Issues with Billow V3

I just got back into vaping (vaped for about two years, stopped around 6 months ago and just got back into it the other day) I'm running a billow v3 on a Cool Fire 4 Plus 70w mod. 2 coils of 21 gauge Kanthal, 6 wraps each, pushing .26 ohms. my biggest issue is that I'm getting a lot of dry/burnt hits from it. just using normal unbleached cotton and my juice is 30/70 PG/VG

The billows are fairly simple to wick...You want a just a touch of the wick to fit down inside the juice hole..Not down into the channel and not above the juice hole...the cotton should fill the entire hole yet not go deep into it...if you can post a pic of your build that would help.

I'm running mine with 24g at a 2.5mm inner diameter coil. It measures 0.34 ohm's and the wicking is straight forward
Push the wick through the coil, clip it where it meets the deck and gently let it sit in the wick slots.

21 gauge kanthal is too thick for that tank. It takes too long to cool off, so after taking a drag it will fry your juice while it is still hot. Do you hear it sizzle AFTER you take a puff?? The thicker the wire, the longer it takes to heat up and cool down. Especially kanthal. 24 gauge or thinner kanthal wire would be best for the Billow V3. Maybe even try some 24 gauge Nichrome 80 as it heats up and cools down faster than Kanthal. Hope this helps.

CV :)

P.S. Here is video of my build and wick for a Billow V3 Plus. Your deck is smaller but you will get the idea.
