Vaping RTA and a wearing a suit

Hi guys,

I am new to vaping and building RTAs. Recently, I started with building on a baby beast RBA. I really like it so far.

As I need to wear a suit to work every day, I don't carry around a hip pouch or even a traditional bag.
How do you guys carry around your vapor? I have had some flooding issues etc, I hope they'll be gone soon. But what about having your vapor sitting horizontally in your breast pocket? Any issues with leakage and stuff?

I really like RTAs and I would like to go into RDTAs. I'm worried however that this is not suitable for work (and unfortunately I work 70-80 hours a week).

All the best

Most RDTA's will leak a bit if laid on their side.
Many RTA's will also dribble some if kept on their sides.

Okay, so I'm definitely better off by buying a high-end RTA such as a Griffin or something.
Having it diagonally, would that cause problems as well?

Are there any convenient sleeves on the market? That might solve the problem

I love my Griffins & Avocados, tons of flavor and vapor, with that being said I go through a lot of juice and drain batteries rather quickly. With that being said I think they would be a poor choice if I wore a suit and worked long hours as I would need to have extra juice & batteries. But a nice top fill tank with a 50 or so watt coil would probably get me thru a day without refilling or recharging. Griffins are great with some dual Aliens or fused claptons but they are some thirsty & power hungry bitches & that's what they are designed for

My griffin never leaks a drop but it's too big to carry around. I primarily use RDA's and they don't leak unless I over drip.

Get an obs engine/obs engine mini. 25mm/23mm.
Very easy to build, leak proof by design.
I have a 25mm in my jacket pocket half the day and no issues.
It literaly cannot leak.

Mostly, I use either a Merlin or a Sub-tank Mini on a box mod.

Fit's in my shirt pocket and does not leak.

Never had a single issue

Both my Reo with a dripper or my pico with my avocado or a kayfun are great shirt/vest/coat pocket mods...

Never seen a 100% leak proof vape. But once I get wicking and drippin/squonking down. Leaks are pretty much eliminated in most atties I have tried.

I use the serpent mini when I need to wear my suit. Low wattage, single coil and no leaks

Squonking is the method of choice for the well dressed man - sleek, elegant and a superior vape every time.

Yeah, I have one and it doesn't leak - but that 2 ml is pretty limiting as far as being a daily driver

If you want something that definitely won't leak you need to get away from the bottom airflow tanks, at least when you're at work. Buy an OBS Engine style RTA with a cup style tank. That's really the only way to guard against leaking for sure. You may sacrifice some flavor but your suit will be clean. Yes there are tanks that leak less than others but anything with bottom airflow has the potential to leak. Definitely stay away from the original Merlin. That thing has a poor quality press fit and it will eventually seep. I know I have 4 of them. Supposedly the Engine has really good flavor for a top airlow only tank.

How about a belt holster?
I found some cheap $2.99 cell phone holsters with a belt clip. Cut the flap off and they fit my Chester perfectly. Have elastic sides so it grips well too.

They work so well I bought 4 more.

Got a custom made leather holster & never leave the house without it.
Considering what I know now I should have asked for a raised side so that the RTA/RDA body wouldn't touch my shirt.

Oddly enough, and many will disagree with me, but my Cthulhu v2 has not leaked on me (once I learned how to use it) and it always lays over in my jacket, etc... The down side to it is, if you don't put it together precisely the right way every time, it will bleed out like a stuck pig. A bit of a pain, but a wonderful rebuildable tank. Just my experience with it.

I also wear a suit to work. My setup is the Pico with the Melo III 4ml tank using coils. I put it in the smaller pocket below the big jacket pockets and it stays very upright and never leaks. I would trust my serpent mini not to leak, but it doesn't have enough juice capacity. I keep a bottle of e-juice at work to refill if needed.
