I just took my batteries out to charge and I put them back in and it's now saying check battery I've tried it with 3 batteries. I have 2 married LG hg2s and I'm using 3 married Samsung 25r for 3 battery me.

On another thread on reddit someone suggested the problem was the batt contacts that meet the back cover.
If yours are pushed in and NOT raised a bit above the back plastic casing that houses them, this may be your trouble also.

Could you try it in dual 18650 mode to rule out the cover for use in triple 18650 configuration?
Also, clean the contact on the door and the mod, I hope you can get this sorted easily and quickly.

In dual battery mode it still uses a passthru strap in the cover and the contacts.
I have tried with the 2 batt setup also, no go
I put the back cover on my rx 2/3 that is working properly, (I have 2 of these ) and it was fine.
So now just need to clean up the contacts and get the nerve to take a teeeeny flathead to the contacts to gently work them up.

I started to get the 200s instead of the 2nd 2/3, and of course I didn't.
I have heard great things about the 200s, and after using the OG rx like a workhorse I have no prob sticking with that series.
I still love my 2/3, well, the one that works, lol!
It performs flawlessly, batt door u have to have patience with, but it goes on flush if you do, in either 2 or 3 batt mode. Doesn't jiggle when u give it a shake. And it feels great in my hand & looks killer in either 2 or 3 setup.
So, just cuz I have probs doesn't neccesarily mean you shouldn't consider it.
But since the 200s is out there as well, I guess that one should win out for now.

I have a 200s arriving from Vapenw tomorrow. Seemed like a better choice for me as I don't need the 2 battery configuration and this avoids the whole battery door issue. I had batteries delivered t day for it from Illum that are charging up for it. Looks like a nice addition.

I know, that is why I suggested trying it to rule out the triple 18650 cover and to clean the contacts on it and the mod. just in case
. Oh that is pretty annoying if you have another device and you know for sure it is not this- sorry to hear it has failed.
I do like the RX 2/3, but it does seem this is an area of weakness of the mod.
Think of it this way-the mod is already broken, so lifting the contacts with a flathead won't result in anything worse than you already are experiencing, give it a try.
Could all this trouble be from the firmware updates?

Yes, update. Their firmware is jacked up. I just brought a 200s and my girlfriend the 2/3 and had so many problems. Update is the answer
