Give me a week or so to check out the new process before you order. I think we have it figured out.

Fingers crossed. And no big rush. I would just need to be able to place an order and have it arrive by around the third week in July. Otherwise it would have to wait a couple months.

Hoping things work out. I just mixed up a few mls using the NicSelect I'd gotten from NR, after several weeks at least of just using you nic. Definitely a more perceptible TH/numbing of the mouth & tongue with the NicSelect, so don't really want to be purchasing any more of that.

Oh, and also, how long does it typically take to mix up and get shipped a gallon of nic, once ordered?

It's probably not new, but it's new to me, and I have to say I'm somewhat impressed.
The company is ChemNic and they're based in Greeneville, SC. I just got four 100mg samples from them and it seems to be pretty good. I'm not getting a chemical taste or any harshness, and it's very clear. Their prices are decent, $44.99 for a liter of 100mg, and I only paid $2.50 shipping for what appears to be 4ml samples. Try it out.... https://www.chemnic.com/Nicotine/Free-Nicotine-Sample
Teresa, thanks much for the information. Never heard of the company.

Regardless, with all the thumbs-up, I ordered a gallon....:)

That's definitely cool that you're able to do that, sounds like a great guy! I ordered nic in July once, fortunately it was only a small 60ml to try from a vendor I hadn't dealt with. Of course it got lost in the mail and by the time I got it with a heat index of over 100 here and ridiculous humidity, it looked more like someone had peed in the bottle. Will never make that mistake again....
I hear ya. I was meaning to order some more nic before the heat set in, but life got me sidetracked. Heck, I only just now put in my DIY flavor request with ChemNic, it's kept me that busy :( I might have to drive to Heartland's place since it's only 2 hrs or so away. There's better nic out there, but they're close by and what with the heat. . . What to do? *sigh*

Speaking of ChemNic's DIY, currently vaping their Fruit Rings. Can't decide if the next one I'll make is their Rocket Sicle *yum* or their Strawberry Kiwi. I've vaped their Ricket Sicle already and it was spot on (like the fruit rings) but haven't tried the strawberry kiwi yet, even though I've had it for a month and half.

edit to add - It's been decades since I've had a Bomb Pop, so can't say 100% for certain that it tastes exactly the same, but it sure tastes the way I remember them tasting.

Right now, I am only stocked up with "bold" nicotine that is ideal for my tobacco mixes, which are a big part of my vaping experience; it is less than ideal for dessert flavorings, however. Is this ChemNic comparable to, say, Vapors Tek or Nude Nicotine as far as being "transparent"? -I have decided to stock up on some "clean" nic and I am digging the price here! :)

Thanks for the suggestions. As I stated previously, we back fill our nicotine with argon. After seeing some of the issues posted here, I've been on a mission to find out whether or not there's anything more we can do. Apparently, while argon helps, it, in and of itself, isn't completely sufficient. As a result, we will be making a few changes in the next week. I will post once the results are in.
I would really like to order a gallon, but I am on the Gulf Coast and would definitely be interested in seeing an option to "cool ship".

I am extremely interested in nic of this quality for the excellent price. Gonna order a few samples. I would be interested in a "cool ship" option, too, as it is very warm in Michigan these days. If no reefer truck option exists, I will just wait 'til January. :)

Edit: Ordered three samples! :bliss:

Thanks for reminding me... I meant to order a sample last night and forgot. How did you order three? It said there is a limit of one per customer when I ordered mine just now.

It says the limit is one. So I ordered three. :) -I noticed the limit AFTER I placed the order. We will see what happens. Maybe I will get spanked; I dunno..........

Unfortunately, FedEx doesn't provide me with the option to add a cool ship. Perhaps I could contact them and work with their developers to obtain the option. Nevertheless, our new packaging process should resolve any issues resulting from the shipping process. As promised earlier, I will report my findings once available. I'm running a few experiments. I should know in a couple more days..

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of a packaging option myself. In a former life, I used to order vaccines from an online vet supply and they used what they called a "polar box" with ice packs for everything that was temperature sensitive... Worked great!

That's the same sort of thing a pecan candy place I buy from does for their pecan roca - packed with styrofoam and a cool pack. Another place I buy stuff from uses dry ice (can buy it in bags or in pellets). It all gets pricey, but. . .

The vet supply wasn't really that pricey... $4US for a small or medium sized package and $5US for a really large package. But, of course, they are a large supplier and were set up for that from the gitgo. I'm guessing that initial introduction for a small biz might be a bit more costly.

I can see it being more expensive than average, but I think it would be worth it (within reason) to protect the larger investment we have in the nic.

I'm very optimistic of the new process. I've had a 30ml bottle of 100mg sitting not in direct sunlight but, not in complete darkness either for about a week. It has yet to change colors.. Fingers crossed here..

ABSOLUTELY!!! They are already very reasonably priced, so a bit extra for an insulated shipment wouldn't hurt in the least. Saturday night cheers :vino:

:) -I received my nicotine sample(s) today. LOL, initially, I was shocked at the amber color of the 4ml glass bottles, only to find that the GLASS is amber, not the nicotine! I immediately mixed it down to 8mg/ml with 100%VG. When I drew the VG nic into a syringe to measure it, there was absolutely NO color in it. Clear as can be! After shaking the unflavored base like crazy, I sanitized my go-to flavor sampler- a Derringer RDA. I put in fresh rayon wicking, and just had to try this nic unflavored. My setup runs dual 26ga Kanthal @ .35 ohms, on a SMPL mech, fully charged.

:D I detect no tobacco flavor, whatsoever. This is what I need for my dessert recipes!!! I am getting TH but it is not overbearing. I believe all nicotine has TH; Try comparing to zero nic VG and see for yourself. All I am tasting is a slight sweetness from my VG. I think I am gonna vape this for the rest of the day to give my taste buds a rest. This nic is right there with VT & NN as far as being transparent. It is as good as I have tried in that regard. If I had to sum up this nic in just one word, it would be SMOOTH.

So don't be afraid to order this in the summer, IMO. If my samples are any indication, it survives shipping just fine. Thanks, ChemNic! -Expect an order from me as soon as my little hoarding freezer arrives. After chain vaping this, I can say that the nicotine is working! :bliss:

My sample came in today too... I haven't had a chance to check it yet, though. I just threw it in the fridge when I got home from the po. I hope mine is as good as yours is. I'm looking forward to affordably stocking my extra freezer for doomsday, lol. :bingo:@ChemNic, any news on the experiment and/or new shipping options?

Teresa, have you tried the VG base Nicotine?...if so, is it just as good as the 50-50 or PG blends?

I'm just wondering about the flavor of the VG, which is why I ask.

Thanks!

No, have not tried the VG yet, I'm a confirmed PG base user for the fact that if there's a mess to be made it'll have my name all over it...lol! I do keep a small amount of VG base on standby for a friend who has allergies, but that's it. I do need to get a small bottle to compare though.

Happy Friday.. Oh.. wait.. It's Thursday.. Ok.. Happy Thursday..

I just wanted to post to let everyone know two things.

First, we've changed the way we package our nicotine for shipping purposes. We've switched the type of gasses we use to backfill the bottles. We now use a combination of argon and nitrogen. We've also added tamper evident seals. While these seals are primarily for tamper evident purposes, they will also help prevent the escape of the back fill gases. We've conducted a number of experiments to see just how effective the new process is. We feel very confident about it.

Seal.jpg

Next, we're having a store wide 4th of July sale beginning tomorrow through midnight on July 4th. Simply use code JULY4 during checkout.

JULY41.jpg

Thanks for everyone's continued support and, most of all, keep on vaping!

Edit.. Please find us on Facebook. We'll be doing giveaways and posting all our specials and new products.. It's going to be a lot of fun..

This is awesome to hear.. I truly appreciate the feedback. I'm not sure why a couple of people in this thread had issues but, regardless, as posted above, we taken new steps to ensure the freshness of our nicotine during shipping. We've also added "Born on" dates to the bottles..

I got the Rocket Sicle. I had a flower taste at first vape. Waited a day and it was spot on. I really like this flavor. Perfect for the summer, and the 4th fireworks.

Here it is..... Home Depot has this little 3 cubic foot freezer on sale. Lots of room for nicotine hoarding! :) Looks like my MFS needs some company. I have 32 more 4 oz glass bottles ordered. -Gonna need them for the gallon of Chemnic. :D Finally- taking my nic storage idea off the things to do list!

As promised, got the gallon. It's properly stored in glass bottles and in the freezer. Given my current nic consumption & added to what I already had, I should NEVER have to buy nicotine again. Feels good to be at this point before the FDA deeming rule deadline, regardless of what happens. Thank you Teresa for starting this thread and thank you to ChemNic! :)

Just my opinion but, if you're not planning on using the nic right away I'd leave it in the gallon inside the plastic bag. The bottle os back filled with gases to keep it fresh.
