I only have so much money to spend in a week, with me having to help with rent. Will say: I get paid this next friday the 5th...I had to use my whole check this week on rent just so we could have a roof over our heads.

I just got a Kangertech BCC evod about a month ago and now i find myself getting angry at the battery life. I am looking for something:

Easy to use,
has cheap coils,
and has a bigger mah power((my bcc evod was 650 and i drain that in NO TIME)).
Also has to have an internal battery((i doubt i can get a mod, batteries, and charger for under 30))
I have looked at the Joyetech AIO but i feel i may overpower that. I am more of a direct lung hitter im finding. Also the tank cant be too thirsty,as i am on a budget and cant be buying liquid every week. If anyone can help me with this, that would be great. I have looked and the AIO was okay, but im enjoying vape so much i drain not only my bcc battery, but also the 2ml in no time.

20 bucks for coils seems rather steep to me...but how long does each coil last...and what coils come with the set?

  • 1 x 0.3Ω Micro Fused Clapton Dual Core (Pre-installed)
  • 1 x 0.25Ω Stainless Steel Dual Core
Depending on how you vape I would say 3-4 weeks

That Smok Stick One Plus is awesome. And for 12 bucks on fasttech you can get the rebuildable coil which is SUPER easy and then never worry about coils again.

Also the Isub tanks are both good and have cheap premade coils that are easily rewicked so they can last several months.

I have ...uhm ...5. Lol. I love them.

At some point, consider rebuilding your own coils and making DIY juice.

I can't agree with this more than I already do.

The thing is, not only do you save BIGTIME, the vape is superior with handmade coils and DIY juice is customized to your exact taste for a fraction of the cost.

I might have something for you.

-IPV D2, with an 18650 battery (samsung 25r) It's a single battery device, so you should be fine to charge through the device.
-Atlantis Aspire v2 with a 5 pack of replacement coils

I would be willing to sell the lot for $30. If interested, I could toss in a 30ml of homemade juice (any nic level you want) and another 18650 battery (LG HE4) for $5. PM incoming.

Do yourself a favor and look into cheap RTA/RDRA and start making your own coils. That's what you are going to end up doing anyway. Since it seems that you are on a limited budget you may want to look into mech mods as well.

You can begin building with a pair of nail clippers and nail if need be. I did.

Most rebuildable will come with the right allen wrench or screw driver needed to open and close the posts.

I am wanting it to be a cooler vape in the end. i heard sometimes depending on the RDTA a while back i heard it gives a better flavor(( i think Tiavapes said this on youtube when she was just getting started with rebuildables herself...been trying to watch alot of videos and get some research in,as i know nothing of box mods or battery safety or any of that, hence why im here. to learn from you guys so i dont end up in the news.

also...what kind of nailclippers would you recommend? i can buy stuff as i can and convert to an actual setup to figure out just what size jigger ill need etcetc. ill probably look at the howto section to find all the information i need to start rebuilding..i just know with the coils they have to be even and have no hotspots.

I'm just trying to help you get started inexpensively with things you probably already have. Just use you regular fingernail clippers if you are trying to get started cheaply. I still use my old fingernail clippers to build and I can afford " fancy vape tools" if I wanted.

Wicking material is something that is a matter of personal taste and budget also.

Cotton Bacon is my personal favorite, but it's like juice - ask ten people what is best, you will get ten different answers, lol.

I do have an extra pair of clippers i dont used, more used for toes but better and easier to me to grab onto so i dont hurt myself trying. so....you can also get different sized nails depending on the build i want, right? just dont know what size ill need for like 20-30 watts.

s-l500.jpg Get one of these, some 24Gauge Kanthal, and do six wraps around the part marked 2.5mm It will come out to .5ohms
That is a good vape for the wattage you want to run. All together with cotton, your looking at less than 10 bucks.

I would say start out with an RTA, I would recommend saving up a little money and getting An Avocado by Geek Vape. Very easy to build on, and pretty forgiving while you are getting your bearings on your wicking method.

Cotton bacon is very easy to work with. When I started using RDA's a few months ago, I had trouble with wicking and cotton bacon helped. Now that my wicking skills have improved, I started using sheets of organic cotton from a company called lush. It takes longer to break in and is kind of a pain compared to cotton bacon but holds up better and last longer. I just started using dedicated RTA's (I was using a Kanger Subtanks RBA for a while before) and have found that the serpent mini is easy to wick and works great. It's a single coil RTA and is as simple and straight forward as it gets. That would be a good RTA to start with as it runs of minimal power but still has great vapor production and flavor.

Rayon is really cheap. You can get it at Sallys which is a beauty supply store. Just make sure it says cellucotton on it. You can get about 10ft of it for about $1.99. If you dont have one near you, check ebay. I got 10ft for around $2.50 shipped.

Good luck

My wife just picked up a Council of Vapor Mini volt and tank kit the other day. It was $50-ish in the local shop, which means you can probably find it for $30-ish online. It's tiny, and only goes up to 40 watts. It came with a no name tank, but I gotta tell you, I'm really impressed with it. Fit and finish is nice. No leaking. Respectable clouds and flavor. Its a really nice small set-up.
