Aspire Nautilus BVC

I've been using an Aspire Nautilus for a while now. The new BVC coils seem to work for maybe 3 days. The first day is amazing. Great vapor and super tasting. The second day is good but the third day is just marginal. This works out to be about 800 puffs before the flavor is gone. I'm just wondering is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

My experience is much the same which is why I prefer the mini over the full size. Even those I only fill half way.
What coil strength are you running and at what wattage/voltage?

The juice/s you use also have a bearing on how fast your coil gets gunked up. I don't think you're doing anything wrong specifically...

Most of my juices are 50/50 pg/vg. No idea what yours are however I have the same coil and usually run it between 10-11 watts. Your 8.5 wattage is a tad low and you might try cranking it up a bit if your mod will allow it. If it starts to taste burnt back off on your settings.
Again though, I doubt you will get any better result as far as your juices flavor longevity is concerned. Especially with such a large amount in the tank.
Try a little higher wattage and a lot less juice in the tank. like most, i'm very much in the habit of carrying around a small bottle of juice and a spare coil, J.I.C.

I typically get a minimum 2 weeks good use from my "genuine" aspire BVC coils. I don't chain vape though....

When using juice from juicyvapor.com I have been getting at least 10ml per coil. All the juices I vape these days though are light colored and don't gunk thinks up so fast. I don't know the JV ratio other than it being listed as reduced PG.

Most dark juices, especially bakery types contain micro solids that are unable to be filtred by mechanical means. That is what clogs wicks and turds up coils. That and lower temps.

No that is not normal. I'm sorry to hear you have been having issues. I had the same thing happen initially but that was only because I used the stock coils that came with the tank. There's a chance you may have purchased fakes or better put knock offs. The market is flooded with them because of the popularity and demand for the Nautilus. Good quality coils are supposed to last at minimum one week. I get mine at www.evape.us they sell only genuine coils and good prices to boot. Good luck!:)

The Nautilus Mini is better. I compared both back to back and the Mini is just perfect in size and structure, it seats the coil better as well. The airflow controller is also more durable and gives off a better vape.

It will be interesting to see what Aspire will do in the future with regard to their tank upgrades and whether they will start following in Kanger's footsteps and start making larger tanks with upgraded airflow valves.
