2nd day with coppervape was a treat. switched to belcap on NarDA clone. digging it. also put a new build. was using a 4 wrap clapton. ramp-up sorta sucked. switched to .35ohm ss coil and it's a much better vape. almost dusted a full 10mL bottle last night. lol. that's a lot for me.

here is what my first build was. i put it on the sig213 when i was taking the coil off and rebuilding. but on the coppervape, it was meh.

this was much better.

Ooooh Aaaaaah Purrrties on FastTech and they're eh, okay priced. I'd need to save a few nickels but if I wanted one I could see me paying about that for one. For now, I see me piddling away with the Reo Grand style clones I've got, saving dimes toward a genuine Reo Grand or Reo LP.

I needs wire at present, and an ohm meter. I'm trying to get there money wise. No, I don't want el cheap'o ohm reader for less than $10, had one and it went kaput from being too cheaply made. Might go about $30 for one but not much more than that. Wire, well I can get that from Temco at a nice price, just a matter of gathering the change to get there. And I'll get there. :)

depending how low resistance you build, either the USA ohm meter, or the geekvape 521 tab are my recommendations

USA if you push the limits of your batteries... still the most accurate meter on the market, i think i paid $37 aussie dollars, which should come in under your budget with currency conversion

521 tab [the geekvape mini is cheap] if you are comfortably within battery limits, will also let you dry burn on the meter

$175 usd, but will no doubt be cloned

i don't like top air, but lots do

hinted at a mod to put it on too
Looks like it has top and bottom air (at least I'd think those are air holes in the deck)

Yep, I was looking at some of the 521 tab ones on Fast Tech. When next I have funds sufficient, it'll be atop my priorities list, next will be wire from Temco. I usually have mini-sprees where I spend ~$50 on vaping stuff, about every three months. Although, I usually do not spend a full $200 annually on vaping. Might need that and more starting this year. It still less expensive financially than cigarettes for me. Those would have been roughly $120 USD monthly, $1,400 or so annually. Cigarettes then being 7 times more expensive.

New to thread.
I am assuming that all are aware that Coppervape Squonker mods are now available at FT? As well as spare bottles.

Also if no one has mentioned it the Disguiser mod with squonk kit is a good fit for a big squonker atty. That thing will geyser up the juice to keep a big atty fed.

Oh the woes of squonking, I am now and addict. Figured out I am squonking roughly 4ml per day, which is double what I used when using Evod style tanks.

4ml * 365 days = 1,460ml I may as well round off and be needful of about 1.5L per year of juice. If I buy Hawk Sauce at $50 per 300ml that would mean roughly $250 per year. Figured out I could do up unflavored for about $100 and wind up with roughly 2 years of juice. Think it is time I got more into DIY, might spend another $50 for gear supplies, yet $150 versus $250 seems more conducive.

For the $100 I would get 1L of nicotine, 1 gallon each of PG & VG. If I do the maths correctly, I will have nicotine left over but still yield about 4L of juice. Each Liter of juice, again if I'm figuring correctly would get 180ml of nicotine solution, totaling 720ml of solution used.

Curse you addictive squonking! *squonk, squonk*

Yes, the above is meant a bit sarcastically. If I do need to get into DIY, so what? I'll just need to do it and do it. No intention of going back to cigarettes, or tobacco. It's even more expensive plus the health risks it entails.

Suggestion: Try filling the bottle in your mod with unflavored and drip flavored juice into the atty only when you think you need it. Vape, then squonk in unflavored until you think you need the flavored again. You might be surprised how long your (more expensive) flavored juice lasts using this method.

i've discovered that the clear coat sucks on my brass copper vape. i can scratch it off easily with my fingernails. not really a big deal since i was going to remove the coat and logo and recoat anyways. :) i also ordered a silver aluminum from FT. is the clear coat as bad on the aluminum version?

i'm still loving my brass coppervape. it's been my go-to at home vape since i received it.

My Silver/alum Coppervape is nice with the coating. Not scratched it yet but do not think it would show much if I did.
I ordered another one from FT, it is in route now. My first one I got straight from Coppervape.

My brass Coppervape received the fingernail treatment too followed by a Scotch-Brite rub. The patina I want is coming along fine. Like yours, it is "my go-to at home vape".

The aluminum one doesn't seem to have a clear coat.

yeah not real sure on that either but it prolly does have a thin one?

My alum CV is becoming my out and about vape. So pocket friendly and light. And 10 ml of juice.

Been using the aluminum one for quite awhile now. The coating is definitely scratching off but doesn't make it look too bad. I am very tough on mine, btw.

It was my original intention to scotch-brite the coating, just haven't gotten around to it.

Love it a lot and for the price, amazing.

Oh, if I need to do so I'm alright vaping unflavored juice full on. For me vaping isn't for the flavors as much as staying away from tobacco. But yes, see your point on "thinning" the juice. Also thought of mixing unflavored & picking up flavors from the grocery from time to time when I wanted a bit of variety.

yah, i'd rather mix and dilute rather than drip. having to drip sorta defeats the awesomeness of the squonkability IMO. :)

i removed clear coat last night, scotch brite scrub and brasso finish. the coppervape logo is almost completely invisible now. i think i'm going to buff it a little more and put a poly clear coat on it this weekend. i wish i took before pics cause it was really starting to look shitty with half of the coat coming off and patina starting to set in. lol. here's after.
