@kelli we are already near maxing out the battery technology at 150w if you run 0.2 ohms at 150w that is pulling like 27 amps. vtc5s are only 30 continuous. im not sure how using two 18650 batteries effects the amp limits tho if at all, maybe someone could fill me in

i hope so too, cause i am stoopid when it comes to all things electrical. i can turn on a light switch, that's about it.

See I have a theory about Butkiss I mean @BUDKISS he means well and I think actually he wants to start up a business in vaping
but ya know I am beginning to think its going to be like a Pornvape thing so I kinda am keeping my distance ya know! :)

Sorry to disappoint you MrsCaryz. While i would love to be working my chance of starting anything business related are now nearly impossible. I suffered a major injury last dec and was in a coma for 3 weeks from massive blood loss. I spent the most of the first few months of this year relearning how to walk and talk. I am now on medical leave and rarely get to leave the house. (Not a sympathy plea in any way just an explanation.)

I am not quite sure why you (and for that matter, Whiskey) have chosen to jump to certain assumptions about me or feel the need to go after my character in such an ugly way. It seems to be a pattern. Have I done something to you personally that I need to apologize for? If so, please let me know and I will do everything I can to make amends.

By the way... I am a retired minister. PORN-vape (whatever that is) is definitely off the table for me.

Sincerely.

be that as it may, can i ask a dumb question? where will the escalation in wattage stop? will we see 5,000 watt mods?

I am just hoping that with the more advanced chip sets that they finally figure out how to make them "step down" the voltage/watts properly. They do a great job of stepping it up to give us higher and higher voltage/watts, but on my SX200 (Sigelei 20watt) and SX300 (Seven-30), when you stick a fresh battery in it (4.1v), and set it to 7 watts, it actually dumps about 10+ watts to the atty... Not very good on my older tanks whose coils taste burnt at that level...

Yes... "retired" (yes, at 44... thanks for checking me out) as in no chance of ever returning to ministry because i am now disabled.
Not a very funny thing (to me) but perhaps your sense of humor is indeed a bit different than mine.

I use headphones to tune out the kids when they get too obnoxious.
ROB... What miracle of God allows me the ability to tune out the outspoken and unnecessary rude folks (albeit there are only 2 or 3 i could name) that like to troll around here in VU? Please enlighten me.

Budkiss , you seems to attract a lot of negative attention , you seem OK to me , maybe it's your style or major announcements about new devices . I would try to stay out of the spotlight and avoid starting threads about anything iPV related , let people find out for themselves.

I think it's pretty obvious by now that people will defend Elev8 at all costs regardless of the truth , especially if your the one delivering the news . Even if Elev8 really screwed up does anyone think they are actually going to admit it , of course not , they , as any vendor would, blame it on the other party .

Each individual needs to do their own homework and look at each vendors track record , is this a one time instance of screwing up or has it been an issue in the past as well , i think most know that answer.

Imo , getting an item for a considerably lower price is worth putting up with the BS .

The SX350 has a step down
-VW: 5W-60W
-VV: 1.5V-9.5V
-Handle 0.15 - 3.0 ohm Atomizer

I am also in the confused camp when it comes to all the hate toward BUDKISS. I take all of you faceless netizens with a healthy handful of skepticism but since I got my iPV2, and have run that through the google more than a few times to see whats up, he had some good info that I wasn't seeing anywhere else. Maybe he's murdering puppies offline, IDK, but I haven't seen any reason to hate on him.

Ouch. I love puppies. :)

Thanks for the support and kind words gang. Appreciated.
I've never intentionally sought out a spotlight btw. On the contrary. I try to stay low key.
I have - like many others here - try to bring new info to light on a product I was interested in.

No comment about the vendor drama. I think enough has been said.

It takes a tough backbone to go and get information and post it regardless of the backlash , as long as it's true i don't give a rats ass how it was done .

Many these days imo , don't like to draw attention to themselves and prefer to follow whats popular at the moment , if hating Budkiss is the popular thing to do people are going to hate Budkiss .

I have not seen proof anywhere that what Budkiss has posted in the past is untrue , was it a popular thing to do , obviously not but was it untrue , i haven't seen evidence of it.

Weather or not I always agree with you, I do appreciate your posts. Never anything wrong with a civil debate. And there are some on here that will agree to disagree. I hope you have a full recovery.

VH & Scuba... Thanks. I appreciate the honest feedback, support, and the wish for full recovery. Nice words.

After my accident I don't have much left but my integrity. So i cling to it (and probably a bit overly sensitive when it is called into question). Clearly i ruffled some feathers on the other forum (mostly folks that were closely connected to a particular vendor). I am sort of new to this forum thing so i chalk it up to an awkward learning experience. Lesson learned.
I post in a number of (less controversial) threads (some of them that i have started) that have absolutely nothing to do with the P4Y product. Those haven't gotten the same level of fervor though. :)
Call me crazy but sometimes i notice folks get this "lord of the flies" contagion on forums and jump on a bandwagon and spout off all sorts of nastiness that they wouldn't otherwise do in a face to face encounter (i hope). I try to never say anything here or elsewhere that i wouldn't be comfortable exemplifying in front of my children. Again... this is just me. To each his own.

Hello, I was interested in purchasing the new IPV 2s. Some mentioned about the venting holes and after reviewing the videos I can see that both units do have vent holes on the bottom. Now if the are sealed from the inside then that's another story.I wish they showed the inside of the unit in the video.

For the waterproofing part, can they coat the chip in something that makes it waterproof? I thought that evolve does that with there DNA chips. Might be something different but I was just curious because I don't want the device to not have a way of venting.

I have to admit i find your restraint quite impressive , i don't have that kind of restraint , if i'm attacked for no good reason i relentlessly defend myself and it can get pretty nasty but you won't find me starting it .

When i'm at fault i will freely admit i'm wrong and apologize because it's the right thing to do , i think that type of mindset comes with age and maturity though.

When your young it's a hell of a lot harder lol , imo you tend to become quite a bit more compassionate with age, the "everything must die " attitude when your young fades away .

Yeah that was me , i just don't understand why they would put the venting holes on the bottom because as you set the device down they are covered up , not too bright an idea imo.

To be honest, the DNA mods don't seem to have venting built into them (at least my clone doesn't) so i wouldn't worry about it unless your vaping high wattage and the device is constantly warm.

I put little circular rubber bumpers (stick ons) on the bottom of mine to keep the venting holes unblocked , probably not needed but i like to tinker.

I had heard someone else say today that the ipv2s was going to be dual 18650. I'm guessing they were wrong? I can't really understand everything in the videos.

Yes the 60w is out at vendors, but to me it makes no sense to buy it.If you want headroom get the 100w it's about the same price.Just received the IPV3 yesterday I'm set no more box mods for me.More than enough power and built well,no charge cable but I don't care. All the talk for 180-200 w is stupid ,tried 150 once forget about it....all you have to do is learn to build coils the right ohms.

I'm set with this right here.
120 watt Raptor Chip with Dual 18650's in a Hammond 1590B Box.
With a Mutation X at .35 ohms It can do 6 Volts, drawing 17 amps putting out 103 watts.
I personally drop it to 5.5 Volts, pulling 16 amps to produce 86 watts.
I am usually happy right there.
