Magnus Mechanical Mod

I have a Maraxus Mod. Mangus makes it I am told. It looks beautiful. Black & Gold. Heavy for a mod. Bought it after reading a review from Twisted 420. He said it's the hardest hitting Mod he has ever seen. He has always been spot on. For the Mods I have made. Scuffed the inner threads to improve contact. Placed black O Rings on the crowns outside to eliminate that loose feeling. Replaced the spring in the fire button with Magnets. This Mod don't work for crap.
I might as well had thrown $26.00 out the window. I have 40 some odd Atomizers & none of them work worth a crap on this piece of junk. It makes a simple circuit. Nothing to go wrong. The PMMA coating is the only thing I can think of. Buyer Beware on this one.

To be fair, twisteds review wasn't of the black one and probably isn't made by the same manufacturer..

I cleaned off the coating, no difference, still maybe it fires, mostly it don't. Sprayed it inside with copper coat. No change. Removed the battery put it in our 60 Ton press. Made a nice paper weight.

I have a maraxus as well and I noticed that my button would touch the side of the bottom casing and arc, causing a misfire and resulting in a possible shock. Hence my maraxus is now a paper weight/self-defense item. I'd love to fix it somehow but cannot fathom a way to do so. Maybe some sort of switch sleeve...

Remove butoon and tape off everywhere except the sides and spray with bed liner. Problem solved

Good tip! I had tried tape but they were too thick. I would love to grind it down and slot a nice delrin sleeve around it...

I filed a button down around the outer rim then sprayed bed liner on that edge only and sanded smooth. I should've explained better in my first post. The tape is only to keep the spray off of the other surfaces
