Got a quote of $102 - including shipping and Paypal transfer fee - for the Cloupor T6. Better than the $110-$120 pre-order prices I've seen domestically.

Now keep in mind that this is a vendor - also based in China - I found through alibaba, which I've never dealt with before. I went to the vendor's site - 6 month warranty (3 months for atomizers), phone numbers and address listed - and it looks legit.

Have folks here worked with alibaba vendors with items on an individual basis? Any good experiences or horror stories you're willing to share?

Well, I annointed myself guinea pig for the Cloupor T6 purchase. The vendor is www.okingtech.com. Hopefully this works out ok!

looks like a Shenzhen sub-vendor, I see the name everywhere i think it's a company? i dont imagine you'll have problems but let us know

Toally agree...you know what you want, you order and then a week of to-ing and fro-ing then they start the shipping process.Its almost a compulsion or possibly a cultural process. Just to answer earlier question, i have ordered through Alibaba many times and no nasty surprises just the odd quality issue from certain companies but you eventually learn from your mistakes.

Ive ordered a kryptonite and a dreadnaut from alibaba shipping was quick to Canada 5days but dhl man they have a special ways they don't call or email just a sticker on the door then I had to arrange a date and pay 22$ more in delivery fee which bring my shipping to almost 60$ so it cost me 150$ to be the first around here with those mod(nobody here sell 26650 batt had to use a fitter for 18650) and the week after they were on ft and eBay for 60$ each so no big deal there unless I buy for 1000$ for wholesale I'll never pay that much shipping fee ever

Just got word that Cloupor is still trouble-shooting quality issues. So for the T6 at least, they're not shipping until after the National Day holidays (Oct. 1-7).

Let us know how it works out for you! I had to have a Seven30 v2 mod, but only place I could find them was directly from Pioneer4You on Alibaba ... And the MoQ was 5 ... Did it anyway on kind of a whim on a Thursday night... Midnight our time is about Noon on Friday there... That next Thursday afternoon, a DHL truck came rolling up the driveway !!! Amazing, all the way from China to ATL, GA in a week... This damn internet is amazing sometimes... :p

I have had good help from Shenxi (best panzer clones). Shipping is pricey but they will let you buy single mods as long as you buy at least 5

I almost did the same thing last week for the t8 had it all set up $85 for t5 $20 shipping MOQ WAS 5 but dropped to 2 then finally 1 but I chickened out and got the sigelei and its currently in my hands and loving it.

Mine has arrived in the US. Not sure how long it will take to process through customs, but hopefully it's in my hands within the next few days.

Good luck dealing with a China vendor direct if there is an issue. I ordered something direct from a collectibles company. After 2 months, numerous e-mails and a $30 phone call it was finally resolved. And the way it was resolved is taking it to their Facebook and several collectibles pages.

Fasttech usually has you send a picture and then mail it to there Miami addy.. as soon as it gets there, they ship a replacement. Usually no troubles.

Dealing direct with China is not difficult , making it worth it is the hard part . Out of every conversation i had with Chinese manufacturers the actual devices whether it be an iPV from P4U or a Cloupor release the actual devices have been offered for between $51.00 - $58.00 per unit depending on how many you order .

The shipping unfortunately , always takes you up to around the $100.00 mark , even for a single sample order which they are more than willing to ship you , not worth it to me.

A group buy is the way to go with these .

I am talking about dealing with the source. Not a seller. My situation was dealing directly with the company.

Well it arrived today.

Good news is that it works with the USB plugged in.

Bad news is that it doesn't work with a freshly charged battery ... so obviously there is a faulty connection between the battery and the chip.

Just finished making a vid for the vendor to show Cloupor how this particular device is faulty.

Okingtech will accept the return and will cover shipping back to China. :)

Need to remember to ask them to test the replacement before they send it out to me.:rolleyes:

Well after 2 weeks of waiting for USPS and EMS to make the return delivery, Okingtech has finally received the package.o_O

My new T6 is on its way to me :D :D :D

Holy crap, is this a known thing???

I ordered a DNA 30 mod from her back in March (before the nirvana of device explosions this summer, which basically made it obselete), and it took literally THIRTY emails over the next 6 months before she begrudgingly shipped me my item in late September.

And I truly believe that it is not even an actual DNA 30 chip in there, as it does not do the standard functions of stealth mode, power lock, etc. And it is honestly not that great of a device.

Most horrible experience in my vaping-related purchases I have ever had. She may have been able to get away with crap like that before DNA or greater devices were as prevalent as they are now, but I don't know why anyone would put up with it any longer.
