Is using an Aromamizer RDTA on an iJust2 bad? And opening tank.

Recently I got an iJust2 from a friend as a starter. Another friend of mine asked me to use his Aromamizer tank on it. Now here's the problems I've been having with the Aromamizer tank. Firstly, the flavors are strong and I can't adjust the fire on the mod. This is a good thing for some but I like just a hint of flavor and like to take deeps pulls. The second problem I had is after the first week, I started to get a burnt taste while vaping. I figured it was common since my friends say cotton is due for a change after a week. I changed it and that night, it had that burnt taste again. This only occurs with deep breaths. I'm not sure what the problem is here.

I was thinking of trying the iJust2 tank but I need to clean it first before taking it to get recoiled. This is because apparently it's been sitting with it's liquid for 8 months! Gross.. I'm not sure if it's opened up fully and if I can use soap to clean it. Can you guys point out if there is sections that needs to be opened further?

The tank in the bottom picture should come apart, allowing the glass and chimney to separate and clean it all. Replace the coil, I don't think you can just replace the cotton.

What about the middle picture? Is the coil inside the part with holes? Or is it the top part that's empty? Definitely replacing coil as well just don't wanna bring it to the shop in that condition

The middle picture is the coil. It's disposable. You throw it away and buy a new one.

Oh I just found out you can't coil that on your own and have to throw it. The new head lasts about 2 weeks? Isn't that a little expensive for a starter having to buy a new coil head every two weeks at the cost of 20 bucks (my country price). Not to mention you can't coil it yourself and need to visit the shop every time?

You can do it yourself. It's like a light bulb. When it goes bad, you unscrew it and screw in a new one. In most of my tanks, coils are lasting a week or so, at a price of about $5 each, B&M prices, probably cheaper online. So, here, it's cheap enough not to bother me. Don't know about where you are. You can go to building your own coil, but I'm guessing wire and other supplies are expensive where you are too. And you sound like maybe you're a bit new to start going that route.

The aromamizer tank is really nice in my opinion i build vertical clapton coils on it and have really enjoyed it. I have to change the cotton frequently and it can be a bit tricky but its well worth it. Now the ijust2 i would get rid of. I would buy something better that is adjustable i use a dripbox 160 so i can sqonk when i want to but dont use drippers that often anymore. The mod itself is really nice and price is pretty cheap online. But if your having issues with the combo dont downgrade your tank i would upgrade your mod.

No, that section is one single piece, press fitted together. You can't get the glass out of this particular tank.
