At those sizes, they'll probably go bad before I use up any of it, but at those prices... WoW!

Hate to see anyone shuttering their doors, but I understand that things do happen and sometimes life (or govt or asshat corporations) can throw a person a curve ball. Best of luck in your next endeavor.

Yeah, you're right. I need to move a big chunk of my flavorings to the freezer. I already have 4oz bottles of some flavorings, and now I'm going to have 16oz size bottles of pie crust, graham cracker, marshmallow (to add to my 4oz *laf*), vanilla bourbon, and more. The FDA has turned me into a hoarder :oops:

I was disappointed to find that the 32 oz containers of Bavarain Cream and Vanilla Bourbon were several years old according to the date codes.

I never would have noticed or cared if the flavors were "right" but--I had mixed up a 120 ml batch of one of my favorite mixes the day they arrived and noticed the flavor was not right so I went to the FA website and looked up the codes...one was two years old and one was three.

Oh well...

Those are crazy-cheap. I wish I needed any of those!
So disappointing that regulations are having this effect, though.

Please understand that we purchased many flavors in gallon sizes and they were broken down into smaller containers for production. Despite our internal SOPs stating that a smaller size product bottle without the same batch number could not be used for breakdowns, some of our mixers did this anyways. Up until about 8 months ago, we were going through a lot of flavors. It is unlikely that the flavors were 2 to 3 years old due to our volumes.

Never did we intend to "get over" on anybody. I am truly sorry that flavors your received did not meet your standards or ours.
