Maybe it is just in my head, but I seem to get better flavor with spaced coils.
I can build 2 identical setups with the exception of spaced v/s not and the spaced seem to produce more flavor.

Yeah I needed some matchy matchy, lol

Not at all.
This is my 4th one.
I haven't had any issues with any of them.
Definitely no spitting.
Why did you epoxy it?
What was it doing that require that?

Didn't like the feel of the short tip. Nothing I had laying around fit tight enough, so I used epoxy.

Ohh, I see.
Makes sense.
Thanks to SMOK and the tip they use on the Minos25 and Micro TFV4 when you get it in a kit with a mod, I've becomes used to those shorter tips.
Before that, I also didn't care for them.

i broke my top cap
it sucks
dropped the whole thing right on the drip tip and in broke the top cap
the only replacements are the white ceramic cap for the combo which is fugly
and these multicolor resin ones i found on fasttech and ebay

so i found this
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10021170/5426301-authentic-ijoy-limitless-plus-rdta-rebuildable
says authentic
priced at authentic price.
They have clones for half that on there
but notice in the picture
there is the 510 adapter as usual
but there seems to be an additional top cap. It looks different then the original one
so i am hoping that is actually in the pack and i can use that to fix the broken one and have 2 now
plus i ordered these
https://www.fasttech.com/products/4535201
which is they are teh identical size to the griffin 22 or even 25 they will fit in the top cap of the limitles plus and make it the perfect size with no adapter needed

I hope to not break any naturally but in the event that I do, I have 3 others to swap parts if needed.

Spent some time with Limitless Plus rdta today. Fluffier wicking improved the flavor and I got it out of the way to side fill without a mess. It vaped nicely for about an hour with fused Claptons, 0.35 ohms, 75-85w.

An hour later, it was popping, not quite spitback but annoying. Is the wicking too thick, wrong length, or what else might cause this?

Then when I attempted to remove the tank
from my rx200, the base did not want to budge. Very little area to get a grip of. Finally got it, but wasted about 4 ml of liquid.

First to admit I have several thumbs, but there must be an easier way, or style of RTA that doesn't have a narrow base or require hourly wicking adjustments? On my og Aromamizer, the base likes to stick to the bottom of the main portion of the tank. So maybe I have an issue with small bases.

I do Scottish roll wicks, not fluffed out, dropped into the glass midway, and no spaced coils. Kanthal contact coils.

I have every limitless out and the classic on my desk at work waiting on me , I found a spaced 24 ga ss single coil gave me the best flavor and no spitting tuck my cotton about 3mm from base and wicks like a dream run about 70w with the resin tips from fasttech , I know everyone has had different experiences with this tank but it has been solid for me and chucking like a champ

I got my limitless plus in from fasttech
it is authentic
and it comes with 2 top caps.
one flat and one rounded like the v1 version
neither hold a 510 without the adapter
but the replacement griffin drip tips i got fit perfectly in both
so now i have my old one working and a new one

So you like big bases and cannot lie?
I'd apologize but it was funny in my head.
If the base not wanting to be removed from your mod regularly you can use a small O-ring around the 510 to assist with this.
As long as you don't over tighten it, it'll allow there to be just a slight bit of a gap making it easier to remove.
Just a thought.

Does the limitless leak much? Been thinking of trying an RDTA but have heard a lot of them leak and I hate juice in my cup holders and on steering wheel. LOL

I have the Limitless Plus, the Classic, as well as the Combo, none of them have leaked.

I bought the XL Plus and it leaks like a sieve. I have tried everything. I have seen some others with this problem. Any suggestions? I tired it with the coils it came with and a few different builds.

Where's the juice Coming from? Try swap out the orings on the ring and make sure you are using 3mm plus ID coils. The inner edge of the top cap seems a little sharp so I smoothed out w some fine grit sandpaper to make sure that it doesn't damage the orings.

I have 2 limitless plus V1's I have only opened one of them and have been using it for a while now without any issues. It's a great RDTA in my opinion. I run a single spaced coil and really like the flavor and vapor I get off of it.

thanks for that info. i lost my limitless drip tip. i got a $10 clone from FT and i love it. but the drip tip was super loose, even after adding plumbers tape. so obviously i lost it lol when out on the town. i hoping my griffin drip tip fits- didnt even think to try that. itll hold me over until this shows up https://www.fasttech.com/products/5819201

i have found that the new top coil genny tanks are damn near impossible to get to leak when set up properly. way more secure than bottom coil tanks. which is the opposite of what i thought going into this. when i used old-school gennys (you know, with the mesh wick), they would leak more often than not. but these new tanks designed for cotton, when wicked properly have zero leaking issues. theyve became my new favorite tank style.

The XL is an entirely different beast.
When I first set it up with the premade coils they include is poured straight through almost.
I wasn't a happy camper.
Tried 2 others, same shit.
Built my own, no leaks.
So my take away was to forget about their prebuilts and just make my own.
That doesn't solve anything but saves my juice.
(Unless they came out with a new one that I am unaware of, the XL isn't a Plus, just an XL)

Thanks for the warning on the XL. I don't understand how a coil type could cause it to dump juice though. I have the original 24mm and have zero issues with it.

It was a dual quad coil, and just like many other premade coils, it sucked.

I've never seen spaced clapton style coils either. Did you have any problems with hotspots, @Paratech .. ?

Gotta try that method, I see advantages too.

You need to get a new Delrin insulator, no way around it.

Most of my builds are 0.2, 0.3

MMMMM, sounds like you pulsed the coils to much. I did that once back when I first started building, didn't let it cool long enough between pulsing. It takes a lot to melt the Delrin.

Never had any issues.
I seem to get better flavor with them spaced and since nothing is touching it eliminates the cause of most hot spots - ark.
