Why do I think this "standard" won't allow for anything but ineffective, outrageously expensive, closed systems?

um this is good news???
i mean i kinda see why you would think that
but now some GLOBAL organization is going to tell every person in the world what they believe is to be the standard of a ecig. What if you and I dont agree...too bag so sad. I dont think some mysterious group of people who the modern public has little to no knowledge about, should be in charge of anything concerning my health and how I chose to live. I mean Im sure noone making these standards may have their own political or business related agendas... I mean come on they only want whats best for us

-This is what the EU wanted in the first place, then it compromised to what we have today. A leak proof 2ml tank and child proof e liquid max of 10ml max strengh of 20mg/ml = Actionable in Nov in the UK.

- Standardisation is how the EU works with every product on the market. This is why many small manufacturers voted to leave the EU in the UK, it just adds too much cost to comply with EU rules and regulations. Which Btw do change.

Even tough, there might be "standards", it doesn't mean the manufacturers have to comply with them.
