Just got the RTA and can't get a build to read. Gotta be a short somewhere??
This free spinning deck is new to me so maybe that's the problem.
Won't read on the 521 Tab or a TC mod/
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
No Youtube help that I could find.

Thanks

I'm no expert - I just got my first one and have only run a few tankfuls through it but... if it is not reading at all, I would guess that the center pin needs to back out a tad to make better contact.

If it was a short, it would probably read but the ohms would be jumping around.

Well it's a clone so I'm getting what you pay for.
Played with center pin and screw that holds the pos block down with no luck.
The screen on the 521 just shows the lines like nothings on it.
Won't fire it either.
Serves me right for being a cheap ass.

Shoot - I buy clones to see if the real one is worth buying all the time, lol
I have seen more than one bad review on the Petri RTA clone though.

$70 is a lot of bones to risk spending on an RTA, especially one that only holds 2 ml.

I really love mine but was on a Black Friday just got a Christmas bonus splurge extravaganza:giggle:

It is a flavor beast for sure

$70 seems fairly high for a RTA, but imo its definately worth the money.
I'm not really a rta guy but just can't put this down since the day i got it.

The only downside i could think of is the 2ml capacity, i just keep filling this thing :xD:.

Have u tried screwing it on other devices yet ?
Only thing i could think of is the centerpin that holds the deck.
Double checked everything ? all screws are tight and such ?

I actually had the same issue. Come to find out the insulator at the center pin was nowhere to be found. Bought another clone in gold and the insulator came with that one. Love the flavor off this rta but you will fill constantly. I believe it might be shy of 2ml because I seem to fill it more often than my Mage and Merlin mini. Biggest con for this rta is the direction of the airflow. I have to take my tank off every time I fill

I had the same problem with a 24mm clone. I found that the positive block was touching the deck when I tightened everything down. I added some insulation between the block and deck. Works perfectly now.

I bought the authentic first, then 2 PTI clones at fastech. Clones, finish is not as nice & a/f is as stiff as a 16 year old cock.

The vape? Indistinguishable.
Recoil, longer legs, i got a short first time.
The above post, would've never thunk it, Look there too..

I went through this too. Threw my little clone in the garbage. Good flavor but just not satisfied and when it started shorting i just chunked it. Live and learn

The air bubbles coming from the chimney holes to the top means it is wicking.

If you are only seeing the bubbles when you loosen the top, it is not wicking properly and that is why you are getting dry hits.

You may need just a tad less cotton? Or just reposition the wick just a hair

Just an update, i finally ordered a new rta or rdta. The ijoy limitless, i ordered the 4ml capacity original. I like smaller tanks, still more than the petri and its stock with a chuff cap i like that. Unfortunately fasttech is down for holidays so itll ship Feb 4. Got the black one. I con sidered the plus but its pretty big. Id like to get some better coil wire. Wish i could find a cheaper way, id like some 26/36 fused clappies. Kanthal with a nichrome wrap, any suggestions? Would like to get a spool if possible. I dont like building or have time anymore really

Check out lightning vapes, they have spools of fused claptons, not sure of the gauges they offer tho. I ordered a spool of it once just to try, it's not great, but not terrible either, it's nice to have on hand it you don't feel like making them up.

Hi vapers just a quick question, I know I'm in the wrong place lol not very technical hence why here, has anyone got 2 mins to answer a question on diy liquid? Many thanks
May the clouds be big
