cares if it doesn't perform as advertised.

Depends on what you want I guess. If you wanna vape at 200 watts with accurate temp control, then yea, youll probably think its a piece of shit. If you dont cruise outta power mode and know you aint goin over 150 watts, then its a really nice mod.

Not really. I'm not trying to be difficult but when a company puts out a mod that doesn't do what it claims that's shady. I can live with the 150w thing. Sig is not the only company that does that. I still don't like it but I can live with it. Not being able to do tc properly, resistance problems, not being upgradeable, and then putting out the same mod that you claim is fixed. Those are disgusting business practices. I'm not even going to bring up the whole Djlsb Vapes thing. Basically what Sig did was screw all its customers and sold them a regulated mod that only performs on par with tech from 2 years ago. In my book that's just not cool.

Its not cool, its a shitty thing to do. It sucks for the poor saps that pre ordered it out the gate for $100+ with all the promises made, but really, this kind of shit has happened so many times in the vape industry its basically buyer beware at this point. Its just a bad bad bad idea to pre order any mod or getting it without reading up on it first. It sucks, but thats the way it is.

But for me, I got my 213 for about $70, and for what I use it for its perfect and it looks and feels amazing, so Im happy as hell with mine.

I am just getting the Fuchai 213.....errrrr....... 155 for the form factor and lightweight knowing that it does not do great with TC and is not upgradeable is ok for the $47 with a free pair of LG batts for me. Daniel did mention that the build quality is really nice and since I am only going to use it in power mode and average around 60 watts it's a great road mod for me. Really when I subtract the price of the batteries it is not a bad deal for about $40.

They do suck though and I would be fine if Sigelei goes under for being shady fuckers.

Why not? Its not like you need them to stay in business in order to get your upgrades. Lol.

Lol, exactly. I would be nervous as well to send it in for a warranty fix, figure I will just lose money on postage and never see my mod again.

pioneer 4 you is another company who is shit with upgrades, were is that software we are supposed to have for the IPV5 to change the screen and what not. The only upgrade we got was 3 months ago for the POS Pure X tank.

I probably won't have to worry much about new mods anyway, I live in the Socialist Republic of California and a lot of vendors aren't shipping here anymore. The Governor here is the biggest piece of shit ever.

I think at present time a vast majority of updates on mods are unnecessary. Stupid high wattage, screen personalization, support for shitty tanks with questionable heating elements, fucking flappy birds for crying out loud... I guess I should say they are of no use to me rather than unnecessary.

That hasn't been my experience especially with my Wismec mods. Some of the updates on those devices have made them dramatically better.

Oh yeah I agree, there have been some good ones, especially with Joytech and company. I just feel like as of late they have hit a wall.

i've had mine since the 213 came out and still love it. but i only use it around 60-80w mostly in power and SS316 mode. even tho the temp control isn't accurate per tests. i use it for my SS and i like it. i adjust my temps and can notice a difference and get a nice consistent vape.

as far as someone saying battery life sucking, i haven't noticed that. i suppose that would depend on what your build is. i'm getting great battery life using LG HG2s

Lol wait, theres a mod you can play flappy birds on? Which one iz that?

The eVic mini, i just tried it and didn't even know how to control it, never bothered reading the instructions further than how to start the game.

It is a great little mod though and they have issued a bunch of upgrades for it,

On the internet people are quick to get there pitch forks out when something gets reported as not working right. I keep hearing positive things from people who actually OWN the 213 though including my-self.

I have had it for 3 days and the SS TC has worked without fault on both the Super Tank Mini with SS Triton coils and the Avocado 24 with a SS 316L dual coil build. I have vaped the coil dry on both a few times and in the 3 days I have had it it has been in TC mode about 90% of the time.

The SS TC works a hell of a lot better than the RX200S, that mod tends to drop out of SS TC mode from time to time. I actually regret getting the RX200S, I would take the Fuchai 213 over it anyday.
