That's OK I grew up in a place where alot of the people were like a character from the movie Deliverance...except they all had spainish accents.

yep...pretty much what it was like....actually there was a book and latter a film called "Red Sky at Morning" that is a pretty good example of what it was like.

I'm an Obsessive Compulsive Reader. (If that is even a real thing) I get upset when I can't have my books near me (Thank God for Kindles). If I am angry or upset reading usually calms me, Just like vaping does.
Once in 11th grade, my Language Arts (English) teacher got tired of me finishing my work within the first 15 minutes of class and took my book I was reading away from me and wouldn't return it after class. I told her that her salary wouldn't cover my reading habit and snatched my book right off her desk. She looked dumbfounded. The thing is though, I was never discourteous to her before then and I was her star pupil. She just got a stick up her ass one day and I don't know what put it there. I mean she couldn't write me up for finishing my work early, making a 100 in her class and reading quietly could she?
Don't mess with my books, man!!

I pierced my nose in 1979 when it was still a shocking act of rebellion
In my case it still would be an act of rebellion. My mama, one of the most important people in the world to me, is a strictly religious person. Surprisingly enough she allowed my to get the top of my ear pierced when I was 16... who knows how she'll react to a simple stud in my nose.

I got the conch piercing in the center of my ear and would have planned to get the other ear done, but that is the most painful thing. The septum didn't even hurt. Nope... no more ear cartilage piercing for me. I think it looks so nice with a diamond stud or a spike in it though. 12 months to heal and hurts if I sleep on it with anything in there.

I think you are my younger sister from another mother -- though in school I used books to ESCAPE whatever boring shit was being taught in class.
For my own Fun Fact... I was a kindergarten drop-out. I'm an only child... so at the age of 5, being around a lot of other kids was a new and scary thing that I just couldn't deal with. So I've been an anti-social hermit pretty much my whole life.

I got pulled over going about 115mph coming back home from visiting my GF at the time in my Camaro with the 357 V8.
Got OUT of the ticket when the Highway Patrol Trooper looked at the address on my licence and started asking questions. Turns out I grew up with and was a friend of his Fiancee !
