Not sure on the istick but the IPV2 is a good mod I still use mine occasionally but I found a new friend that seems to have all the correct items in it, its the Sigelei 50w and it's just an overall great 50 watt'r nothing too fancy but just sound in and out
I've been on it for a week now and my Variant is starting to get dust on her but we'll see
But I've got some Sigelei's 100w plus coming in next week so....
Good luck choosing one it's always a great day when you get a new mod.

Hey there and welcome new colorado people!

@Kingboomer I have an iPV3 and love it. Since I barely touch my mechs anymore, I want a single battery regulated mod to put all my unpaired 18650's to use. I really like the iPV Mini 2. 70 watts gives me some headroom, I vape at 50-55 usually, and they are really nice I was able to get my hands on one, and it's a nice device. I'd lean toward the iPV Mini 2 over the iStick, but if you don't have batteries and a charger, you're looking at a significant difference in price. If you've got a charger and batts, VaporDNA has the silver Mini 2 back in stock for 69.99, I can give you a $10 off coupon, too.

Let us know what you end up getting, I've been staring at that damn Mini 2 for way too long now.

Honestly I may go for the istick50. I don't have batteries/charger yet, and funds are extremely tight ATM. I dunno, we'll see what this year brings.

If you dont have batteries and a charger, and you're on a budget, though i haven't used one, i say go iStick 50. Everyone seems to love them, and you can, and probably will get another mod in the future. The you can get quality batteries and charger when that time comes.

I was just about to buy the istick50 and the girl at the store was saying that some people who vape all day were having problems with the istick50 crapping out after about a week. I ended up buying the iPV Mini2 70 watt because I already have the Efest 4 bay charger. I also picked up the Herakles sub ohm tank. Holy fucking shit! I chased a cloud at 70 watts today and it was overwhelming. The cloud was so thick my co-worker and I lost visual of each other for about 5 seconds. LOL

I've got a Mini 2 as well, it eats batteries laughably fast, but it's an awesome device. I go through batteries fairly fast in my iPV3, too, though. You made a good choice, since you had a charger, and presumably batteries, which are cheap anyway. Where dd you get the Herakles and how much? If ya don't mind me asking.

And hey to all the new colorado peeps.

I buy all my gear from Elements of Vapor in Arvada. The Herakles sells for $45 I think but got it for $40. They were the first retail store in Colorado to get the Atlantis, the Arctic and Herakles tanks. I've been shopping there since the day they opened, awesome folks and store/lounge.

And yes the iPV Mini2 does like it's batteries, but I don't think it kills them any faster than my mechanical. Plus the Mini turns the 18650 into some serious power, I've been vaping at 61.5watts and 7.1 volts. You'll never get that kind of power out of a mechanical.

The Herakles is amazing! My only gripe is big clouds consume a lot of juice. But it works flawlessly. Major airflow, huge coil and wick and hits smooth.

Those all sound like good things. I'm gonna have to get one of these tanks at some point. Still waiting. I haven't been to Elements of Vapor, that's not my area of town, but sounds like it might be worth a trip.

And yeah, the Mini 2 is pretty amazing. I think I notice battery drain faster than my mechs, since my builds are at .45, and I vape them around 55 watts, so that's more than they draw off a mech. The iPV3 keeps on kicking for quite a while, though.

Hi all was trying to get a hotel room at the comfort inn next to the festival. I called and asked about the group rate and they knew nothing about it. They rate they offered was just the going rate of the hotel. Does anyone know anything about the event rate?

I don't. I live about 30 minutes or so south of Denver and the location, so no hotel for me. I haven't checked the website in a couple of days, but when I did, it was incomplete with no schedule and some broken links. I don't have Facebook, but was able to read the pages on it, and I think I saw an email address for an organizer.

I plan on going. Likely on Sunday, though not certain. Never been to a vapefest, I plan on bringing plenty of wicking, basic building stuff, tons of batteries, and probably a mech, and at least a TC mod, maybe the iPV3, and the 4. I'm pumped, the iPV4 will let me dry my wick out completely, perfect for all the juice I hope I get to try. Gonna bring a backpack, too, since I gather I should be walking away with a ton of juice samples.

Money's tight right now, so it's gonna be a bit tough to control myself. I'm excited, who else from Colorado is planning on going? Maybe we should start a thread, if people don't reply here. I'm the lanky dude with a shaved head and massive beard. Maybe some of us VU peeps should plan to meet up?

That's crappy. If you end up going, post here. The website and Facebook page still isn't updated, though it does give a 12:00 noon opening time, with early bird giveaways Saturday. Might have to go, then. Kinda need to get my car serviced Saturday, but I could snag a loaner, probably. Sunday is still more likely for me, they need to post more info.
