Had to hell ride up to Tampa yesterday morning at 5am, to avoid snowbird traffic (10 under in the left lane
), to meet up with a truck forum member for some unwanted parts exchange. Thankfully experience trumped the snow and ice fiasco going on.

Hey Whiskey I just watched the vid the kid posted on cleaning pre made coils. I've been doing that for years, my method that works.
A quarter cup of water in a small pot, bring to boil add a half teaspoon of salt, drop in coil, let boil for a minute or two, remove coil and shake off and blow out the water, take a couple of sheets of writing and put on counter, put coil on paper, top down and let sit overnight, the paper draws out the moister.
Or, mount coil on base and dry hit at lower wattage and blow on it, like a dripper, boils off the moisture. I usually get another week or two out of them.
