Been vaping this mod for a few months now in a couple of weeks it showed up but didnt look that bad went into a vapeshop and asked about it they said its natural and u just need to clean it with an pen eraser. Tried it and it got kind of clean but now its bothering me alot cause i keep getting hot button. Anyways i am subohming with it 0.1 ohms.(pleas dont call me an idiot i have done my research i know how battery pulsing works and such but im not an expert i think the reason is why it turned out like this is probably cause of the mod button not being flat enough or some issue with the nod.(limitless mech) im intrested in knowing are these batteries still safe to use/cleanable?

You sir called yourself an idiot I am just supporting the fact you know fuck all and nothing and would better better off playing in traffic.

On a serious note starting out building .1 coils is not doing it correctly. There is not a battery on the market that can do so safely in a mech it is a recipe for disaster.
Those shop tards are something else.
Get an ohm meter, build above your batteries CDR and vape happy.
Never build on pulse that is a new story and us laughing at your fuck up waiting to happen.

Building a dead short is not learning. See my edited response, browse the hundreds of other pages in this forum that all say the same thing ad nauseam

The silver plating is coming off of the brass contact. Best to remove it all. Shine up the brass. You'll need new batteries of course.

Those are sony vtc5a its a 25amp battery 2500mah. Im not a complete moron(maybe a little) i do know 0.1 ohm is super dangerous and i probably shouldnt be vaping that low on a single tube mod but i was prepared i checked my batteries everytime if they got hot they never did even after 15min on non stop vaping they got a little warm. But i played stupid and didnt clean my contacts often which is why theyre so black.

Hi Hunt, you came super close to lift off with that set up, not good, venting was extremely close to happening, just what are you asking? Because I think the replies here are going to tell you what you already claim to know. If you are going to vape that way, get out of the single tube mods and get something that is safer.

Even if you clean those contacts you are playing Russian roulette with a damned near fully loaded gun.

Good idea on the raise in ohms, and poor connections will cause arcing and corrosion on switches and batteries. Everyone here is correct on all counts.

Battery voltage divided by ohms equals amps draw. NEVER exceed the CDR of your battery. For your battery's sake.

Nah not anger in the slightest, you should read back through a few pages and see the stupidity that gets argued because some tard with a pipe bomb in training is thinking he is smarter and more experienced. It just gets old.

Not really keeping vape rep up, just read your posts and seeing potential for a very bad accident waiting to happen, sorry you didn't get quite the answers you were looking for , but rather hard warnings of concern, I'll just move this thread over to what not to do, Good luck and vape SAFER!!!

Yeah i have read those sort of things my self i know its super dangerous and i knew i had a pipe bomb in my hand the entire time i was vaping that setup xd the fact was i didnt care if it exploded in my hand xd but ill be safer for the vaping community!
So if anyone else is reading this and doing the same thing i am doing running super low ohm builds in a tube mod the fact that u know what ur doing doesn't make it safe!

Hopefully no new vapers coming along reading this ,will use it as an example for safe vaping, but rather as an example of what NOT to do.

I never go below 0.15 in any mechanical device.
Of course there is no need in any regulated device.

We are telling you what you're doing wrong, you're just not listening.

If you want to Vape at 0.1 get a parallel or a regulated mod.

Hot button and I must say the worst arching I've ever seen should have been the first sign you're severally doing it wrong.

Exactly what @BigNasty did. Explained what you are doing wrong. But it was not the answer you wanted to hear. His answer is EXACTLY what you are doing wrong.

This guy wants to keep you from needing facial reconstructive surgery and you chastize him for not being "nice?"

watch this video in the thread and read the thread
http://vapingunderground.com/threads/anthony-vapes-presents-vaping-safety-101.300140/
that's battery safety 101, you clearly need to brush up a bit on it

Outside of that maybe switch to a regulated mod for the time being. mech mods can be awesome but only in the right hands. not a good starting point at all. hot button means something is wrong. You should be building on a meter to test for shorts 1st before putting your build on a mech.

You come here for help
Ever hear of tough love?

I strongly urge you to learn about electricity before you give yourself irreparable harm.

Ohm's law.... Ohm's law ...Ohm's law
Take care of your batteries, they are the heart and soul of any mod.
Do not exceed the current rating, use mooch's recommended cells.
Keep your mod and sled clean.
Stick with Sony vtc4,5 or 6 or Samsung 25r.. use a good verifiable source like liionwholesale for your batteries.

Personally I won't drop below a 0.15 in a single cell mech or below 0.5 in a series box.

I have some other info written down for newer vapors or those that need some information... There is some ohm's law and mooch's recommended battery info included as well. Maybe if you learn a little bit you won't hurt yourself, the community or those around you.

Ah man, a few of mine have black circles too. I didn't clean the contacts either. Although they don't look near as bad, really need to throw batteries away??? I hate being an idiot. Can't clean um? I build around.15 . Have VCT5. Thought they would b okay. Bummer. Glad He asked this question, otherwise I'd still be using

Been reading, Deoxit. They apply to both ends of battery, spring and reduces arcing. Deoxit gold. Red is for cleaning.

There is nothing higher than 30 unless u want to count the new version of the pink hb6 batts mooch listed at 32 amps but I just call it a 30

Also samsung just made a 30 amp 20700 battery with 3100mah
