I go away for a little while, and you people allow a bunch of weiners to come in and start getting all pissy. All this crying, ranting, in need of a hug box for their feels. Makes me believe the asshats at the other forum are sending them over.

I agree with Clint Eastwood BTW, the Pussy Generation has arrived. :cry::blech::cry:

:eek: I'm a cheerful soul, always look on the bright side, etc. I just think it takes way more effort to be sad & negative. Much easier to do sonething about it if you can and laugh. Laughter is the key for me:D.

I think I get so frustrated, because of where we stand in the vaping world. We have a LOT of newer members, and with all that's coming our way, MORE will come here for help. Help is something I do still see, but I see more random anger and frustration, and more arguing than I've ever seen. Is it because of what's coming, or is it just the way people are anymore? We all have days, we all have a bad mood, but people need to chill out.

i think ive mentioned something similar in the past

long time experienced members give new members shit w/o helping them
long time posters gone way way too quiet for way too long

something is off in the past 6 months or so imho

and yes i agree \there is an influx
both of people truly needing help
and just plain ole trolls
and then theres the odd ball
who isnt like people we are used to dealing with - they want help - but they want it in their particular way and normally thats no problem - but lately its causing arguments and bullshit

its a shame

we are losing people due to bullshit
i mess sharkvape even though he could be the worlds biggest ass
i miss chef even though he couldnt follow a damn vendor rule if he made it himself at times
i miss HIC he rarely posts anymore
i miss wllmc
im sick of the 60 page threads of fanboyism
im sick of some of the arguing - of course theres going to be some but sometime sits just too much - no one lets anything go

hopefully we weather this storm

I agree with all that has been said. A lot of knowledge lost and a lot of new people arguing with the info they have been given. I just laugh, although I do I get fed up sometimes.

I haven't even bothered to read the referred to clowns comments in this thread, after I responded to him/her. There's no need to :D it's always the same with those guys. It gets kind of old listening to the needle skip on that record ya know ;)

Agreed, there has been a LOT of knowledge lost here. I don't always post or log in when I visit the forum. Many times I'm just searching for new product reviews or recipes I can work with. And I seriously missed the boat with my recent gear order, because I'm not seeing as many reviews as I have in the past. :(

And HIC? While I'm not a huge fan of the recipes. But I have to give credit, for showing that LESS truly is more. My ADV is a complex mix of 7 flavors @ 11% total. While my other recipes rarely go over 4% total, combining 3-5 flavors.

Yes, it appears that the first flock of Asshat birds has come to roost and is spraying their foul fecal matter everywhere (even in avatars). I haven't been here very long, but will look back fondly at "the way it was". Sigh...change is inevitable.

what happened to chef????

without diving too deeply

he became a vendor
vendor have special rules they must follow
chef broke a few a few times and skirted some i believe.
and teh staff and mods addresse dit with him privately and publicly

but about a week or so ago he broke the most sacred rule - posted someones public info
and he has been permantly banned from the forum
its a shame
i like chef
but he didnt follow the few simple rules we have here
i wished the staff would have come up with a solution that would have allowed him to be here. and i hope that in the future he will be allowed back. i mean ffs how many chances did SharkVape get? BUt if he comes back he has to follow the rules like any other vendor

I dont think its just on this board, I am seeing it all over the place.

In the end, I think that many people simply dont really know how to interact with others. Yet, with technology, there is an open, easily accessible platform to do so. Some take inconsequential things extremely seriously, and while I personally enjoy poking the bear sometimes, it has to kind of suck to live that way.

And, of course, many think they are right about absolutely everything, so when the correct information appears it is seen as erroneous. "Reality" is almost being redefined according to how many links one can provide and how zealously one can argue their point, rather than accuracy or facts. Just as relevant, different viewpoints and opinions on items of subjectivity are things to be destroyed or converted.

Its really interesting, albeit equal parts annoying. It might be best to get used to it, I dont see it getting better anytime soon for this board or any other. I think its becoming just how people interact.

i do not believe we need to get use to anything. i find your pessimistic attitude to be another example of the issue.

people in general are good people imho. we all get bad moods, we all fuck up , we all have a bad day. but in the end we are all good people just trying our best to get thorugh the day.

we as a forum community can work together to help each other not only with vaping, but when we have our bad days and moods to recover form them as well
i have tried in a few threads and the tone went from sour to friendly in a few posts.

accepting things that are bad and not trying to change them is easy...but we as human beings are capable of more and should strive to dobetter when and where we can

History provides examples of failed Ideologies that were based on the principle that people are inherently good. The societies that face the fact that they are not, and have systems in place to discourage bad behavior, tend to have a better success rate.
