Best fruity juice?

My husband and i have been vaping since february, we make our own juice and i have had luck making my own juice, pretty good stuff, but he has never once got a juice that he actually likes. nothing we make is any good, i feel so bad for him. maybe we're using wrong percentages or something? i was hoping that someone could help out, i can post what we have and maybe someone can tell us if it'll work? He likes fruity juice, he doesn't like creamy stuff

More info would be helpful. Post up a couple of the recipes you've tried and it will be easier for someone to make a suggestion for you.

here's a couple we've tried recently

The berry crunch recipe didn't look like it should have been too bad. The other ones seem like the percentages may be high. Especially the one with 8% cotton candy; that's too much. I don't know what brand of flavors you are using, so that makes a big difference. Some brands like TFA and even Capella are a bit weaker and so higher percentages are warranted. Brands like Flavourart take much smaller percentages. Look around the recipe section here and other places and see some of the average percentages used.

Don't get discouraged about the bad mixes. We've all been there, especially at the beginning. Just keep experimenting and working at it and get a "taste" for your flavors and what percentages work. Keep reading through as much info as you can learning from others mistakes. Take notes too, what works and what doesn't. That way you don't keep making the same mistakes and also have a base for expanding what you are learning.

I've never used any flavors from WL I know if they were FA the percentages would be on the high side. Maybe someone else will chime in that has used WL flavors with suggestions.

Those appear to be TFA flavors, nothing wrong with them at all but they may not be flavors that work for your husband. I'd suggest having him take a look at some of the recipes in the DIY Recipes section and pick out a few that he thinks sound good. You'll probably have to add to your flavor collection but such is the nature of the beast with DIY juice making. :)

My favorite fruity flavoring is Flavorah Tropical Punch. At 2.5-3% it tastes exactly like Tropical Juicy Juice.

FE Lemon 1-2%
INW Strawberry 2%
INW Lemon Cake 2%
INW (YC)(Yummy Classic) Cherimoya 2%
INW Peach 2%
INW Mango 2%
INW (YC)(Yummy Classic) Blue Dwarf 2%
INW (YC)(Yummy Classic) YC Bubblegum 2%
TFA Berry Crunch 5% (needs a 1 week steep IMO)
TFA Citrus Punch 5%
TFA Blueberry Wild 5%
CAP Sweet Tangerine 5%
CAP Golden Pineapple 5%
CAP Sweet Mango 5%
FA Passion Fruit 2-3%
FA Fuji Apple 2-3%

When creating a new eJuice, I usually make just 10 ml of it, in a 15 ml bottle, which leaves me some room to add more flavor(s) if needed. That way, you don't waste too much, when you have to dump it either. In addition, take a lot of notes of what you have changed, and it's outcome. This will aid in recreating, improving and your learning curve, when creating your eJuice. Once you have that recipe you're looking for, you can mix larger amounts. However, be aware that certain flavors need time to steep, and others loose flavor over time.

I haven't ordered from wizard labs so I'm not sure what brands the juices are, and that's a pretty big deal, also your flavors are in vials so that leads me to believe you are mixing by volume(syringes) correct?

Are you using the using the same syringes for different flavors? Have you smelled your nicotine/stored it out of sunlight/ shake it before you use it?

Are you shaking your flavors before you mix? Have you had them all since February? Have they been kept in a dark place? Are you making your testers with or without nicotine? When you add more flavors do you calculate what you took out? Are you heat steeping? What is his setup?

Sorry if you do all these things but you said you're new so I thought it would be best to go over everything.

nicotine gets peppery, keeping it out of sunlight and in cool places helps and some people are very sensitive to it. I recommend putting the bottle in a bag for added uv protection.

Fruit juices don't last nearly as long as bakery or cream flavors, they lose flavor over time.

Adding more flavoring doesnt mean more flavor. It's pretty easy to flood the taste of other flavors, try keeping it to around 12-15% for fruit mixes.

Cotton candy is no good as a base, it's a sweetener and it's only really good for candy flavors, ie carmel apple flavored candy, but not a carmel apple. If you want a candy fruity flavor cotton candy (circus) adds a little more of a kick. But you should only add a sweetener to a already good recipe. Try small percents between 1-3%. Has he tried single flavors? It's a good practice in diy to know your single flavors for notes.

Please dont heat steep fruits, you will lose a lot of flavor. They are pretty much shake and vape. Check out elr and find some popular recipes to try. I recommend Rhodonite for him, it's very popular. I think you can even buy the concentrate for it now.

If you need recommendations for flavorings look at popular recipes and seeing what they're using. You will usually find something to suit your taste or I can send you a list with my flavor and pairing notes.

My new fruity adv is Tigers blood from heartlandvapes. It's very good.
If you need to use 20% of flavor concentrate, I pass!!! Ideally, all the flavors together, should be 10% max. That's why I'm preferring mainly FA Flavors. However, there are other flavor brands, that have excellent flavor at low percentages as well.

I make a Green Apple Honeydew Strawberry that came out fantastic on the first shot. Not sure if you have the flavors but you might want to give it a shot or something similar.

Good Luck and Vape On Safely

My favorite fruit vape lately has been Sully's Sweet Berry Mash.
Do a search in the Recipes section & you'll find it. I've made it a few times now & can't get enough.

No strawberry/banana cream? I can barely get through a day without this ready to go or at least steeping. I have the Pear and Dragon Fruit. I like the Pear though for TFA it is pretty strong, 2-5% would be good. The Dragon Fruit tastes like Juicy Fruit gum, or really close as I also have the Juicy Fruit flavor. It's not bad if you like that flavor. Someday I want to try a different brand of Dragon Fruit to compare.

The Wizard Labs Summer Inawera Sale is still on. Inawera flavors are much stronger then most of the TFA, so 1-5% is good to start with. It's always better to add more then trying to subtract too much.

Looking at recipes is always good to do. Buying single flavors might be your fix. Though a banana mango with a hint of pineapple, oh and coconut.

May I suggest...I've vape for over five yrs,and a manager at a popular vape shop...but if u get a chance...order M'agave from Captivape...I've tried seems so simple..but the best ever fruit sweet flavor ever in yrs...I've tmobile trying to clone it...but don't know the right concentrates....It's only 2 flavors.. which would make it seem simple but the two flavors are hard to distinct and tell which concentrates they are coming from because there are so many mangoes and guavas and those are the two flavors involved
