Sounds like a good little mod , still needs to be proven over time though which it is not. I can't get over the looks of it though , just doesn't work for me .

I'll stick to my MVP's for now

I just got an email from VaporJoes that has a link for a $31.99 istick but when I went there (ebay) it was listed for $39.99. Wish I hadn't sent that link to a friend....

Don't forget, some of these come body only, no 510 adapter or charger, that's where some prices differ

Has anybody been able to vape anything under 1 ohm with this thing? I have an Orchid dual coil here sitting on a MVP vaping perfectly @ .8 ohm. If I put it on an iStick I understand it would not fire at all. Is that true? Any actual experience with high sub-ohm builds?

take a look at this tool selling the mod for $99 with a coil jig and mini nautilus (probably a clone)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181531652034

That's the one that was linked to already, and I bought from... was selling at a decent price earlier today!! What a dick move!!

EDIT: ahhh, subtitle now says "1st bath sold out. Next shipment arrives October 3rd".

@Thunderball, you might want to edit your post in light of that.

I just order two from Ebay.....same price as Vapor Tek with the code and no waiting until the end of the month, Says ships dailey by noon.

I got a blue one 3 days ago, and I have hardly put it down since. This IS the mod I would have designed for myself, and have been waiting for. Goodbye mvp, sid, vv3, and a boat load of egos. May hang on to the sigelei 20w since it is such a great self defense weapon. I am going to clear off all the crap off the coffee table except the Istick(S You can get one of these and 15 ml of juice for the price of a carton of Camels. Mines blue. The next one will be, too cuz well, I like blue.

GrumpyEd...your wife will LOVE the iStick. Especially if you are grumpy. haha

Can't wait to get my second one. But I also think the MVP is one superior device. Mine NEVER runs down. That's only a slight exaggeration. :)

I must be living under a rock. Totally missed this one until I got the VaporJoe deal alert via email. Looks like a pretty cool box mod. Gonna order one to try it out. I am down to two devices since selling my mechs. Need a few more so I am not constantly changing tanks and drippers. Was gonna just order a cheapo Vamo or SID. But I like this better. This one will work perfect with my Magma which I build single coil. And if I don't like it I will pass it on to my gf. She currently has an MVP and is using both of my VV 3.0's.

This is going to be a great item to carry out around town. Small, powerful and discreet. I wish they would quit coming up with all this new stuff. I have way to Many mods now. Protank 2 will fit this perfectly. Just ordered 2 today for 29.99. Vapor joe is killing me on the deals he sends out.

Got my Istick today and my poor walk around MVP2 is now designated to a new job, ride along in the glove box while vaping the Istick.
Mine didn't come with a charging cord so I used the one from the MVP and the nice thing is that the MVP is 2600maH and the Istick 2200maH so if you use the MVP charging port and the MVP cable you can recharge your Istick off the MVP and the Istick is pass through so indeed the MVP is now backup power for the Istick, Long live the old MVP and on with the new Istick, it's spectacular and so ergonomic compared to the MVP

Well thought I'd go ahead and get another one, from that Cool Breeze Vapors I posted above, it shows a tax to start but they have free shipping and tax was taken off and the total came to $59.99 for the full kit, wall plug, cord, ego connector, so all is all not to bad, these are just bad ass.
I love the firing button, so damn nice after using the MVP for ever and always having the corners of the MVP poking into my palm, this little shit is it for real, but as I mentioned the MVP is not out of the loop just re-designated to back up power supply and the glove box so I charge and vape with the MVP attached, damn great setup..LOL

To those that have the Istick, How is the battery life?

I never judge battery life by others usage. Before I got an MVP everyone raved about battery life. I barely got a half day on either of mine. My Vaporshark rDNA battery life isn't that impressive either. I can kill it in a day easily. All depends on your power, resistance, vaping style and how much you use it.

Been vaping a storm up on this little beast, quit impressive hardly dented the battery charge, can't find anything wrong with this device right down to the amount of pressure the button takes to activate and an audible click, did order a second one and they are getting really hard to find and China's on a holiday so pre-orders are going to be awhile.
The company I posted above has the complete kit and ya it's high especially when you look at pre-order prices, but it's also the complete kit unlike much of what is being sold including the one I just got that didn't even come with a charging cable.
One thing I noticed is this kit above comes with a 1 amp charging plug and the MVP charging cable I'm using now is .5 amp charging so this device will charge much quicker than the MVP ever did.
This company above was one I had never heard of and of course always makes me nervous but shortly after I ordered I thought I wanted to change the color I ordered and shortly after I contacted them I got a message from an Iphone and said it was done and asked my what MG of juice I'd like, thought well that's cool, so I'm pretty happy with this company so far.
I can't find another company anywhere with these devices especially with the full range of colors or the complete kit.
These ego adapters are another really great design, I used the ego adapter from this on some of my other devices that I had been using those old standard 510/ego adapters on and this one is so much better design and function, this device IMHO is the hit of the year, almost makes me think that it's not much longer for the mechanical devices, hum but I'll always love them that's a fact, they are art to me.

The MVP actually draws about 880mA when charging, so that power adapter you got with it isn't really enough, if it can only output 500mA!

I'll measure the iStick when it arrives.

I had never thought about that and well ya, thanks and you are right and I'd really be interested to know what you find out, it takes the MVP all night to charge always a pain waiting, usually plug it in go to bed and it's done in the morning, it's slow, I'm hoping this is much faster and bet it will be and thanks for that info on the MVP, can a 1 amp charger be used on the MVP? I'm not really that up on the power draws amps things of that type so your info would be really helpful to me.. Thanks

Re-read and I think I get what your saying, thanks, so I think is yes it can use a 1 amp plug and the MVP limits the draw??

One thing I noticed with the MVP is when you use a higher mA charger it does charge faster, but does not hold a charge as long. I tried a lower mA charger and got twice the battery life.

I've always used the same old ego wall adapter I started with like two years ago, and from the MVP1 thru 2 all my battery life was amazing and that's why it was and has been always my daily out and about power with my Aspire BDCs which I can hold about 8 in my first ego case, so it is was a great setup and and not to worry about the expensive mods, but this new Istick is a huge game changer.
I got it yesterday noon and it was fairly close to fully charged when it arrived so started vaping immediately and about 2 hrs later I decided to charge it and had to find a cord since mine came with none from Eleaf and they don't respond back it seems, not yet anyhow.
I tried the Clouper box cord the stretch out type it worked and then tried the MVP cord and used that to charge the Istick and it only charged for maybe 20 minutes and I've been vaping steady now since yesterday and I'm a chain vaper I suppose and just looked at it's at about 2/3rd full, that's darn good for 2200maH running anything from 1.6 to 2.7 ohms on Aspires, did run it up on some other RDAs but need to know more about what this will work with before I go running something that blows up my new toy, like does anyone know yet what or how low ohms wise this will go? I can't find any info yet, this thing is about like just holding an 18650 battery in your hand, what a huge game changer, just love this thing and stealth, friend was staring at me and thought I was being stoned stupid or something couldn't see the power in my hand at all and all he saw was my RDA on top of my fist and blowing clouds, really funny look he gave me..LMAOF, it is so amazing.

I am finding this battery to be incredibly efficient! I am getting a good solid 48 hours between charges and that is vaping at 12 watts with dual coils. Everyone will have different results, but at least this can give you a ballpark. Totally agree about that ego adapter! Best ego adapter I have yet to see. This will not go below 1.0 ohm, so isn't for sub ohming. For me, this device is just the bees knees! Couldn't be happier and have two more arriving on Monday! Can't wait.

Just picked up some new dual coils from MFS just now they have a killer sale for 2 packs of what ever at 40% off, saved a bunch and have one of those Peakomizers that takes most coils so will be trying those duals on this little bugger soon, if you need coils you might hurry to this place it's only for 2 packs of each type but a good deal and I stocked up http://gotsmok.com/myfreedomsmokes-fresh-vapor-sale/

Yep, the 500mA rating on the wallplug adapter is the maximum it's rated to supply. The charger is built into the MVP, and regulates the voltage and current supplied to the battery - you can think of it 'pulling' current from the wallplug adapter.

With the charger trying to draw more current than the wallplug's rating, the most likely effect is to make it output less than the 5V it's supposed to (alternatives include: working fine above the rating, shutting down, or getting hotter). So it's no surprise that charging takes longer. It shouldn't affect how well-charged the battery gets though, as long as it can still supply the 4.2 or 4.3V required to get the battery to full charge.

I got a glass david mini, now comes with 2 bottoms, one for Kanger one for Aspire heads

How is the draw on that mini david? Flavor decent? Would love to find the perfect atty/tank to go with the iStick! Evod 2 works very well on it, as long as the base is drilled out on the evod, but doesn't hold a lot. What is everyone using on theirs that they are happy with?
