Got My iJoy Limitless Lux Dual 26650 Mod

I got my iJoy Limitless Lux 215 Mod from Heaven Gifts a few days ago and so far have been very pleased. It's a fairly big mod, it's got some heft to it thanks to the dual 26650's, but it's not as heavy as I thought it would be. Despite the size, it feels really comfortable in the hand. It's comfortable to use and I like the big fire button. I I just wrap my hand around it and just squeeze to fire, I like that. The looks, fit and finish is really nice and all the edges are rounded and curved. It feels solidly built. The 510 connection is nice and sturdy, I like the little well around the connector. I also got the wood print sleeve for it and it looks nice, wood grain on one side and transitions to a burl wood look on the other.

Buttons all feel solid, I'm not getting any rattle and I really like the screen on top. This is my first mod with a top screen and it's convenient, bright and easy to see while vaping. The screen is nice and flush and well sealed, no gaping for liquid to seep into. I've used it TC mode with SS316L and NI200 and it seems to works well. I didn't have any issues using it in TC mode, but I've been using it in Power Mode the most. It has a boost control and have been using the "hard" boost the most. It doesn't have TCR which would have been nice, but it is firmware upgradeable and hopefully they add it in a future upgrade.

The thing I've been the most impressed with is the battery life. iJoy claims the board operates at 95% efficiency and so far has been working very well. I also like it included two 26650 batteries, I don't know who makes the batteries for iJoy, but they do seem pretty good quality. I have to check out Mooch and see if he has any info on them. On one full charge, I vaped 35-36ml of juice, just ridiculous battery life! Well over 30ml on one charge is amazing, love that. I was using my Limitless Plus most of the time with a Kanthal Clapton build 0.22 ohms and vaping at 65watts using the hard boost. I can't get over the battery life on this thing.

That's one sweet looking mod. Definitely on my list for a Labor Day sale acquisition.

It looks better in person than the pics show. I really want to get that electric leopard skin looking sleeve. I normally don't go for the flashy look, but something about that sleeve I really like.

Not having TCR is pretty surprising. Most good mods have that now. Since I always use TC, that's a no sale. Looks nice though.

It was kinda surprising that it doesn't have TCR, but I did get a good vape from the standard TC wires I tried on it though. I'll probably be using it in standard Power Mode most of the time and just use my DNA's for TC.

And a couple of the Basen 26650 batteries from liion.com! I really love the extra battery life in a dual 18650 mod, this should put that to shame.

Yeah, being able to vape 35ml+ from a single charge is ridiculous. This is truly an all day mod for all but the heaviest vapers and for some would be an all week mod...lol

I'm thinking 2 days for myself. On a Fuchai 213 I have about 40% left on the batteries by bedtime.

It does have SS TC, I vaped a couple of tanks with my Griffin using SS316L and it vaped well, comparable to the Joyetech/Wismec mods. It doesn't have TCR, so you can't really use different grades of SS or some of the more uncommon wire types, but hoping they add them with a future upgrade.

It doesn't look to be as monstrous as I thought it would be from the comparison pics. Nice that it has 18650 adapters included. Would have been nice if it was tcr, maybe in an update (at least for those who use tc, not everyone does). 35+ ml of juice on a single charge is pretty impressive.

Such a lot of BS. The limitless looks identical to the Ijoy EXO 200w dual 26650 which has the infamous taste control and TC in NI/TI/SS. Now I am one of those guys that like taste control on the Asolo. I know its not a G2. I have a G2 in the mail also. There are a few sites that have them on preorder and they will be cheaper without the Limitless logo from the same company.

I do not see if the batteries are included in this one though. So there is a cost justification, I guess.

I wasn't going to get the LUX, didn't think the price was worth it but ran accross a one day deal I would have been crazy to pass up.

Been using it for a couple of weeks and love it. It is big but still comfortable and I go a couple of days before needing to recharge.

The combo of it with the Scottua clone from fasttech is one of my favorite combo's to reach for. SS316L parallel claptons and works great in TC, flavor and clouds for days bro.

Great! I was looking for personal experiences with this mod. The 26650 battery specs are almost too good to be true.

I got the lux a few days ago and I'm in love, I switched from a rx-200 to the lux and I love it as much as I do the rx. There is times where the power button doesn't fire but it doesn't really bother me. I have my limitless rdta on my lux and it just looks sexy. The batteries usually last me around 2-3 days and not even hard-core vaping. It's just a all around great mod. Good job ijoy

Just a bit of advice from another LUX owner.... Keep it clean and watch your juice on the device. Mine has moisture/juice under the screen glass, and it doesn't go away. I can still see the screen, but the moisture is annoying.

The button thing is common. Mine does it too, and I think it's from the button design. You have to get a positive contact to make it fire. You have to make sure you are pressing the button flat across the surface.

I would recommend buying Bassin batteries, as I have a set and they are much better than the IJOY batteries that I also have.

Would you buy it again freemind? I've been looking at one for a while now but that juice in the screen thing is kinda putting me off as well as the misfire. I can pick one up at a b&m store for $85. Decisions decisions. I really like the dual 26650s and that it can go down to .06ohm.

I'm lukewarm on it personally. I enjoy mine for sure and it fills a very nice niche as a 30mm tank mod with dual 26650 batteries that perform admirably and have great battery life. But it's not the best built mod and the chip is decent at best. Temp control is just ass on it. But as a reasonably priced mod that handles 30mm tanks and takes dual 26650 batteries it does its job

Bought two Lux's about a month ago, it's the only mod I can vape near 100 watts all day long without charging the iJoy batteries, and the 30mm Modfather attys fit like a glove.
This^ is the redeeming qualities of the mod. Battery life at high wattage and looks great with 30mm tanks. The user preheat is pretty nice too

Would I? Yes, unless there is another 26650 dual battery mod on the market like this one. It never fails to work, despite it's flaws.

I actually like that the sleeve drops off to change batteries, rather than a door like my other mods all have.

Sleeve is nice and I like the options. Wish they made more colors of it. I was looking at the gbox 150 but looks like it isn't coming out

Where are you guys getting the different sleeves at?

I didn't even know there was an option until I read it in this thread.

Sadly I can't think of a single one. It's an unfilled niche in vaping IMO. Geekvape had a plan to make one but it disappeared

Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
I can't either, unless it's a custom made mod, which costs up the ass. The Lux mods are basically disposable at the price point.

Yeah I got mine for 55 with no batts from eFun. Couldn't find a better price but that's not bad for the niche it fills. I only have 3 mods for 30mm tanks. A rage unregulated mod, the lux, and triad 250. And I paid 180 total for all 3 which isn't bad at all. Usual price is around 330 total for those 3

You could always get a triple 18650 mod and get the same capacity and probably smaller footprint. I would personally go in that direction since I only vape in TC and the best 18650's are better and easier to get than the best 26650's (battery makers pour their R&D into 18650's). Either that or get a dual 18650 mod and carry a spare set of 18650's. Here's a picture of two very good dual 18650 mods with 2 very good triple 18650 mods.

I got lucky with a package deal from vapordna that includes the 2 fake leather sleaves. I have never seen those sold separately though.
