Title says it all , any preferences on paring Anise with something that makes a satisfying vape . Not complicated please (meaning keep it to one or two extra flavors tops ) yeah , i'm DIY challenged.

Italians like it in their coffee, chocolates, ice cream, and biscotti (cookies).
It adds light/bright flavor to licorice.
A hint of anise in any citrus (or any citrus with a little anise) is all good.
Plain old vanilla with a little anise is a great way to try it if you've never vaped it before.
Or just vape it plain and strong. I love that sweet stuff. It's not dark and molasses-y like licorice, just sweet, cool, bright, so good.

Go opposite, i have found some shocking good combos by accident with anise... if it is a back ground note it works really well.

DIY challenged remember , the definition of a background note = __________ please.

Lighter almost an after thought, a kiss of anise instead of ARRRGHGHG melt tongue rip tonsil out thing.
I found strawberry, coconut, kiss of clove and anise to work well.
When I am mixing something with clove, anise or wintergreen it is 1-2 drops max, 2-5% of other flavors and since I drip not more 10-15% total.

My personal use is dripping 100% of the time 24/7 when I am vaping... wide open air flow,.
The only time I have to tight draw on something and end up nearly ripping my lungs apart is when I forget and try to lung hit mom's PT.

Would it be good with Cisco? Oops, stupid spellchecker! COACO?

Your spellcheck has gone bad, D. lol!
Anise in cocoa/chocolate is an acquired taste. I've acquired it :). I use anise extract in my real hot chocolate and mocha. You might try that before you try it as a vape; just add a couple drops of FA Anise to your hot cocoa and see how it strikes you. (or try chocolate-dipped fennel seeds...mmmm!)

Not sure why but yes my smartphone is stupid! It could be part of my brain malfunctioning too. But I do know Crisco & COACO do make great recipes! Almost outta juice. Waiting for mail lady! I'm gonna hug her today:)

I've been vaping FA Anise @ around 3-5% excessively for the last month or so. By far the best single flavor I have found to date. This is my "brand" so to speak. I can vape it for days and days on end and never get sick of it!

Cola would be another addition that's pretty tasty but honestly, I really, really like it on it's own! :)

I use anise oil and break it down with a bit of grain alcohol I used to use FA but I like the real stuff

I'm second generation Italian raised by old school Italians... I put this sh*t in EVERYTHING!!
How would you list the breakdown for vanilla+anise? 3% and 1%?

I used anise:vanilla 2:1 in this recipe: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-white-tic-tac.1773/
but I usually use less in recipes: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-italian-christmas-cookies-anisette.29047/
here I used it with equal amounts of vanilla: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/green-hic-envape-its-not-frankenvape.36808/
and it's good with no vanilla, too: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-herb-drops-like-ricola-original.43700/
When I vape it standalone, I use much more. (but then I really, really like anise!)

I concur with above that a hint of anise is very good with cookie/wafer and vanilla/vanilla ice cream/vanilla custard.

With just INW Biscuit, you have yourself a nice little Anisette Cookie vape. Add a little sweetener and a hint of citrus and a little ginger bread and you have a nice Pfeffernusse for the holidays.

I think anise is the only flavor I haven't purchased recently, since getting into DIY. I need to check though, (might) have it.

Don't have the flavors organized in any fashion whatsoever (yet). Need to get these flavors organized, so I'm not wondering what I have. Sounds like a good weekend project. Make a cabinet and shelving with compartments.

Test all flavor profiles, take notes.

How about lemon, vanilla and anise? I bet they'd all go together nicely...no?
