I don't know why, but this just really pissed me off. I pretty much expected it...

CHICAGO (AP) -- Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan is urging the federal government to strengthen its proposed regulations for electronic cigarettes to include a ban on the sale of flavored products.
Madigan and 28 other state attorneys general submitted comments Friday to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on its proposed e-cigarette rules.
The FDA proposal is the first step toward regulating the battery-powered devices that allow users to inhale vapor from a heated liquid nicotine solution.
Madigan and the other attorneys general say flavored e-cigarettes attract children and teenagers to the products. They're urging the FDA to prohibit flavors other than tobacco and menthol.
They also want the FDA to make e-cigarettes subject to the same advertising and marketing restrictions as tobacco products.

Yeah, I'm out of here in about four years. As soon as my son is off to college, or at least is old enough to fend for himself.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Illinois either. Would love to move to another state. Maybe a state that has its sh!t together a little more. Non are perfect, but some way better than others.

People really piss me off sometimes....ESPECIALLY with regulations on something as simple as vaping.

Dang I'm a lil late to this thread as well. Come on Illinois! Pick it up in this section! :D

But yeah it's complete crap how they are doing this. They act like they care about the children, but all they care about are the money bags they're being paid by the big cigarette corporations.

The only thing any of these Illinois politicians care about is themselves and lining their pockets. Hell I don't even think they care about their own children because the bullshit they do will effect their children and grandchildren and so on down the line.
