New Boxmod for low resistance builds.

Hi vapers,

As you can see I'm kinda new to this forum.. so first of all a short introduction.

My name is Robert, 22 years old and live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

I'm looking for a New Boxmod for my low resistance builds.. Think about Alien clapton coils, Fused claptop coils etc (0.1 - 0.16Ω). The setup I use right now is a SX Mini M Twisted Messes v2 RDA.
I have a feeling that the SX Mini M cannot provide the amount of watts I need.. so therefore i need your guys opinion on which boxmod is the best for a budget is €120,-

I was thinking about the RX200S.. but i see alot of bad reviews about that one.

I hope you guys can help me out.

i find a lot of regulated mods dont handle that range very well. the hohm wrecker g2 is the best one i have tried so far. a parallel mech mod is also good in that ohm range (with good batteries). looking forward to seeing more of your builds

Thanks mate, i will look into that. I always use VTC4 , VTC5 and HG2 batteries. I've got 3 brandnew HG2's so if I take a boxmod with 3 18650's the will be married for life.

I will keep the building up haha.

I hope there will be some more response on this thread, so I can make the right decision.

I use my rx s pretty heavily and have not had any problems. At the price point of the mod I don't think you can find a better deal.

Look at a Hohmtech G2. It's ugly but she fires anything and she does any material in TC. They also make a smaller better looking mod called the Slice.

I agree with those above the hohm wreaker g2 is a good choice and is within your budget. There is a g2 thread on VU that you can read.

Hands down, the butt ugly G2! It fires down to 0.007 ohms, the new update allows you to go up to 171 watts and you can TC any wire, includine mixed wires (say clapton with kanthal and SS or any mix you can think of) Vapor cube still had the sale one G2, factory refurbished for $58? or so. Not sure about international shipping though.

Oh, very important, if you decide on the home wrecker, make sure it is the G2 and not the G1.The G1 is not upgradeable!! I just looked at the vaporcube.com site, the sale is over but you can still get the regular G2 (not the LE) for $99. Or go to www.ecig.com and get the same thing for $73

A lot of box mods can work at 0.1 ohm, the problem is that they don't deliver high wattage at those low resistances.

For a 120€ budget you can get a nice DNA200 mod that will deliver.

Another option is to get a dual (or triple) parallel mech mod that can go even lower.

Which parallel mech mod would you advise? @nightshard

FYI i dont use TC control.. so maybe that can help to advise me with the right device...

Budget DNA200 mods could be one of those Chinese mod body with American DNA200 chip kind of mods.
Like the Reuleaux DNA200 (which is similar to the RX200S only with a DNA200 chip), Lost Vape Triade, Hcigar VT200, Smy SDNA 200 and others.
Using the full 200W with a DNA200 requires 3X18650 or a triple cell lipo, but if 133W is enough for you, you can buy a 2X18650 mod with the same chip that will reach 133W like the Hcigar VT133 and others.
I can't tell you where to buy and I suspect that buying them locally will cost even more but the Triade for example can be found for as low as 120$+

As for parallel mech, you should know that it also comes with some issues, it is inconsistent, has no safety features and can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
A dual parallel can safely reach around 190W and a triple parallel around 250W but in both cases you will need to build lower then 0.1 ohm, while using true 30A batteries.
