I have officially joined the ranks. Just got my Therion Squonker today (MFS's 20% off DNA sale). The Delirium atty that comes with it is a POS. The grub screws bottom out 0.5mm BEFORE the back wall of the post. Waiting for Tsunamis to get here, but if anyone has a better recommendation, I'm all ears.
Are you who I think you are from "over there" or is it KentC I am thinking of?
The vape is actually nice. Tried the Boreas on it too, pretty typical DNA performance, in other words, nice. But, there are DNA devices that are cheaper. Granted, not any squonkers of which I'm aware, but the HCigar VT series performs just as well, and are more economical.
The squonk bottle is actually really nice. Solid mold, but almost a rubbery soft press that delivers well.
The Delirium atty is actually a very solid performer but for the (imo) major flaw of the grubs not seating completely to the end of the posts. And it's all four holes (Velocity style), so it appears to be a machining decision, and not a flaw on a single post or hole.
To the looks... well, disappointing is probably the best word. The leather is stickered on, and obviously so, and not well. On one side, there are actually bubbles. Some of the sticker edges were also not down tight, so I carefully fixed these with super glue, which seems to have done the trick, but shouldn't be necessary on a +$100 NIB mod. The wood seems solidly seated.
If you're not a gentle user (I am), I would say pass on it, Because, if you don't handle it gently, it won't look good for long.
The USB is not the retractable one on the squonker version. You get a spare bottle, tube, grub screws, and orings for the atty.
Oh, and you definitely want to lock the power when squonking it.

I did assemble it. This was a work mod build, so size , weight and ease of use trumped looks hehe
This is the 3d print design i used from mc0676. Had to sand the cover a bit for the cappy to sit properly.

I do like the hell out a Sapor. Can't wait to have it mounted to a squonk box. Only other top air atty I think that beats it flavor-wise is the Shingen.

Little updates on the Therion.
The button sometimes sticks. Very light touch and it doesn't, but on a hard press, sometimes, yeah.
The bottle/510 and 510/atty connections are really solid though, no leaks or dripping or loose juice at all.

I have a BF Sapor - and it's "parked" - I found it kind of 'meh' in the flavor department compared to some others I have. I figured it's the chamber size - older ones like the Rogue or Manta, and more recently, pancake and Narda - all have a lot less room under the hood...
Maybe I'll give it another shot...

Can anyone point me in the direction of an easily attainable smaller diameter BF atty with a good restricted DL draw?
Hellfire Fury is 18mm and is amazing, Origen Little 16 is another great little atty. Both are pretty pricey though.
I happen to have one for sell on spc on fb, easily attainable if you want it haha.

fasttech and others have origen little [o16] clones now, i imagine they will filter down into your local markets
the new mark bugs rda, which has also been cloned is reportedly very versatile, i think it is called "charm"

Nah, there's a lot of atties that are horrendously overpriced. It makes no difference what it costs, truly tho, it's all about the vape. I do have a little clone otw from Focal tho lol I'm just worried it might be a tad bit tight for my liking
That's the only good small diameter atty I know of that's been cloned.
My favorite, by far, is the Nuppin, but they're another pricey, small batch modder-made atty.
I have a legit 0-16, and a clone on the way. It's not as tight a draw as the hole makes it look like - it's definitely restricted, but I lung hit on it (wide open)...
