Vapor leaving residue?

Want a way to prevent it? Crack your drivers side window a quarter inch or so and set your ac/heater to blow at your feet and crank up the fan speed all the way. Make sure it is set to pull in outside air and not recirculate inside the vehicle. This will form a sort of vacuum effect right out your window... Problem solved! :D

Oil absorbent towels (Comes in a blue roll) from your local car part shop, like Autozone... and windex. Windex does a great job of breaking down the oils and the blue towels absorb everything. After cleaning you can wipe down the windows with a dryer sheet to remove any static, to prevent the start of build up. Also, Cold glass will always attract vape right out of the air. Winter is a bitch.

NO! You don't rub dryer sheets on glass! It would do the same thing as RainX on the outside of your glass.

You'd have a smeared mess ever time you tries cleaning it later.

Stoner Invisible Glass and newspaper, the aerosol is handier than the pump spray for interior. There's probably other products that work as well or better, but you can find Invisible glass everywhere. You want to avoid products with ammonia on tint and rubber.

Anyone have a safe solution for computer screens, cases and printers? I'm pretty much confined to my small office at home because my wife hates the vape smell.:p

Same film humidifiers leave all over the place in a room....best glass cleaner is called sprayway, it's in a can like spray paint, I get it at King soopers and Costco carries it also. Best shit I have ever used....really. But preventing it, no idea:)

I wish that was the case, but this isn't just water vapor - the VG/PG leaves it's own residue. I recently changed an AC filter, and it was absolutely dripping with what seemed like VG! I was using Sprayway to clean all the windows in my house, but I found that the ammonia in regular Windex did a much better job of breaking down the slightly greasy film.

I have light, glossy laminate flooring in my house, and by the end of the week it's covered in a slightly oily film.

Holy tamole! Just how much vaping do you do, anyway? I would think one helluva lot, to leave that kind of mess all over everything. That sounds as bad as the brown coating of tar indoor smoking leaves all over everything.

Late to add..but I use coffee filters and Windex...the filters work as well as, if not better, than the newspaper...little more durable, no black fingers, and no streaks :)

I'll have to try wet dryer sheets. They work wonders on bugs.

So, I am a dripper, I dump the clouds in my car everyday, but I started to notice that my windshield is getting a little foggy, and I can't rub it off with my hand nor a towel.. I tried both sides and it's stuck! I was thinking that it was the vapor leaving a sticky type substance on the windshield. Is this possible? And if so, how TF do I get it off?
I use equal parts vinegar and water then use my handy squeegee it works everytime

Yep and it's annoying as hell!
Still trying to find a good solution but I have yet to come up with anything that is practical.
Wasted some money on the rainx antifog the other day. That shit didn't help one bit.
I'm kinda thinkin just good ol' fashion windex and paper towels.
If you do come up with a solution I know lots of us would love to hear it.
And if I ever come up with one I'll be damn sure to post it.
In the mean time, vape safe, drive safe ;)
I tried for a full min to try to wipe the bug in your sig off my laptop screan before I realized it was a gif.........also ty for the advice!

I use glasses wipes towelettes found at the Walmart. 1 does half the windshield. In winter daily cleaning is necessary...

I carry a microfiber towel in my vehicles to clean the windshield at stoplights. I noticed the film gets worse with humidity and cold weather.

Believe it or not- just plain tap water on a paper towel, wipe water soaked paper towel on glass or mirror, dry off with clean dry paper towel. No cost no worries

Couple things.

-Always keep the windshield vents on, this will create an air flow over your windshield preventing the vapor from hitting the windshield.
-Keep the drivers side and passenger side windows cracked a bit, this will create an airflow through the vehicle to suck the vapor out of your vehicle. If you have a 4 door vehicle, use the front drivers side window and rear passenger side window.
-blow your clouds away from the windshield, like down towards your feet, or towards the passenger side.

As for VG already built up on the windshield, I've found plain, dry, paper towels to work fine with a bit of light rubbing. The paper absorbs the vg off the glass.

I use Windex and paper towels about once a week. Same as I did when I smoked.

Vinegar works well but a better smelling alternative is a bit of lemon juice, does the job and smells better

I don't know, maybe it's the PG that's hard to get clean. I vape max VG and can wipe my car windows clean(enough for me) with a dry paper towel.

Yes I think you're right. I use 60vp/40pg and 50/50 and the large mirror in my house is a mess. My mate uses 80vg/20pg and his mirror isn't bad, a quick wipe takes it off

My room is not the largest, but I can say there is a slight film that builds up on surfaces that is a bugger to get off.

It has that feel to it like when you accidentally get some juice on your mod.

Since I toned down the real cloudy builds and high power , it is not as bad , almost non existent.

We have to lean the vapor film from our display case tops and windows often. Even running exhaust fans we still have to do it at least twice a week.. We have found the best solution for removing vapor film from glass fast and easy. You probably have some in your home. Put it on generously and wipe glass dry. It's called Hot Water.

Windex and a firm but flexible squeegee does the trick for both home and auto.

Do you guys vape in your vehicles with window open or closed? I've been vaping for like 4 years give or take and I've only had to clean my windows a handful of times. When I smoked cigs I'd have to clean it quite frequently. I vape with the window cracked just like when I smoked and I always blow the vapor out the window. I vape high vg liquid and don't seem to have a problem. My wife and I also vape in the house and don't have any issues with film on windows or pictures. I also change my furnace filter every 3 months, just like I've always done, and have yet to see a difference in the filters from before we started vaping till now. We always have a fan going when we're vaping in the house, not sure if it helps or not though, still nice to have it move the vapor quicker.
