It is cold, and I'm good at whining about cold

Saturday afternoon! I'm so excited. Almost completely packed, just have some laundry to do first. I'm more excited about getting drinks to go from the bar than beads but I'll share a few pics I promise haha

And yes hawkie needs to check in. So does peng and I feel like we are missing quite a few others.

I'm checked. I check often to see your footwear of the day......
Grrrrrrrrrrrr.............

Not exactly.....but when I'm feeling a bit feisty and someone asks how many children I have, I sometimes respond "18 and they all have different dads." I've gotten pretty good at holding a serious face for a good 30 seconds....but then I lose it.....lol

It's all that pecker wagging, I tell ya!

Good Morning!

So, my daughter is coming off the trail this weekend.

She said it's because she needs to get back to work to finish paying off her vet bills. (My son got a credit card to pay for it)

He told me the real reason is that her and her boyfriend she's hiking with have decided they can't stand each other.

Oh well, she got to wander in the woods for a month.

Tomorrow we're off to our property up north until Tuesday, I can't wait!!! Scott has been going up for the last month or so, since the snow has melted enough to let him up (7400') BHB gets her 3rd camping trip...this time she's mobile. Boy will she get dirty! There's no cell service out in these boonies; daughter and SIL can't wait to escape 'the world'. Hubby and I don't camp, but drive 45 minutes to a small town with a motel. Anyway, I'll keep reading as possible.
Seeeeee ya :) :bliss: :)

Vegemite is in the house.

Karen took it upon her self to to dab her finger in it and get a lil taste yesterday.

She hasn't stopped talking about it since. Can't believe people actually eat it. I think she's scarred.

She's not a very adventurous eater though.

Morning 22.
I don't think I'd like it straight either. It's a little funky. Salty and savory, and...funky.
Trick is to add just a tiny bit on top of melted butter. It took me a minute to decide if I liked it. On day 2 I added parmesan to the mix, and I knew I liked it.
But yes, it's weird. An acquired taste, surely.

LOL. I'm like K in that I can't stop talking about it. Probably because I can't believe I like it.
Hubby tried it last night and he liked it too. And he was extremely doubtful...kept telling me I had been brainwashed by kangaroos or something, so I made him eat it.

She demanded I taste it when I got home. Then, declared I was lying when I said it reminded me of beef bouillon cubes (which I used to suck on as a child) and wasn't that bad.

I'm thinking I'll do a video review of my first vegemite experience tomorrow morning.

Happy Friday everybody!

Always, have a safe trip and spare us no beads!!!

Vegemite ... I don't know anything about it other than what I have just gathered here and the fact it was mentioned in a song a long time ago that I just vaguely remember, lol.

i had a feeling you'd understand vegemite, not sure why

Probably cuz he's known to wag his pecker around in public.
For some reason I feel that public pecker wagging and the understanding of vegemite go hand in hand.
I could be wrong, but I'm thinking the smell is probably similar.
Happy eating to all the new vegemite fans.

Remember when the worst lingering thought about 1Pak was the picture of him in a tutu?
Now you have a wagging mental picture accompanied with a " down under" aroma.

I think K would concur that neither is an aphrodisiac.
