Really that much toasted almond for milk and honey? Even at 2% I get a nasty ass taste.

Gonna have to try this but also take it with a pinch of proverbial salt. I've tried literally dozens of M&H clones, and attempted many myself, and nothing seems to get anywhere near. I really have no idea what the original even tastes like, all i know is its goddamn delicious. I think the slight banana note (that i get anyway) is whats often overlooked.

I'll let you know though!

I've tried that "Milk n' honey" by LostVapes and I can only give it a "Fair" rating...
Changed it somewhat on my second batch and it was only a Fair +, but nothing really great.
Funny, with a name like that, I kept looking for the "honey" flavoring to add:rolleyes:.

This is definitely my best clone and most people that have tried it have heaped thanks on me for it - YMMV

Man that's some heavy handed mixing. I'm not scared though. Ordering the Bourbon and toasted almond so I can give it a whirl. Never had Castle Long but the profile looks good. Thanks for sharing. I will make it your way first then see if I need to back it off a little. I've never had luck with TFA Coconut or AP over 0.5% but I know how certain combos call for crazy percentages.

Let it steep a week. This is better than the original imho.

Now that's a testimonial.

Thanks for the tip. I don't go through juice like I used to so steeping isn't a problem any more. I used to think that a week steep was like WTF that's impossible. Now when I sit something aside for a week it'll be 2 or 3 before I even check to see how long its been.

I'm looking forward to this one. Thanks again @EWS111 !

Same here....tried a couple different versions of "clones". None taste near the original. Amazing due to the fact that they smell identical. Just the taste is off.

You should make it a point to taste it on day 7 or so. It will get smoother after 7 days, but the toasted coconut will continue to get more and more mellow. I love the toasted coconut taste at 7 days.

I mixed up @EWS111 's CL clone earlier. Smells awesome. Had to try some fresh. In a dual clapton RDA @ 70W it takes my breath away. Going to sit it aside for a week and see how it changes. Right now the bourbon is strong, as suspected. As it steeps does the bourbon mellow out?

I dropped the bourbon on my mixes. Seems like I went to 4%, and then down to 2%.

I Vaped this until I couldn't vape it any longer, which is how it works for me. I'd vape it for a few days and switch to something else's, and then hit it again. I seem to just get sick of any juice after a while. I did load up a tank of this a few days ago and enjoyed it for the day.

I'm the same way. It doesn't matter how good a recipe is, I will get tired of it after a certain amount of time.

I wish I could find a clone of Anti-Lag by Boosted. It's the store bought juice that I could vape the most.

I just ran across this earlier today. I haven't mixed it and I've never had the original but it might make for a decent starting point for you.
http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com/boosted-ejuice-anti-lag/
Thanks for the link! I saw that recently as well (seems to be reposted a few times elsewhere) but I absolutely cannot get behind the idea of 5% TFA watermelon. I mixed up something today w 0.6% and it absolutely dominated the mix. Going to use the rest as inspiration though. I don't taste AP or Graham Cracker in Anti-Lag but that doesn't mean it's not there.

Hey anybody know a puffking vanilla shake clone?we have been making ejuice for a few months at our shop now and our personal favorite is this and we have tried vanilla bean with sweet cream from TFA but it was missing that milky taste. then we found dairy or milk flavor and tried it with French vanilla just can't get it. any Helpwould greatly be appreciated.

Dayum that's a lot of Fruit Circle! I can't go passed 2% on that one.
The Milk and Honey clone looks interesting. Definitely going to whip up some of that.

Same here %8 TFA Fruit Circles, Just way too strong for my threshold.

The Pebbles using TFA Berry Crunch also sounds odd. To me they seem more like the Captain Crunch Berry Flavor. The reason why people have such a rough time with pebbles is that it is mostly sugar and milk. Any fruit in it is only the undertone taste you receive. Pebbles needs some other fruits also Tangerine, Rasp, and Cherry. Very small amounts though because they are in no way the prominent flavor. I keep seeing other people adding 1.5-3% of random Lemon flavors to Pebbles recipes also. There may be Lemon, but its not the main flavor. If anything I believe I usually taste a light vanilla.

Many of the clones look and sound great. But when the flavoring reaches close to and 30% like MM and Grandmaster, then I wonder if you have tasted it, or steeped them? We used to learn that 20% was max, and that was when most used ego batteries and 1.8 coils. Isn't very overpowered when vaping that much flavor in a rda or sub ohm tank? I tried a recipe with 23%, and it was pretty much tasteless right after mix, and I have steeped it for one week now, and it starting to taste something. But remember, more often than not, in DIY juice, less is more. Exuse my weak English

I agree with you. Recipes I made when I first started DIY have been cut WAY down with the gear that's out these days. Most anything I mix is in the under 7% range.

I think it depends on what specific ingredients and manufactures you're using. I have a daily vape the comes in at 19% almost half of it due to TFA's RY4 Double running at 10%. I mix it in 120ml bottles, steeps a week and is great for the next 3+ weeks. I also have single digit mixes that are awesome and made up nearly entirely of FA.

TFA's RY4 Dble......
One of my constants as well, but these days I couldnt have it above 2%.
Back in the day of Ego batts and eVod tanks I may have mixed near 10%, But as time passed and my taste sense improved after the years of punishment with cigs..... Plus the step up to a Russian 91% clone and doing cotton / self made coils was HUGE for Flavor in comparison to my old gear.

These days I rarely exceed 5-7 % flavoring in complicated mixes, and usually 1-3 % in simple mixes.
And thats why I still Vape..... DIY.
Theres no way I can endure 99.8% of store bought juice...... its just to much !

We all have different tastes, and DIY enables us to have it our own way !
Anyways..........
